I don't know why i feel a little bit relief with this video ... i have ADHD and am in medical school and i always thought i wouldn't go far... but you just gave me hope.. thank You for telling us ❤
this was really re-assuring to see a medical profession not be ashamed of having ADHD but rather adapting to make sure their lifestyle is in line with its struggles. I'm currently in medical school and as I head into my clinical years, I fear having ADHD might limit me from really giving my all to my career and studies. Due to only being diagnosed 2 years ago, I'm still trying to understand what my future looks like in terms of managing my ADHD to make sure that my career as a future medical doctor is one I can maintain happily and successfully. Listening to you speak so openly about it has given me some hope. If you have any tips on how you manage to retain the information and make it stimulating for you to remember, I'm all ears and I'd definitely listen to a podcast if you were to host one :))
I just wanted to say how much i love your videos! You really helped me prepare for a lot of my exams in med school and made my life easier a million times. Thank you and god bless u❤
We have the Dr Mike because of Dr. Mike's ADHD made it easy for him to teach and learn effectively. I hope, you get better in those areas you're still suffering.
as someone who stands somewhere in the autism spectrum this video just gave me power even if we don't have the same situation.. i have so much respect for you
My favorite professor of all time! In my 40s I made a difficult decision of going to to nursing school leaving my legal background behind. Professor Mike drilled anatomy and physiology to my mind so well that I enjoyed it very much. Why am I writing this? because I want to highlight how good he is with what he does. The fact of the matter is that we all lack strength in some areas of our life though we may not be given a diagnosis for our limitation.
Thank you for the inspiration! I am a med student withADHD who aspires to be a professor one day just like you so this was just the encouragement I needed! Thank you so much for your honesty and the brilliant med videos - OMG they have been my saving grace!
Your videos genuinely helped me qualify as a Paramedic a few years back and since then been diagnosed with ADHD too. Love the STRENGTH focus, as its so easy to focus on the negative! Keep inspiring ✨️
You're an exceptionally good lecturer. I recommend your lectures to my students all the time. You pare things down to the most coherent and easy to follow diagrams. There's nothing that an average student wouldn't understand. You teach better than many professors.
ADHD has likewise been a challange and sometimes a strength of mine. I'm usually either fully engrossed in an activity or in a semi-focused hazy rumination. Things that have helped me: - having lists 100% - exercise - meditative practices - having a strength-based attitude is essential. struggling with basic things that others take for granted like casually shifting attention between tasks or following chains of thought in large back and forth group discussions (I'm prone to checking out when I don't see direct relevance or am not really interested) puts you at risk of internalizing a sense of inferiority. A strength I realised I have over the years is my ability to draw connections b/w disparate concepts and an ability to appreciate concepts from a broad perspective which I think makes me a good explaininer + the passion and drive that I can tap into when I'm in touch with my interest has been very helpful
These tips really help especially for someone who's always struggling with time management and literally studying with your very helpfull videos in the 90s minute right now only because of stress , this really makes me feels better and I would love to watch a full podcast of it
I relate to so much of what you described, especially when it comes to how future events-like deadlines-feel so distant that I struggle to be productive or to get myself to work on them.. I have terrible time management, I’m bad at planning, and my ability to concentrate is either incredibly strong or nonexistent. I’m deeply passionate about the things I enjoy, but I have a hard time finding balance, creating structure, and sticking to a schedule. I’ve often wondered why I am this way and what it could mean. I’ve never been tested for ADHD, and I’m not trying to self-diagnose, but your video definitely made me feel less alone. Thank you for sharing and being so open!
Stuggling through my final year of college rn. I got of my adhd medication because it was making me eating habits really horrible but once I was off I relized I hadn’t actually had to deal with my ADHd without meds since freshman year of highschool. Videos like these have been so helpful in just keeping my life togehter and keeping me on track. Thank you
Mannn this is so cool to hear from you. I plodded through life until a couple of years ago when I realised I wanted to achieve in life. Its taken that to realise how much of a super power ADHD can be! Thank you for sharing this Mike! Its an inspiration for me.
doctor your video saved my life especially these days because now I'm working on an article about ADHD something that i struggled from for a long time & and almost cried yesterday because i don't like the fact that i have it, but now while seeing you talking about it like its a normal thing and its ok to have it and especially that i do the same thing that u do to relief our minds from the thoughts this really helps me to accept that in ma self , thank u so much doctor
This just made me cry tears of relief! As a mature student with ADD, learning anatomy and physiology has definitely proved to be challenging... and knowing I'm not the only one out there brings me a sense of calmness. I will get there! I love the energy you bring to your videos, it has helped me immensely!!
