I got this for £399 from Argos last week, and at that price, I could not refuse. My only bad opinion so far is the poor battery life. That apart it's a great handheld. I am going to look into upgrading this to 2tb.
I just picked up a 2TB… from ali express. Lets see how it goes. If it helps, I’m planning my next video to be about how installing it actually improves the experience for me specifically and any positives or maybe negatives if my purchase goes incredibly wrong
@@20bowyer update from my last comment, I decided ill post the video tomorrow of me upgrading it so heres the link i used www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006571935214.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.23.566c1802FGjzlS
Great video man. I just picked mine up used for $350. I may upgrade to 2TB, but you make a good point on how many games can you actually play currently. I’d say 4 or 5 games at a time is good for me, so I might not upgrade at all.
I did end up upgrading to 2TB myself, i have a few videos on it but i just put out my reflections on having the device for 2 months. I think your enjoyment with the storage really depends on the games youre trying to play. I just got hitman 3 which has been fun along with marvel rivals while also keeping destiny 2 and a call of duty in the back just in case. The device has become my main hub for multiple types gaming sessions and it wouldnt have been possible without the upgrade th-cam.com/video/vc7c01hDi14/w-d-xo.html
Hey! I’m typing this message from my main channel! If you’re new here then welcome, i just want lay some expectations for you: - i called the channel tees wavy life because im a musician who actually just loves building a lifestyle where i can do things based on what authentically drives me. This includes gaming but also other things like tech, anime, self improvement/productivity… etc - therefore im not sure what this channel will become because im passionate about many aspects of my “wavy life” - if you like any content i put out then PLS let me know as it helps me decide what i focus on with this channel. - im still very focused on building my music career so when i have free time to work on this second channel, I just want to make best use of my time for you guys :) Thanks
Man I felt the same way took over a year to finally make my decision. Bought it at Best Buy during Black Friday deal. Initially I wanted an open box but within hours all were gone. So just got a new one which was still on sale. So far I’m happy. I don’t overdo it because I work a lot so when I’m home just an hour or two is all I need.
It's defo not Ps5 power but it's very good device to take outside. Maybe I'll do a comparison on how I see couch gaming vs Handheld gaming for you - if that would be helpful
I’m debating about this or a ps5 I want it because I could emulate all the classics or games from other consoles as well as play og games u can’t on ps5 like black ops and black ops 2 im a zombie fanatic lol and mod capability’s as u can’t really mod well on ps5
@ true I’ve decided on a rog but don’t know if I want this one or the x but man the x is double the price I’m trying to justify it but it’s crazy should I go wit the z1 e or the x ? Ik the z1e has people doing ram and battery upgrades but when u put the prize of both the z1e and upgrades it comes out to the prize of a ally x so having trouble deciding
For a new channel your vids are quality bro keep going
I really appreciate your comment, thank you 🙏🏾

Asus South Africa also has a great deal on these at R8999 which is around £394 or $504. It's the lowest I've seen it so also thinking of getting one.

Im thinking on buying the rog ally z1 extreme im a ps5 player wanting to make a switch to pc handheld
It's defo not Ps5 power but it's very good device to take outside. Maybe I'll do a comparison on how I see couch gaming vs Handheld gaming for you - if that would be helpful
Is there any ps5 games it can not play?
Nope. Not currently. All atleast minimum 30fps. But it's a 1080p screen. So it's easier to digest. Perfect for handheld experience.
In my country im getting a deal equvalent to 350 dollars, so i think imma get one for myself
Did you do it?

This is true, if you value older games then the should be perfect to use
PS5 does have the emulations on ps+ though

@@juansolorzano8823if u don’t mind carrying a powerbank, and can find a ally for cheaper, then get the normal ally, if you want convenience, ally x
