Jennifer, I loved the verse you shared in this video. I also start my morning with prayer and the Bible, and I can tell a complete difference if I omit that from my day. Your videos are inspiring to me-you have no idea what an impact you have made in my life. You are a household name in my family. ❤ I want to encourage you in your work-you bring beauty to this world.
I just retired from teaching. I spend 38 years teaching elementary grades. I have been working on my to do list, lots of things I had put off. Almost done, today was the first day of relaxation. I am 60 years old, single with two adult children. I start my morning by walking 5 miles everyday at 5:00 am. I do spend at least two hours in my backyard after I walk. I usually water my plants, put food in my bird feeder, drink my lemon water and read my devotional and bible. I journal a little bit. You have inspired me to stretch my neck and include meditation in my routine. I have followed you for years, thank you for continuing to inspire me to live a better life.
Psalm 91 is my favorite too. I love it so much, I wrote it on the doorframe over our front door when we were building our house. It gives me such peace and comfort to “abide in the shelter of His wings”
I love the calm, quiet way you have organized your morning, and your life. Your children are learning such valuable skills by the example you set. You have set a tone of peace and beauty in your home, which grounds and inspires your family. It's always such a joy to watch your videos. Thank you, Jennifer! 💛
What a beautiful, sacred, calm, grounded morning Jennifer 🙏🏻 You have been a huge blessing and a positive inspiration for me for so many years. Thank you for sharing ❤️🤗
❤Your time of meditation brought this quote to mind: “It is beautiful to say, ‘I am crucified with Christ,’ and know that Christ is making your plans. I tell you, ladies and gentlemen, twenty minutes on your knees in silence before God will sometimes teach you more than you can learn out of books and teach you more than you can ever learn in churches. And, the Lord will give you your plans and lay them out before you.” A.W. Tozer (1897-1963) “Total Commitment to Christ: What is it?”
This was an important video for me bc you included the time you started and finished. I have ADD and time management and planning are challenging for me. As I was watching this, I was thinking , my gosh, when is she going to start her day. And then you said it was 9:30am. Jennifer-I thought you were going to say 11:30 or 12! I have always taken a long time to complete things. Even when I was 15 years old, my dad made me go to bed at 7pm and get up at 4am. I needed to be ready by 7am or 7:30am. But it took me all that time to shower, dry and style my hair, do my business, get dressed, gather my things, and eat breakfast and clean up my mess. In the bathroom and kitchen. As an adult, I asked him why he made me go to bed at 7pm. Haha and he told me bc it took me a long time to get ready and I had to wake up before everyone else. I wish I could have a morning routine. I would love this. I listen to books read on TH-cam as I do my chores bc I don’t have two hours to sit and read. You said something though that I’m going to try: you mentioned that you don’t use your devices until (oh boy, see I forgot but I know it was well after rising.) I will go back and listen again. I’m also watching How Jen Does it and she is talking about time blocking. I’m going to try this as well. She mentions to record the daily start and finish times and then review what is being accomplished. Thank you for this video with the start and stop times. It was incredible you insightful and helpful to me. God bless you!
I always love seeing a new video pop up by you Jennifer. My morning routine is similar 💜 I drink my lemon/apple cider vinegar/ ginger water x2, do 10 mins of rebounding each day, 10x push ups, 25x squats, and yoga stretching if time permits. I'll do morning sun and grounding if I can too (no back yard of flowers etc) . I'll do my devotional and Journaling. It's tough though, I have an unpredictable riser (14 month old) and when I try and do any of the above, she's interested in it all. So if I can get up before her, it's so much better. Thanks for sharing your routine!
Your routine was so calming and beautiful to watch. My mornings always start rough and tumble, they always have since I was a teenager. I think I'd only be able to change that by following a sensible evening routine.
I cannot tell you how much I look forward to being able to learn living a more quality way of life, like this morning routine. Thank you for sharing 🙏🙏🙏
The most important thing I do each morning is steady myself - by not allowing a sense of urgency to penetrate. Excellent advice. So lovely, definitely resonates with many of us. Moving slowly, value your quiet time in the morning. The mediation, rebounding... so nice!
You are very efficient and calmly accomplish so much with your time in the morning. I like the tip to set a timer for some of the tasks to keep you on track. Psalm 91 is my favorite and I recite it daily with my prayers. Love the neck rolls definitely going to try those. You always make me want to start rebounding! Thank you for your inspiration.
Recently I've been naturally waking up at 4:30-5 AM and it allows me to get a lot of chores done. I also listen to Father Mike's bible in a year podcast at the same time. Thanks for reading, Carrie Spencer