You got this!! Something that helped me study A&P was also shifting my “reason” for studying from trying to learn it for assessment to trying to learn it to teach others.
Thanks for sharing, Mike, thanks as always for your lectures that helped get me through my Intensive care Paramedic exams. I've often referred to my ADHD as my superpower, too, but it is a curse when I can't stop or can't sleep.
DR MIKE, YOU ARE A STAR. AN INSPIRATION FOR MILLIONS OF STUDENTS AND PROFESSIONALS. I LOVE THE WAY YOU TEACH. YOU ARE GOD GIFTED. IN MY 40 YRS OF MEDICAL LIFE YOU R ONE OF THE BEST RATHER THE BEST TEACHER WHO IS CAPABLE OF EXPLAINING TOUGH TOPICS WITH SUCH A SIMPLICITY THAT ONE NEVER FORGETS IT AGAIN. I WISH I COULD DO THAT. AND ADHD IS NOT A DISEASE, ITS A POWER IF YOU TAKE IT THE RIGHT WAY. GOD BLESS YOU PROFESSOR!!!!
I've become a huge fan of your videos since starting as a nqn in icu. Love this video - thank you for sharing . I'm pretty sure I am probably on the autism spectrum. Kind of had a light bulb moment after having two children diagnosed as being on the spectrum. It's definitely a strength at times, but it has also come with huge challenges. Awareness has helped me make a lot more sense of everything and has helped me to find ways to manage those challenges.
One way I’m able to stay focused is to imbue a task I otherwise don’t care about with some kind of emotional relevance. The way I do this varies, but my main technique is to say, “these are precisely the tasks that are supposed to cripple you and render you useless”. Something about the challenge of it is exciting, like the task is goading me into doing it. “You think I won’t do this task because it’s boring? I’ll show you!”
I’ve struggled with ADHD and short term memory deficits my whole life. I’ve finally come to terms that there are things I’ll always struggle with, but that is ok. I HIGHLY suggest reminder bracelets. They are plastic/rubber, you write on them with a normal ballpoint pen then slap them on your wrist. Then you simply wash the ink off in the sink with soap and a rag/paper towel. You can also use an alcohol swab and then it rinse under water. It’s incredible how just a few dollars have change my life for the better. They come in packs of 2 (or more) and they last a long time. I’ve had one since the beginning of nursing school and I’m a year in now. Still works great. They are perfect for writing down values, and simple reminders. Plus they are fun to play with when bored. They also act as a ruler on the other side. Such a great invention.
Oh wow, thank you for sharing Dr Mike 🙏. I wish you shared this information years ago, but absolutely understand why you kept it private. When I was studying Nursing at Griffith, I tried to tell some of the staff I was on the spectrum, but I am not sure they “got it”, so I pretended to be “normal” and struggle along like I had at School and in other situations in life. I almost told Dr Matt, as I felt he would understand, just by the way he teaches. I felt like the way you guys teach A & P and P & P is easy to understand. When you changed the learning from long lectures to short videos it was a game changer for my brain. Short bursts of information into videos with pictures, flowcharts, maps. It was easy to learn for my brain, and very enjoyable, because I knew my brain was not going to get overloaded quickly in a short period of time! I hope you do a video on ADHD. I make lists, not just daily, but several times a day. I work for a Nursing agency so I work at many different places. My brain never gets bored. I like to be told exactly what needs to be done, or I will get distracted by something pretty, or a dog 🐶. I don’t have many close friends because I’m brutally honest and I offend people without trying. But I love meeting my own kind, we can laugh for hours. I worked with a lady recently who was quite a bit older and openly on the spectrum. It was a great shift because we were brutally honest, but the other young girl from my agency was scared of her and hid for most of the shift! 😂💁🏻
Love these tips, thank you! I'm a 2nd year medical student with ADHD. Deep diving into topics I find fascinating is my kryptonite. I have a timer but the idea of constantly switching tasks is one I haven't considered before! I think it'll help me slowly whittle my list down instead of the all-or-nothing approach I use now! Sidenote--I've been watching your videos for years, since I first decided to switch careers in my 30's and become a physician. You have a gift for teaching and we are all so thankful. The way you explain things just makes sense to my brain--it's when the info sticks and now I know why :)
Thats why your brilliant on topics is because ADHDers and people on the spectrum think in pictures and can draw there thoughts. Youe drawings helped me in paramedic school because i think in pictures so if i couldn't figure out a cardiac cycle question id close my eyes and see your drawing
Thank you so much for sharing. This was extremely helpful. You're my favorite, and go-to for tutoring when I'm struggling with a subject in nursing school.
