Using Plasti Dip On Car For Lettering- DIY

As stated this is my first time using PlatiDip.
This is the process that worked FOR ME.
Initially, I used it in the middle of the summer in a hot and humid garage. When I applied as recommended, I did not get the nice smooth results and it did not peel smoothly. Instead, the PlastiDip was very chunky and very difficult to peel off. (Like trying to peel a sticker off cleanly and all the residue and pieces stay behind)
What worked for me was to keep the can closer to the car and not waiting so long in between coats. It looks bubbly at first then smooths itself out. Also, when pulling it off, try to stay close to the car and pull from a close, 45-degree angle. Don't just keep pulling allowing the dip to stretch out too much because this can strain your paint.

It's actually STILL holding strong today!! 4/3/21 I have not had to re-fresh or redo, it's been kept outside mostly and have run it through countless carwashes!! I get worried when they pre-scrub when I run it in, but it looks exactly the same!!
