SEA OF THIEVES
Sea of Thieves is a pirate-themed action-adventure cooperative multiplayer game played from a first-person perspective. The game features cross-platform play between Windows-based personal computers and Xbox One video game consoles. A group of players travel and explore an open world via a pirate ship and assume different roles such as steering, hoisting sails, navigation, and firing cannons. Players embark on quests, collect loot and engage in combat with other players. Sea of Thieves is a shared game world, which means groups of players will encounter each other regularly throughout their adventures. The game has a cartoonish art style and an exaggerated physics engine that allow players to perform stunts, like being shot out of ship cannons.
Shores of Gold
1: First you will need to head to “Morrows Peak Outpost” then speak to Gracie, then vote for the mission located to the left of her.
2: Watch the video and follow the same route that I take, to reach the shores of gold you will need to have the shroudbreaker attached near the wheel.
3: Once you arrive it is important to park up close to where I do, this will be important for later steps
4: You will be looking for 4 vaults, one located on each side of Tribute Peak (shores of gold)
One will be located to the South, West, North and East. Follow the paths I take in the video for the easiest route. You will complete the vaults in this order
South Vault (use the markings in the book to find the unique symbols to each pedestal)
West Vault (usually the markings are the same put them in in this order from left to right. Kraken, Shark, Turtle, Flame)
East Vault (You will need to input the key that is located in the centre, place the base on the right with the tip on the left)
North Vault (input the similar symbol between all 4 statues, don’t die by the spikes)!
(tip move your boat to make things easier)
5: Once you have completed all the vaults place the medallions in the location I show in the video then grab the gold coin that opens to the left
6: Enter the statue and you will have to head down and dodge some traps, there are checkpoints through this whole process so don’t worry
7: Take on the gold hoarder and defeat him to unlock the skull (you have officially complete the quest)
8: (optional) take the skull to any order of soul for a 10k reward

there is a second entrance to the compass vault on the far side of that particular titan. It is a ladder entrance from the water. Much more efficient I think anyway

Very good Video! Just one thing.. You can bring the medallions to the door even faster. Just take the boat to the rock directly at the cave entrance and jump over the mast on the rock, then you are directly at the cave entrance.. :)

So what did you think about the tall tales quests, what is your favourite? Think the SoT team will add anymore?
Synicall honestly they’re so hard to complete (for some people) I get many questions regarding the very first Tall Tale asking where this and where’s that. It took me about 10-15 minutes to complete the first one. They say it took them almost an hour. Rare needs to make these way easier if they do add more and I think they will 😤 (pure sarcasm, but the people asking questions real)
My favourite is art of a trickster it was fun as well as shores of gold

When doing the South Vault, look at it this way. Each circle in your book represents 1 code; 3 circles, so 3 different codes. Going from left to right, the circles are codes 1,2, and 3. All the symbols in the left circle are for the 1st code, the middle for the 2nd, right for the 3rd. Keep turning the blocks until all symbols in a circle are shown across the blocks EXCEPT for 1 you can count out because you can only see 3/4 of the symbols per code. You have to do this 3 times for each one of the circles.
The circles don't represent columns, they represent a code you have to unscramble onto the 3 columns. Pretend the symbols are like numbers.
If the left circle isn't always the 1st code, each circle still represents a code, just in a different order.

I tried to elaborate as well as I could. Each circle with symbols in it is a code you to put on the blocks. 3 circles = 3 codes
Go to the first block on the left side of the room, look at all the symbols in the first circle in the book, then flip the block to a symbol that's also in the circle. Then you go to the next block and flip it to another symbol from the circle, do the same thing on the 3rd block. You should've used 3 symbols from the circle; 3/4, because one of the blocks doesn't move at all.
After 3/4 symbols from the 1st circle are represented on the block you press the button to enter it. If it's wrong there could be a block with 2 symbols from the circle. You need to adjust and play around from here.
What sucks is that you have to do this 3 times under pressure.

There’s an easier way to transport the medallions. From the bay next to the statues go under the big bridge or arch thingy and go left. Follow the rocks on the sides and you should see a ladder after a few seconds. Climb up the ladder and you can find the path to the room. Good luck hope this helps (:

8:26 This is actually not the only way up :) there is a much much shorter path if you park your boat on the other side of the bridge island. (when crossing the bridge over, look right, thats where you need to be) there's a ladder up the side of the rocks :) it saves a LOT of running. hope this helps
I finally finished it but I got stuck in between to rocks and lost the skull on the way out lol but I appreciate the help
There is more than one way up to the compass vault, there is a ladder that you can take at the north end of the compass vault so you don’t have to walk across half of the island.