I like Psalm 91, too. I memorized 15 years ago. I need to refresh that. I read Psalm 110 this morning, a reminder that Christ is King, Victor, a Warrior, and an eternal Priest. So much to be grateful for.
Hello Jennifer, Thank you for this beautiful video: I’m inspired! Even after being a mom, I have to remind myself that my children are the more important thing not a distraction from my plans; it happened again this morning but I’m happy to set aside my extra exercise day for this important shopping errand. ☺️ Love, Julie 💖
Thank you Jennifer for sharing your morning routine. I found your routine very inspiring. You reminded me of how much I also enjoy rebounding and need to add it back into my life as you did the lemon water. Another enjoyable video. Thank you again.
I will give the neck strech a try starting tomorrow. Lovely video, such a peaceful way to start the day. Going out to my garden first thing to see what's new to pick is very relaxing, we've had so many tomatoes this year! Thanks Jennifer ❤
Oh Jennifer! You were correct! I LOOVED this video! You look darling throughout!! Did you ever find out if the added lemon actually breaks your fast? Anyway, have a lovely week! See you Thursday!! With love, Kellie
Thank you for sharing your morning with us, Jennifer! Stretching is so very important, and lemon water is a favorite of mine, as well. I grabbed my commonplace book to record the quote by Matthew Weatherly White (please forgive any misspelling), and found that my last entry made, while listening to your video, was that exact quote, recorded on July 11! It rings so true!! God bless.
I know that I say this every time but you are such an inspiration for me! Your channel is so soothing in this world of chaos! Thank you for showing us ways to slow down and enjoy our mornings and our life. You are such a gift to me! Thank you for your channel!❤
I enjoyed watching this. it gave me some ideas to add to my routine. Your brows look beautiful. What product do you use to fill them in? I've had a hard time finding something that looks natural.
The more I see the mural, the more I love it! I can’t wait to see how you style the room around it, I just can picture a lot of moody shades of green all around. So beautiful!
What a wonderful thing to address your own physical, emotional, mental and spiritual needs first thing every day! This is the type of routine I aspire to, and when it happens I feel the diference. Thank you for the extra motivation and feeling of solidarity! 😁 Last year I enjoyed reading Habits of the Household by Justin Whitmel Earley, and your quiet time reminded me of that. Good reminders. 💜
The verse that stood out to me this morning was Romans 11:12 “…that is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.” Paul is telling us we are comforted by our mutual faith! Indeed we are! ❤
What a beautiful video, full of inspiration & encouragement Jennifer! Thank you for sharing! You have given the "nudge" I need to get back into my morning routine. I also prioritize reading scripture & praying first thing in the morning, and LOVE the quote you shared. I often let the "urgent" control my attitude & day. God bless! ~R
That is beautiful Jennifer! I’m currently in a postpartum stage of life but through your influence among others I’m learning to take better care of myself even in this busy season.❤
I really enjoyed this video Jennifer. Thank you for the work you put in to creating your beautiful channel. I would love to see what happens next in your day. Like a late morning routine. I could watch your whole day! ❤
Thanks for sharing. My morning routine is similar but the children are all raising kids of their own, so I don't worry at all about interruptions. Sometimes, I miss that!
I appreciate the ability to shift....my morning routine was wonderful - but packed. I have backed off of a few items this summer, sleeping a bit more if it's needed, and it has been much more peaceful. Prayer, coffee, talking with my husband, and walking the dogs are the pre-work priorities. I still do exercise about 4 x a week also, but sometimes shift it to evening.
This was lovely to watch. I love my morning routine as well. I rise and drink my lemon water with colostrum and mineral salt. I open the curtains and windows and start the essential oil diffuser. I put away any clean dishes washed the night before and start a load of laundry before heading out for a long walk. I come home and usually make breakfast for my family and maybe myself and have some scripture/devotional/prayer time with my children. Then I clean up the kitchen and do my workout that usually lasts about an hour-barre or Pilates or yoga or strength training or a combination. I would like to incorporate my own personal prayer and meditation before my kids wake up.
I love your morning routine. I too read my Bible and pray and often read a Devotional and try to write in my journal. I do need to get into the habit of drinking more water, I usually drink hot tea and iced tea throughout the day. I have thought about getting a rebounder, it does look like fun.
Welcome home! Your morning routine is so refreshing to mind body and soul. That poor animal, it looked like some kind dog or a sick coyote. I am like the animal whisperer in my neighborhood, haha. Ps- I love your jammies!!

