  • **This video is intended for entertainment purposes only; I am not a broker or an expert. I am making these videos to add content to my channel. This boat was damaged during Hurricane Ian, and is currently for sale for $150,000 at Safe Cove Boat Storage in Placida, Florida. I do not know the extent of the damage, any potential buyer should have a marine survey done and check with their insurer about coverage. Please contact Safe Cove Boat Storage if you're interested or have any questions.

I like the video. A friend of mine does the sand blasting in that boat yard.

That will be a nice boat for someone. Full width centerline berth aft master. Generator = a/c at anchor. Bow thruster. I might see a turbo on that Yanmar. That means it's a 75hp. Lot of real solid wood in that interior. All of that wood started going away just after 2008. There's a 2008 on YachtWorld for $285k

I agree it was really nice inside, felt spacious and bright unlike most sailboats I've been in. To be fair it is 47' though so it's pretty big for this side of Florida.

It has the shoal draft wing keel with a draft of 5.5 ft. It'd be perfect for Charlotte Harbor and beyond. Great to keep here and make the trip to the Bahamas.

@@ChasingLatitudes Ian happened not quite a year ago. Ian was the CAT 5 (for a short period) that came right where I live. Gave me a new roof and did a little damage to my Hunter. The Catalina 310 is probably the most common sailboat here.

Run, loose rig, if it fell over , rudder post and keel . Cheaper to buy something with a good survey, unless you got a place to keep it , lots of money and time. Hurricane damaged boats sold by marinias are usually written off by insurance which means it may be difficult to get insurance

Ladies and Gentlemen. This is one to walk away from. By the time you have invested the resources to inspect the systems and subsystems of the boat. You will find that there are no real solutions available to make your efforts pay off. It is a massive risk.

Real nice boat ! I am a sailor and I would buy it .probably offer somewhere in the 80 k . It would go fast . Part of the problem is it will always be a salvaged boat .

I think they send them to liquidator dealers. There’s a big one in fort lauderdal.
