Well, the release of the EG Nu was probably to set this release up instead of reusing the (on paper) outdated HG, you may even say that the EG Nu was made for this. All things considered, they did well with engineering the Long Range Fin Funnel and making a representation of the Nu Gundam statue you could get on the cheap. However, the kit doesn't really do well when it comes to "play".

these entry grades go crazy
Crazy good in terms of how they come together. However, they still suffer from longevity issues
I just got that Exclusive EG Kit for double it's JP price but at least I got to experience building an EG kit for the first time it sure is fun and very easy to build specially the Fin Funnel. Could agree with your verdict of this kit and I really enjoyed your reviews.
It's sadly not all good. I've seen some others that have a floppy cannon mode and shoulders too weak to support the arm-mounted config. But, it looks great and easy to build, so I guess that's a necessary compromise for the price.

Was trying to not tell the same story twice. Besides, not everyone likes the Katoki proportions. And yes, the engineering and aesthetics put into this kit were great, but the playability is not the best.
Really wish they put that kinda effort into hgs

the most bandai thing is that the first and only entry grade with open hands is a gundam base exclusive

A shame he lacks the rifle and shield but that's to maintain accuracy to the statue.
It's just an anime interpretation of the statue, and only just

Yeah, I was tempted to get this one but then I saw the RG was available from where I'm from I figured I'd get that since I wanted the rest of the weapons

With RG - yup, its possible, with EG - not really, unless you'd opt for some serious backpack modification (cutting parts and cementing them later)...

Are you going to be reviewing the HGUC Blue Destiny Unit 2, or 3 anytime soon? I have both of them and they're pretty decent kits I have. I would like to hear your opinion on either of those kits.
Not "anytime soon", and I do have a very old video on the BD Unit 2. Though I wanna redux it someday since so many were asking for it. I'll pick up the Unit 3 sometime before leaving for immigration
I’ve got an Idea if you have the RG RX-93FF: HWS Nu with Beam Saber Holsters on Both arms 6 regular Fin Funnels and 1 Long range Fin Funnel, Two shields to maximize Firepower, Hyper Bazooka Launcher, and Hyper Bazooka just to top things off, ULTIMATE NU GUNDAM
That's just slapping everything on without any efficiency. Practically speaking, it'd be hard to use. We've had examples of armament configurations that try to do everything, and it didn't end well practically

Exia. It's in dire need of an upgrade in 1/144 scale. Yes yes, the RG is a thing, but what about for those on a budget? EG.

@@williamsusanto8082 limited articulation, dodgy looks, dated color separation. While still a good basis for Build kits like the Amazing Exia and Dark Matter, the root kit itself doesn't hold up today