Tip: comb your hair and brush your teeth before rinsing your face. Also, use the glow drops first and use sunscreen last in your skincare routine. -source: every dermatologist! ❤
I just finished your first book. Apparently, I cultivated the 'jen si que' thing you talked about. I didn't know it. After a plumber was done trying to figure out what was going on with the plumb8ng in a home my daughter and I bought, he gave me his personal number. Let me know, I was welcome to call or text if I had any questions or 'just wanted to talk'. So, be careful with cultivating that "thing", because you could end up in a situation like this. 😂😢
I keep wanting to add meditation to my morning routine but never get to it. I can meditate when I’m in groups but doing it in my own I can’t keep my brain quiet. I will keep trying. 😀
Welcome back home Jennifer!! Loved all your videos from England!! And now back at home. Home sweet home!! Love your morning routine! You inspire me constantly ,like the paint I use in my kitchen is your green paint! I live it as well as my family and friends. The attitude of thinking thru not rushing thru things if I cannot finish it because my family or other important things change my to do list is ok!! Drinking your water and the treasure of your coffee! Thank you Jennifer you are a gem!! ❤

I'm not sure how Stoicism totally aligns with Catholicism.

Thank you Jennifer for sharing your morning routine. I found your routine very inspiring. You reminded me of how much I also enjoy rebounding and need to add it back into my life as you did the lemon water. Another enjoyable video. Thank you again.
I do a similar neck stretch every morning which I call my "snap, crackle and pop."
I will give the neck strech a try starting tomorrow. Lovely video, such a peaceful way to start the day. Going out to my garden first thing to see what's new to pick is very relaxing, we've had so many tomatoes this year! Thanks Jennifer ❤
♥️🙏🏼✍🏻Bon~journal Monday!
You fill my commonplace with best and blessed inspiration, Jennifer!
For me, journaling plus 2x a day centering prayer keeps the anxiety away!
I am definitely inspired and motivated by your morning routine. It’s definitely a goal of mine, but I still have a long way to go before reaching it.

Hello Jennifer. As always, I enjoyed your video this morning. I’m a firm believer in a morning routine. I wanted to share that I ordered LMNT in the chocolate flavor, and I add it to my morning smoothie for breakfast. I think it is delicious. I have an issue with dehydration, and I’m thinking this is a great way to start the day! Of course it is yummy I but for summertime, it’s perfect. Have a lovely day!🎀
How does lmnt help dehydration? Doesn't the salt make you more thirsty and make you go to the bathroom more often?
I really enjoy the chocolate flavor too and no the salt does not make you more thirsty. It’s a fabulous product 😊❤
I love Psalm 91.
So relaxing ❤
Loved this! ❤️
Thank you for sharing. I love Psalm 91. My psalm for this year is 119.
Loved this video
Great quote!
Love this video Jennifer!
Than you!
I love this! ❤Sorry if I missed it but how long do you spend on the rebounder?
10 minutes ♥️
Thank you for sharing those verses from Psalm 91. 🤍 It’s fun to see your new mural in your living room. Lovely video!
Jennifer please do a planner mid year post
I think the creature on the neighborhood ring camera video looks like a greyhound dog. They are so skinny and strange looking my brother used to have one. They come in all sizes
I recall you entering strength training recently - when do you do this? My issue is with living in the south it is so hot that after I exercise (i am a runner) in the morning it requires a shower. This really adds a lot of time to my morning routine. If I don't shower I feel gross all day from getting sweaty. I read the Bible every morning too - The Bible Recap!!

Hello Jennifer, have you ever heard of infused water? I think, you would really like it.
Hello Jennifer!
Can you share what time you go to bed? My long-term goal is to rise just before sunrise! Without an alarm clock would be a bonus 😅
This was very inspiring! Is that tree behind you real? Let us know how you did it!
Thank-you for such an inspiring morning routine. Could you please share the color names of the Merit blush and lipstick you use. They have so many, and I especially like the ones you chose. Thank-you
Yes! Slip (lip) and Terracotta (blush). Thank you!
You mentioned the kids, but where is Ben in your morning routine? Does he get up early too?
Ben usually wakes up around 6 or 7 but he often travels for work as well.
@@TheDailyConnoisseur I'm glad someone else asked that question because I was wondering about that too. 😊
Our morning routines are very similar 😊.
Every morning I read Psalm 91 and 23. It was so nice to know that you also know Psalm 91.🙏💜
I really struggle with morning urgency - it starts immediately with my senior cat constantly meowing until I put her food down. 😢
I have heard of others purchasing an automatic cat food dispenser. But maybe that's dry food specific idk.
I’m sure you have posted before, but, who makes your PJs?
Printfresh! I linked them above. ♥
I missed you.
Lovely video.
I must ask you to link your pjs I absolutely love them. Do you think they have short pants also?
They are the best. Printfresh. I've linked them above.

Good morning Jennifer, thank you for your morning routine- in reference to LMNT, could you drink if your family has a history of high blood pressure?
Please ask your doctor before trying if you are concerned. Thank you! ♥
Lmnt has slot of salt. Is that much sodium good for us??.
I wonder that myself. I don't think us Americans are sodium deficient but tbh I haven't done the research behind that
Yes it very crucial and beneficial to good health. ❤
❤ lovely
Jennifer, does Ben wake when you do? Does he allow you this alone time each morning? My husband loves to chat when he wakes up and I do not, 😂.
She stated he wakes up around 6 or 7 but he travels for a living as many do …❤

I keep wanting to add meditation to my morning routine but never get to it. I can meditate when I’m in groups but doing it in my own I can’t keep my brain quiet. I will keep trying. 😀
I find it's unnecessary. Prayer (and journaling) is my meditation
I'm so glad you love the Evergreen Fog in your kitchen! Thank you!