can also walk off your bowsprit on the south part.
The first vault is in this order ,Sword bear octopus, mermaid boat snake, turtle scareb octopus
The guides were awesome, I followed them to a T and knocked out the first two. No one ever mentioned that you have to complete these three back to back, as I didn't have time to start and finish the last Tale. 😖 Also, for me the Ancient Chest didn't have the 'sparkle' effect, took a minute to find it.
The way to the place where you get the gold coin isn't the fastest. You can position your boat at the side of the island on the left of the last spot where your boat will be. If you do it right you can walk to the island from your boat. (If you found the right spot you don't even need the boat, you can get up there from the water but it's faster to use the boat)
Can you replay the quest once finished or do you have to start from part 1 getting the shroudbreaker

My friend and I did this last night it took like 2 hours 30 mins it wasn’t that hard just walking around the island took forever
Ruyguy15 if you bring a empty chest and a mate who knows the island a bit then you can knock out the top part of the island in about 30-40 minutes

The other day, I randomly spawned near the gold hoarder after getting killed while fighting Briggsy. Now that I see how hard it is to go there the usual way, I feel pretty lucky

I spawned there after getting killed by a skelli ship. As I was quite new to the game at that point I thought that I got cursed by the skeleton ship or something and had to fight my way out in order to be able to respawn properly. Now I feel stupid

You can just stand on the corals behind the pillars in the north vault 😉

There is a shorter way to the Golden coin, Park your ship north of the little island, and on the east side of it between the place of the golden coin and the kraken vault is a ladder that leads you up the island

Dunno if you still need this but you can climb up the rocks right next to the vault entrance from the water, just a tip.

There is actually a shortcut to the vault. To your right after you cross the wood bridge over the arch, there is a small path leading to a ladder leading down to the water. park your boat there, and your medallion ferrying job is much faster. It can be seen at about 8:38
Dont forget to gett a tresure chest (openeble ones) they really help when placing coins or stone circles with some painting on them
Just did my shores of gold (with your guide so thanks btw) but on the way there the shroudbreaker didn't glow and stuff but I still made it fine but at the end the door after I had defeated the gold horder didn't open and I was stuck but I think the skull got sold automatically but I never got the announcement or the thing that shows you how much gold its worth
There’s a secret shortcut ladder behind the rocks where u parked ur boat for the last time, go under the plank bridge and keep the rocks on your left and you’ll find it. It cuts transporting the medallions to the final room by years Id ur slooping

Hey so I found another way up onto the final resting place for the medallions on the opposite side of where your boat was. It’s a ladder going up from the water.

How do you create a server to play with more than 3 friends?
@@elmagodragon you cant create servers in sea of thieves but you can use a brigatine (ship) to play with up to 3 people or a galleon (ship) to play with up to 4, a sloop is to play with 2 people or solo

for the gold coin, there is a large rock that you can swim up on and walk to, up the rock and right in front of the vault you will be.

I need help! We(3 guys) finished the first shores of gld mission. After that we went to the guy where we started it to start the second one, but it starts the first mission again, even though we already finished it. How can we play the second one?

2 things
1. there is a ladder to speed up placing the medallion
2. Sword lunge into the statue to pull the lever
9:14 so I went to the door with the key but for some reason it was already opened, does that mean someone is already there, is it glitched, I don’t want to do one if it’s glitched
I hope he realises at 8:35 that you can move the boat up straight to an opening in the rocks by the key holder and skip the long walk making it only a few seconds
Also you can sword dash off a cliff onto the vault statue and it’s way easier

All I need to find is the Western alter. You're referencing your sloop when you show where it is but I have no idea where on the island your sloop is 😂
if your doing it solo bring a chest you can finish the part where you place the medallions a lot quicker
there is a ladder you can take from the water on the side of the island of the vault so you don't have to run around and take the bridge
i dont get that north vault you say to put the similar symbols 4 times on all four statues, but dont get the similar symbols
You can use your ship as a more efficient method of moving the things

The north vault spikes literally killed me so ,any times when they were underground
You see, there are 4 shroudbreaker stones, but were did u get all 4?
I only count 3 in the quests,
1. Stars of a Thief
2. Art of a Trickster
3. Revange of the Morningstar

You can skip the long way bringing the 4 medalions... There is an opening right next to the cave where you place them... from the place where your ship is look NE and there you'll see some plam trees. Park your ship next to it and climb up onto your crows nest, jump on your mast beam think and jump over the rocks there
or you could just walk up the rock at that spot

I finished all this In one sitting because i am still not sure if progress saves after I looked it up it said progress doesn’t save between sessions so did I sit for 22 hours straight for no reason?
The Goldhoarder is a little bit disappointing. Do u think that rare will add attacks if u write to them? I mean they done this with the Kraken too

I can’t seem to find a committed crew of good people to sail towards the Shores of Gold with, once the time has come for another lowly pirate such as myself to attain the curse and join the frey of legends. Perhaps *one day.*

I killed the Gold Hoarder and got the skull but I DIED TO THE LAST SKELETON AND THE GAME THOUGHT I WAS FINISHED SO THEY LOCKED EVERY DOOR AND I NOW IVE SPENT 2 HOURS FOR NO REWARD!! i cant anymore

Just leave one skeleton so they don’t respawn