Thank you for sharing this, I have adhd I'm in medical school and your videos have helped me immensely. Thank you for dedicating your superpower brain to making these videos
I love watching your videos because you make biology interesting and fun to learn. Watching this video, i can relate to alot of what you're saying, im gonna try those tips out. Thank you 💜
Thank you so much for your videos, they give me more confidence when treating patients! I always carry a pocket notepad to write things like peoples names and likes/dislikes. People are more forgiving of all the other details I forget if I remember to about thier kids by name. I also like to pace for 5 minutes with only my thoughts, then study for 15 helps me absorb the study material.
Thanks for sharing. I have to try writing stuff down and triaging it the next day. I also have to try this timer and switching task. I need to be better on doing things I don’t love/things that are difficult to finish nursing school… I’m so close. Your videos helped me a lot when I was in A&P!
Thanks for this video from a fellow ADHDer. Your videos work for me because you explain things clearly with amazing visual aids. The hardest thing for me is my language processing. If the speaker is not engaging the way you are, I can't follow very well. The stress and anxiety of having to get something done works well for me. Because I can't gauge the time well I do all assignments way in advance.
I am exactly like you, I have to write down the list in my mind before I go to sleep, and I even "plan" away weeks and months ahead, just to clear my mind about the"many and many" thoughts and things to do. My struggle is that sometimes if I can't finish what I write down I get frustrated with myself. However, just like you mentioned, I found it helpful when I reevaluated it in the morning and prioritised all the tasks/lists during the day. I have heard the timer trick, I haven't really tried it, but keen to learn more about it. And, yes please, share more about your experience and how you become so brilliant!
This was exactly what I needed to hear right now. Thanks so much for your insight! ADHD is honestly such a burden in school. It takes a lot of re-wiring and experimentation to become a high-functioning student sometimes.
Thank you for sharing the helpful tips. I also agree that ADHD can be a strength! I always enjoy watching your videos, listening to your podcasts. I learn a great deal from them and I always clicked Like and gave 5 stars
Thank you Dr. Mike! I've never been diagnosed with ADHD, but my daughter has been. I actually came across an ADHD lecture and realized my daughter had everything that was described. And as I continued reviewing ADHD material, I realized I also had been living with ADHD, but I've done things in my life that allowed me to work around it, but I would have moments where I had pretty bad failures. I loved exercising which kept my mind focused for most of the day, and I usually took several extracurricular classes and work more than one job, this forced me to keep a schedule and follow it. But I was definitely always late. Now that you mentioned you stopped focusing on areas you needed to work on, I had come to a similar realization. I always wanted to focus on areas that were my worst subjects, like respiratory and nephrology, or work in areas that needed my complete focus at all times but were not interesting enough to keep my attention like robotic surgery (I'm a scrub nurse so I'm not controlling the robot-otherwise it would be very interesting). My issue is that if I wasn't given a good enough breakdown of how systems work or given enough time to really thoroughly break it down for my own understanding, I won't be successful. I decided to go into teaching because I love to explain subject matter to other people, and if it's an area I'm not very good at, I will look for supplemental material to help me understand to deliver it to others. Teaching also allows me to also focus on what I'm passionate about and I will work much like you 7 hours straight and not even realize that much time has gone by. That is the best advice I've heard, to focus on what is interesting to you. Because making ourselves focus on what is not interesting, it's hard to direct our focus towards it and maintain the focus. Thank you! And I love how you teach
broooo 🙌✨🎉!!!!! no ✨WONDER✨ i can actually pay attention to your videos!!! Thank you so much for creating content that neurodivergent people can understand and ingest 😭 🫀🦋~ i was SO confused why i loved your videos so much (not withstanding the SUPERB quality of your lectures and the immaculate drawings you include). I have watched your segment on the heart where you split a “cartoon” heart into four parts & labeled the right and left ventricles etc... THANK YOU for sharing about your ADHD with us. ✨We need brilliant advocates like you. ✨ THANK YOUUUU!!!!!!!! 🦋🙌🫀🧠🌻✨🎶🩺
I might be undiagnosed but this is the first time I heard someone say that they focus on one thing for 7 hours & bad with time management. I have never felt so heard. I guess I might have ADHD & the thoughts right before sleep, the inertia to start a new task, the stress to actually get to do something & procrastinate is unreal. I might need to get myself checked.. Thank you so much for sharing.
