Near Bath Township, many many years of 4 distinct seasons.. Growing up in Cuy Falls, in the early 1960's all the outdoor activities, metro park system, hiking trails ,toboggan, sledding, golf.. Our kids & grandkiddies, Stow, Tallmadge, Kent State University.. As a Senior citizen ,our schools are going through big changes.. Imo-only if the school proficiency scores are crummy the next generation ( our great grandkiddies ) won't want to purchase a home .. Our private schools have closed in the last several years, but even if we as alumni would want to purchase our school, Cleveland Diocese won't budge.. We'll see. Great video. Thanks💙
Bring an xakronite I have lived away from Akron for some time the service an civialan jobs sent me to 23 States yet my life in Akron was so rewarding I went to parochial school for 12 years OSU for 6 I always like to look back Bobs Hamburgers East Ave Rocco's Pizza Swenson's haven't seen anything close I miss Akron but it has changed drastically.
Thank you for your comment William! My high school best friend's family owned the Rocco's on East Avenue. That brings back lots of good memories! And of course Swenson's is an Akron classic.
I feel like you only from Akron if you call other areas like fairlawn, Manchester, Wooster, etc etc Akron...you from Akron lol I know just said that but folks get upset when we say it's all Akron lol
LOL. You're right. I think when you're talking to people not from around here, it's easier to just say you're from Akron because people have heard of it.
moved away from the Akron area and I never looked back.
sorry to hear that!
Lots of great information Erin! Loving all the websites you used so we all can research area cities and schools! Thanks
Thanks Tom. Glad you found it helpful.
Great video 👍
I lived in Cuyahoga Falls for 13 years.
I miss that area of Akron
Thanks for your comment! Glad you enjoyed your time in the Falls.
I moved away from Stow in the 70s came back to visit it really grew and I really like it now, it was always a clean safe suburb of Akron.
Glad you like it! If you ever think about moving back, I'd be happy to help you find a place!
Her background is the East bank of the a Flats downtown Cleveland, at the Left Bank building, where I used to live before I moved to Florida in 1999.

Cuyahoga Falls! The land of my ancestors.
I left Ohio because it was dangerous to be a college student they were being shot.

Hudson, Boston Heights, Streetsboro are not suburbs of Akron they're suburbs of Cleveland Kent is a suburb of Akron
I guess that's debatable. Since they're in Summit County, they feel more like Akron suburbs to me.
Est-but those cities are not in Cuyahoga county.. They’re in summit county…
@@babatundefafiyebi9669 Northfield is also in summit county & its not considered a suburb of Akron
I'm from Cleveland and I've never thought of any of those cities to be Cleveland suburbs. 🤷🏼♀️
@@KGood28 just like you've probably never thought of Lorain Elyria or vermilion as Cleveland suburbs but guess what they are
