    I found a beautiful loft downtown right on Front Street and am on a waitlist for this summer. I cannot wait. They have amazing festivals and unlimited restaurants (I think I counted around 25 in walking distance). I do event marketing and have worked many festivals there, but I have been drawn to this place for a few years because of the falls. I also used to work at Burnt Wood Tavern and they have great food, great happy hour prices and an amazing patio in Cuyahoga Falls. Leo's Italian Social is the same company as Burnt Wood Tavern and their salmon is amazing! There is also tons of hiking in Cuyahoga Valley; there is lots to explore there. My brother lives in Golden, CO near Red Rocks Amphitheatre and it is beautiful, but it IS a little bit depressing when you come back from Vail, Colorado...but we do have some good stuff here in Ohio, and this is the spot! Still need to visit Sarah's vineyard but Blossom has been my go-to concert spot for over a decade.

      They were nice, back in the 90s, Today? Meh. Take Kent for example , if not for KSU, it would be in big trouble.

    Nice - this just popped up on my home page. Can't argue with any of it. I live at my photography studio on State road and my TH-cam Channel is mostly about cycling all over the area. So ok - I guess one thing I can mention is that The Falls is becoming more and more bicycle friendly and already has three amazing bike path that run through it! Cheers!

      Oh nice! Just checked out your channel ‼️Yeah there are so many trails and parks around here. I’ve been using my friends bike when we want to go riding. When I was looking to buy one, it was during Covid in early 2021 and the prices were crazy for a good bike lol

    Growing up in the '70s in Cuyahoga Falls was awesome then even before Front Street was remodeled. The Giant Slide in the Ward's Shopping center area parking lot. Learned how to swim in the old Nat. Reminds me of the old tv series, The Wonder Years. You would never be in any shortage of friends from school. Friends would stop by my house and we would all walk to school together. Awesome times! An enchanating time to be a kid growing up in the Falls!

    The falls is awesome fr! Pretty boring if you've lived here your whole life but if your coming from almost anywhere we have an amazing culture and an awesome park system

    On State Rd in Cuyahoga Falls is probably the best restaurant in the entire county: The Blue Door Cafe and Bakery. Terrible location but fantastic food.

      Blue Door may actually be the best in NE Ohio, especially the authentic pastries. ❤

    Today put in my 2 week notice for a Job in Los Angeles moving to Cleveland area... Like to find a early 100's home that wont to be too expensive to improve or pay too high property tax.. i see a few upcoming auctions

    • @livinginnortheastohio8643
      @livinginnortheastohio8643  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. Watch out for the property taxes! East side of Cleveland is more expensive with their taxes. Just depends on your budget but there are plenty of places with homes under $120,000.

      You can get a lot more house for a lot less money here than in Los Angeles...which will give you more money for updating, if you wish, but homes built in the early 1900s to 1950s are still pretty soundly built with lots of oak and built-ins.