You are one of the best teachers I have ever encountered and I benefitted from what is clearly one of your strengths. So thank you for what you do. I have used the GAPS ( Gut and Psychology/ Physiology Syndrome) nutritional protocol created by Dr. Natasha Campbell McBride to help overcome my learning difficulties. Thank you for your clear teaching methods. Your mind works beautifully at this.
Hi professor Please do make more videos about adhd. I just recently got diagnosed with ADHD at my 50 years. I been trying to finish community college for the last 5 years and until now I can understand why my pattern of behavior. I’m not dumb or stupid, but it has always been a struggle to finish something. Like a said I’m a 50 years old student who is trying to get into nursing school and I have ADHD. thank you for your videos they had have help me tremendously.
I relate to this so strongly haha 😂 I’ve been thinking about trying to get a diagnosis recently. And I’ve realised that, just like you said, it’s much better just to focus on what you’re good at and interests you. Otherwise you don’t really get anywhere
That is so interesting ! As a mature Physiotherapy student now realising I certainly have some similarities all be it not a diagnosis but I also use a timer, it really does work, I can equally be the same with dead lines and diving into something 100% and time getting away with me constantly.
your videos have been so helpful as someone who doesn't understand science! You may know already but just incase look into Finasteride if you wan't to keep that hair incredibly effective and i'm sure you as a doctor can look into it if you like but just helping a brother out.
I also don't agree the term ADHD but resonate with the state. I can't sit still to study, it's very difficult, especially if I haven't gone for cardiovascular exercise beforehand. I think in primitive days I would have been a hunter/ gatherer. It is more in my nature to be moving, seeking, exploring, but alas modern culture requires we all have plenty of sedentary duties. Meditation and breathwork, yoga and plenty of exercise have all helped so much. Thanks for this personal, honest video and your more scholarly ones that are helping me get through my studies of nutrition.
Ohh but you really show true strength…. And your videos are awesome I learned a lot from your videos please can you make one on CNS means epilepsy, seizures, narcotics and hypnotics ….all those CNS related disorders and drugs I am preparing for upcoming OPHRA but I find CNS and related drugs difficult…please thank you
Thank you so much for sharing! please let us know if you have any other tips to share. I’ve already learned so much from your channel and would love to hear your thoughts, specifically on managing ADHD.
Hey Doc, just retired from 50 years in high tech. To survive in such a field, I made personal debug guides for anything that I was required to debug and fix. I also do lists. Cheers. Tom
it was helpful, use something along those lines too. Sticky notes are great too. I have clocks everywhere to help me remember time and two timers one for break and one for work =p.
Me too. I didn't know what it was as a kid and back in my home country, medicating people with ADHD is not a thing. I was absent minded so I did very poorly in my early childhood education days. My parents were frustrated. I could not think through anything that was complex but surprisingly I picked interest in music and self taught myself how to play the piano as early as 8years old. I later picked interest in Math and improved drastically in Math. Even though I still didn't pay attention in class, I believed more in studying by myself. I picked interest in sciences (except chemistry) and I did excellent but struggled with chemistry because I didn't like it so I wouldn't study it. I liked physics and loved biology. When I got into Nursing school, I shocked myself and everyone that knew me. It was while I was in Nursing school that I realized that I have had ADHD all my life. AND yes I agree with you that it's more of an attention/focus allocation issue than a deficient problem.
Hi Dr. mike ..I'm from India.. once tell me hello knw.. I'm.a pharmacology professor..for easy understanding..i just started to listen ur videos..but ..wat an explanation sir .. god of cology..❤ Hw u explain like this..really thanku ...thanku.but some times i was get to distracted for ur looks ..ur smile...then how ..hpwww...smile is awwwwwsome❤.ur plan of telling topics ..awesome...I love u ..from. india..this is pinky ❤..
Thank you , I work the same way as you 20 min max , then change activity or refocus . Can't stay fur too long on a project like grading . Never diagnosed , that was not a thing back in the 80's .
