How do you wash the minced meat before cooking it?
Wash externally prior to mincing. It’s an item you have to purchase from select sanitary butcher or better yet mince at home.
Lemme try make it for my daughter before she comes back from school. Will come back to tell you how it went
How did it go?
@@nellyrobi the kebabs were nice but I realized that one needs lots of breadcrumbs ndio kila kitu iwe intact. Next time I will do without ginger and garlic to have the natural taste of everything else 🤗 thanks dear
@@sabinaweru8238 we learn everyday. Next time will be much better
Finger lickin' good. Keep up the good work!!!
Thank you Mark
@@nellyrobi You're most welcome Nelly. Do keep inspiring
If you don't have bread crumps what to use instead or will they still b ok without
You can use flour (wheat flour) instead
@@nellyrobi thenx alot can't wait 2 try
Hi Nelly what if i can't use the powdered spices
Use the whole ones like whole cumin seeds and grind your own black peeper. That plus fresh dhania, garlic and ginger should still be enough
Use the whole ones like whole cumin seeds and grind your own black pepper. That plus fresh dhania, garlic and ginger should still be enough
How many eggs do you ?
Thank you
Thanks for watching
How much kg of minced meat did you use?
It was about three quarter of a kg
Hey Nelly i Kindly request for an answer to my question..........as u said in the video u deep fry the Kebabs and add eggs up to 3times ....my question is if am going to deep fry the second time should i add flour or just eggs??
No you don't add flour you just dip in the egg again after deep frying
@@nellyrobi 😉thanks i had to confirm
Me too that was a concern -- Clarified- Tnks
W ere can I get such beef
nelly mrembo wa jikoni bigup

Hi! What is Dhana jeera in english?
I honestly don't know. It's a combination of spices though
Dhana - Coriander / Dhania
Jeera - Cumin
@Joan Ngina thank you ☺
Cynthi
@@nellyrobi Its a combination of cumin and tumeric
Can we skip to the part
Hey Nelly, I love your recipe. Just a bit of concern. Kindly list ingredients and their measurement so that consumers can know what to use. Other than that, big up. I wish you well.
Hi Maureen. The list of ingredients is in the description box. Check the drop arrow next to the title of the video
Nelly itried this jana but iliback fire the means meat HAZIKUWEZA KU ROLL
Hey Esther. Pole about that. It means you needed to add more egg or your minced meat had a lot of fat and hence prevented your meat from binding
@@nellyrobi thanx dear your right my minced meat had alot of oil, next time i will buy without oil
@@estheraded2483 alrighty, keep trying
Why do you prefer your minced meat cooked first?
And not later as u dip fry?
That way I am sure that it's cooked through and through and hence less time frying them
@@nellyrobi Am an amateur here but I suppose this ensure its well done!
Also; Kenyan's will not eat ANYTHING red - If I see red = uncooked/undercooked!
(am assuming you're NOT Kenyan :)

You forgot to add salt😂
Salt was added
Never cook minced meat we like it row
I like mine well done
Followed this recipe and was utterly disappointed. First of all, it takes forever to form the kebab shape from the cooked minced meat. And then secondly once dipped in the cooking oil, the whole kebab shape dismantles😫. It's so much easier to use the minced meat when it's raw and more sticky
Hi Vanessa. Sorry about that. You probably didn't put enough egg for the mixture to form and that's why it's crumbling. In the video, I do tell guys to add more egg if the mixture is crumbly.
Mine has refused to form a ball even after adding an egg 😭😭😭😭
Did you add bread crumbs as well? Also, how much minced meat are you working with?
Nelly's Kitchen oooh no i did not use breadcrumbs
u just turned me to a woman
Lol! How so?
oh well I wouldn't eat em if someone uses their hands just saying
You can use gloves when you are making yours. Thank you for watching🙂
Ha ha. You wouldn't know from a menu, dumbass!
