Sims 2 Tutorial: All the Best Cheats + a userStartup.cheat File

In this video I teach you all of the cheats I use for The Sims 2, most of which aren't really 'cheaty' as there are many much more to do with utility, management, unlocking advanced tools and even enhancing the game's capabilities and visuals. I also teach how to either make or install a userStartup.cheat file so that you can have some cheats automatically and permanently enabled at all times, and some with custom shorter codes so they're easier to remember and less time consuming to type.

i did not know you could add a rotate cheat and use the arrow keys to rotate objects, also the ctl f is a god send cause i meant to add it to my cheat file instead of typing the whole thing but i couldn't be assed haha so thanks

47:06 you can also select the Design Tool in the game and it will remove the floor grid in Build and Buy Mode :)

Has anyone tried using the Load Lot cheat on occupied apartments? Cause that would change everything.
Also, a good example for why someone would force errors with the batbox is when the community time mod doesn't work for whatever reason. When it stuff up I force all errors on off world (I just put it in a comment because I feel like most people don't know this fix :) )

@@pinksalt577 I don’t know if the load lot cheat works for occupied apartments, but its a good idea!
I find that if the community time project doesn’t work as I expect when the sims return home, I just quit to neighborhood without saving because the game autosaves as soon as the home lot loads so usually they return delayed properly after a reload and nothing is lost.

I didn't know the simdna cheat. Being a very picky Sims baby breeder, often closing the household 20 times unsaved to get the DNA and personality combination I want, I am so going to use this cheat to also check if the resessive genes get to live in the next generation.
And a tutorial how to rename the household would be helpful. Right now I always make sure I have only one household with an unique name, so I can still use the familyfunds cheat.