The list and triage is basically brain dump and then categorisation of most to least important. I do them with a voice recorder at night because my thoughts don't respect the fact that after brain dumping, I need to sleep so I want all the thoughts before I am under the blanket and so I just record them when I'm under blanket and then write them while listening to that in the morning. ❤
Well I'm Amazed to know that you have ADHD sir. I got Diagnosed with ADHD in 1st week of November 2024. I'm 18y/o now and this is how i got to know that i have ADHA so i am preparing for entrance examination and somehow my score was not improving i was trying my best but oneday my elders scolded me for poor weekly test results and they told me that i am not putting efforts and etc.. i was so depressed because of the statement that they told me that inwas not putting efforts because i know i was trying my best also i know their is something wrong with my study methods and me understanding my brain. I was so depressed and I felt like I gotta know that the answers to my questions are in front of me i took few tests on Google then i finally finally!!! Got the answers to everything i had ADHD well i know the answers to everything 😌 but my they don't wanna understand me and expect that i am Diagnosed with ADHD it hurts when you're family don't expect you as you r and they are like okay so everyone has ADHD ryt? Now i have stopped expecting that they will understand me its all on me i gotta do thing that will help me with adhd
I am a third-year dental student from Iraq. I do not like my field of work and consider it less than general medicine. I underestimate dentistry and any field other than general medicine and feel that all of its information is not important. General medicine is the best. This was my belief, and of course you are right, that you are a doctor of pharmacy, but I loved my studies because of your wonderful explanation, and God willing, my condition will improve. I will be a creative dentist❤❤❤❤ +I have attention deficit
Thank you for this video. I was diagnosed a couple of years ago but only because I was struggling in my Doctorate in Physical Therapy program. I ended up having to withdraw because it was an accelerated program, and I just couldn't figure out how to manage my time or how to study. I have since started and new program that is better suited for my learning style but still struggle with the amount of reading. Your videos have been extremely helpful with my visual learning skills but I'm curious if you have any tips or tricks for reading. Thank you for your time.
As a female with ADHD, for me anyway, it presents very differently. I'd love to hear a podcast on ADHD but please also consider female ADHD and what that looks like. A lot of women are only being diagnosed later in life. People need to understand why. Women tend to present very differently to men.
im a med student with adhd and i feel very seen! would love to hear any tips you have for managing adhd as a student. my #1 tip atm is creating fake deadlines for myself so that i can pressure myself to study. ex: i have 35 pages to read and 5 hours to do so, i give myself 7 pages to read per hour, so these 7 pages must be read before the clock changes. i also have to work according to my natural pace and difficulty of material. i get distracted a lot so I can't read let's say 10 pages per hour 🥲 I'm currently studying pre med material which sucks bc they don't interest me at all! they're just bases i need to cover before studying real medical material.
I am like you, but I have autism to a certain %. I will concentrate on 1 little thing & it will "fester" in my mind while everything else is ignored. Lists have helped. Yes, a list on a paper post-it note. It's a simple way to remind me b/c the list is always in the same place on kitchen counter or frig., similar to my keys/wallet/glasses are in their place. Structure breeds structure.
I knew it, the way you move your hands while explaining the topic. That was the only reason I could understand your videos and nobody else's 😂
You have a point
I know exactly!!
Same 💕
I don't know why i feel a little bit relief with this video ... i have ADHD and am in medical school and i always thought i wouldn't go far... but you just gave me hope.. thank You for telling us ❤

You would never know your struggles. I still think it just enhances your genius. Keep smiling you give great gifts. 🙏
Thank you for sharing. Such courage and preparedness to be vulnerable. Love the advice of focussing on strengths and managing weaknesses. Inspiring.
ADHD can be a strength! And you sure make it work. Thank you for all your amazing videos. They have helped me so much! ❤🙏
Almighty bless you DrMike ,

You are simply adorable in everything. I watch your videos because it is impossible not to watch. Thank you.
I appreciate hearing this. Because I needed it to regain my drive on getting things done. Its annoying waxing and waning
You're my favorite, and go-to for tutoring when I'm struggling with a subject in nursing school.
thanks for sharing!! It's cool to know someone who is so knowledgeable and well-spoken also occasionally struggles with ADHD.
Thank you 💜
Totally impressed Dr Mike this will help a lot of people and help me understand a close friend of mine a lot better thanks
You show true strength. Take care!
Everyone should engage in things they are good at. Isn't that what we refer to as competence?
broooo 🙌✨🎉!!!!! no ✨WONDER✨ i can actually pay attention to your videos!!! ✨
THANK YOUUUU!!!!!!!! 🦋🙌🫀🧠🌻✨🎶🩺
Thank you for sharing your story and tips Dr. Mike. f
rom Texas, USA with love.
