I am anti-social media but I must post a comment. I was born and raised in Akron. I left in 1981 to attend college in Arizona. I have never moved back but I visit every year. Akron is far from perfect but it is a great place to be from and Alex Kolesar does a great job highlighting the positives of the area. Great job Alex! I look forward to your future videos.
I love your videos. Looking to move from Houston TX. My husbands family lives in Akron and we are considering Cuyahoga Falls but Fairlawn was so beautiful when we visited.
Thank you! Oh wow, I lived in San Antonio Tx for 3 years. Both are great areas. Fairlawn is a lot smaller than Cuyahoga falls but it just depends what you’re looking for.
Love Fairlawn! I am in Bath and am in Fairlawn every day... so pretty here and so many great shops. Not a big fan of Summit Mall lately though -- 2 shootings in 5 weeks at the mall... :(
@@livinginnortheastohio8643 hope not. The environment keeps getting more agitated; we shouldnt have to deal with guns in the malls. The 2 incidents at Summit were isolated -- not a rage shooter fortunately; but its scary regardless. Public gun shootings are getting worse everywhere nowadays. Too many people on edge. :(
@@livinginnortheastohio8643 moving from Parma, OH. We were looking for a bigger house with a safer community, good schools and strategic location. It seems like Fairlawn checks everything!
