Super late commenting this but Taylor's bio and personality points also give off pleasure sim because she is waiting for her dad and boyfriend to take care of her so she can just focus on partying. And if you pop into her boyfriend's house, they are not well off at all (at the moment) so it's odd she wants her BF to work for money for her but she doesn't want to do it herself. 😭
This neighborhood is definitely well done! But I found a bunch of pleasantview character files in simpe. I have clean and empty templates installed so unsure why that was.
Wow, Opening Valley is genius! I’ve always wondered what the stories are behind those Sims and now we get to see. :) Looking forward to binging these!
Congratulations on getting this video out! Doing facecam for the first time is really scary I know, but I agree that it really adds when you can see the person playing. It does get easier!! Also your expression when you went to say their surname the first time was hilarious 😅 And we wouldn't have gotten that without the camera.

Final thought - it was actually such a joy to see these Sims from that intro that I've seen so many times!!! Now I kind of want to check out this hood, lol!
@@TeaAddict aw thank you so much, I’m really glad you liked it🥰 and yeah we’ll have to see what he chooses, getting more financially stable would be sensible but I’m not sure that he is a sensible person😂 It’s really amazing to see so much life brought to these sims so I do recommend it
Ah I love your playstyle with the breaking down homework based on school interest. I had a similar struggle with wanting to honor wants but certain sims it felt wrong to force it, others made sense to. Will definitely be adopting that from you! Might also have to watch the video you referenced of determining aspiration, I've always just gone with a random dice roll since it seemed redundant to follow their "genetic aspiration"

I'm so in for this LP! I love that your playstyle is so thorough but at the same time entertaining to watch. And your interpretations of the Sims and the decisions you make based on their character and are spot on. Also I don't mind at all that the videos are gonna be longer, I enjoy them even more like this. You are definitely one of my favourite simmers - I am looking forward to the next part! ♥

I was actually planning on doing a video on my Veronaville so I’m so glad to hear that🥺 I’m currently on my 10th round (going really slowly because I’ve got a load of building to do atm) but once thats done I was going to do a ‘Veronaville 10 rounds later’ video and then perhaps periodical updates after that! I love the concept of playing these families: they are familiar but I don't know much about them, so I really look forward to seeing your take on the rest of them too. It was great to see you go with the flow, according to the sims' wishes and personalities. It was also great to see you work with the mods. Speaking of mods: Simler has a homework mod that makes the sims put it down on a desk that is closest to their bed. And, if there is none available, they will instead put it down on the kitchen table. Just in case you don't want the homework on the floor: just let me know if you want a link and I'll write it in your discord 🥰 As for the length, I could have kept watching for much longer. For my taste, this was a short video, so don't be afraid to make them even longer, I would say 😊 I'll be looking forward to the next one ❤ P.S. Also, I'm so impressed by the mods you are creating. I was very inspired by the wonderful style of your lets play. I have heard of that homework mod by Simler90, at the moment I’m using Mog’s desk locator instead, because in my usual games every child & teen gets a desk with the locator (a picture of themselves) on it or on the shelf above and it works a treat, but maybe in more cramped and poorer households like this, having them put it on the kitchen table with that mod might be more realistic and helpful! So I’ll definitely consider that, thanks. I did hesitate to cut the video short but I worry that the length of both parts together would have put too many people off, and I’m so slow at editing that it might mean I can get content out more if I upload the first part of a recording session when I’m ready and edit and upload the rest later. I think I’ll be recording the next household tomorrow so I’ll see how it goes! Really nice to know that you’d have been up for watching even more though🥰💖

You're so welcome! Yeah without it, Romeo & Juliette and Hermia & Puck had the biggest repulsion possible from conflicting star signs which just didn't seem right at all.

And PS- I don’t think you need an adjuster on the lot for ACR to work so that’s how you got that glorious cut scene. Honestly there’s nothing I love more- one of my favorite gameplay moments ever was getting a cut scene out of NOWHERE of two lesbian dormies having their first kiss. Iconic.

Lol when I first started reading this I almost got offended because it takes me just as long to edit as it would if I chopped big chunks out but I’ve realised exactly what you mean, that I don’t chop much gameplay out and allow my videos to be long, so I really appreciate it. I know it’s not for everyone so I’m so glad you like it. For me I find heavily chopped ones to be more like montages of the highlights rather than the actual lives of the sims. So sweet of you to say about my voice too🥰 thank you

@@ClaireFionaBarbucci haha I know what you mean. I tend to sit and play for a long time off camera but it’s certainly draining having to keep up appearances and keep talking, but then I do really find that I’m so into it that I can’t stop talking then don’t want to cut it out!

if it's not too cumbersome can you make a tutorial on how to download and organize the traits mod? I really wanted to use it in my game but there are so many links! that confuses me a bit 🙃
That's understandable. I was actually about to make a video on it a while ago, I had planned out all my talking points and links and everything...then at that time CozyPixels released a video on it which made me lose motivation to do it. I highly recommend her video: th-cam.com/video/ru0t0k9jU2Q/w-d-xo.html. But I may still do my own video on it eventually one day so I can give my own take and tips and tricks on it too :) Good to know its something you'd be interested in but for now feel free to ask any followup questions after watching CozyPixel's vid.

Looking forward to this series! Out of interest how did you fix the community time mod? Sometimes my game does that and I didn’t realise you could exit the game and then come back again :)
I’m so glad! Yeah honestly I’ve never gotten to the bottom of what causes it but it’s not that big of a deal. Since the game essentially autosaves when you get back from a community lot, deleting the token then quitting the game without saving will mean when you open it back up, you load the save that automatically happened when you got back but the token and therefore the timer is working. You might even be able to just quit to neighbourhood and not have to completely reload your game. Hope that helps :)
How do you delete the token?
@@_P_a_o_l_o_ by having boolprop testingcheatsenabled true and when the error message pops up, resetting usually doesn’t work so by pressing delete instead

I was translating all the names and everything else on this Neighborhood to Portuguese so I can start playing. As soon as I fix all the playables memories, i'll be playing. Does anybody know if there's a subhood version available to download?
Yep there are some problems with the memories, I’ve improved some but not all. I’ve not come across a subhood version no