Thats why you teach so well!! Thank you for sharing Mike!!!!
god bless you dr , we are here to support you ❤
I feel blessed to learn from you ..i have been follow you since 2 years and i learn alot from you thanku
Thank you for sharing, I still LOVE YOU just the way you are. I think that is the beauty in you. 🙏🙏
its so comforting to know that other people also experience this☺
thank you for this information and tips.
Much love Dr. Mike, you inspire me and many more !
Thanks for this video Sir
Thanks for the tips, and i must say i love your personality, hope everything stays well for you ❤
You are one of the best teachers I have ever encountered and I benefitted from what is clearly one of your strengths.
Hi professor
Please do make more videos about adhd.
I feel you on this. I am 54 years old and in school.
Thank you for the tips❤!!
I relate to this so strongly haha 😂 I’ve been thinking about trying to get a diagnosis recently. And I’ve realised that, just like you said, it’s much better just to focus on what you’re good at and interests you. Otherwise you don’t really get anywhere
God bless u u r amaizing❤I knew we were share something that’s why I understand only your explanation
That is so interesting ! As a mature Physiotherapy student now realising I certainly have some similarities all be it not a diagnosis but I also use a timer, it really does work, I can equally be the same with dead lines and diving into something 100% and time getting away with me constantly.
You are a big inspiration for lot of poeple with ADHD 😀😀😀😀😀 With big love from munich Germany
Appreciate this video a great deal!!!
Thank from heart , that is very helpful
Very helpful. I’m the same way. I don’t have a diagnosis per se but I figured this is possibly an issue u have.
Thank you! Similar just learning tips and tricks
your videos have been so helpful as someone who doesn't understand science!
Thanks for this personal, honest video and your more scholarly ones that are helping me get through my studies of nutrition.
what honesty and openess about ADHD:)
Ohh but you really show true strength…. And your videos are awesome I learned a lot from your videos please can you make one on CNS means epilepsy, seizures, narcotics and hypnotics ….all those CNS related disorders and drugs I am preparing for upcoming OPHRA but I find CNS and related drugs difficult…please thank you
Thanks for the tips. Shoutout from Trinidad 🇹🇹
Cheers. Tom
Great explanation mate, hopefully this will explain things to others. Looking forward to the hints and tips.
it was helpful, use something along those lines too. Sticky notes are great too. I have clocks everywhere to help me remember time and two timers one for break and one for work =p.
I believe I have it too Doc and I agreed to everything you've said
Thank youuu❤
Hi Dr. mike ..I'm from India.. once tell me hello knw..
I'm.a pharmacology professor..for easy understanding..i just started to listen ur videos..but ..wat an explanation sir .. god of cology..❤
Hw u explain like this..really thanku ...thanku.but some times i was get to distracted for ur looks ..ur smile...then how ..hpwww...smile is awwwwwsome❤.ur plan of telling topics ..awesome...I love u ..from. india..this is pinky ❤..
Thanks so much for the tips. Please post more videos re; ADHD. Anything helps!
I will be a creative dentist❤❤❤❤
+I have attention deficit
Women tend to present very differently to men.
yesss 23 and just got diagnosed recently
@suksuk5191 that's great you have been diagnosed so early. I was 41. My ADHD was causing me a lot of anxiety for many years. Fixed now with meds.
Dr Gabor Mate has a great podcast on exactly this
You are the best ❤
Please make a podcast! I could totally tell that you were one of us. 😂
I am a doctor too
And have maladaptive daydreaming 😢
But the difference that I am still student
I am afraid that it affected my studies 😢
😂I felt as if I’m the one talking
wow, at this point 85% of the people I follow and admire are openly ADHD (I am too) wild.
im a med student with adhd and i feel very seen! would love to hear any tips you have for managing adhd as a student. my #1 tip atm is creating fake deadlines for myself so that i can pressure myself to study. ex: i have 35 pages to read and 5 hours to do so, i give myself 7 pages to read per hour, so these 7 pages must be read before the clock changes. i also have to work according to my natural pace and difficulty of material. i get distracted a lot so I can't read let's say 10 pages per hour 🥲 I'm currently studying pre med material which sucks bc they don't interest me at all! they're just bases i need to cover before studying real medical material.
yes can you do a podcast with more tips?
A surgery professor of me told I might have ADHD..I thought of getting checked and I was found to be clear of ADHD..
Can you make a video where you show us how to measure blood pressure
Love from Philippines 🇵🇭
