The queue area is shocking and not up to Disney standards at all. It’s embarrassing and sad to be honest to see it the way it is lately. 6 years and that’s the finished product it’s not good enough 😤 I don’t think they realise how big Epic Universe is going to be. Universal are coming and they’re not going to stop expanding all their parks. Thanks for your honest review!

I was in the oversized seat, which is more of a traditional rollercoaster seat. So much more comfortable... but I remember thinking as I rode around the circle outsize how much I wanted to scream, "Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas!" I felt like Santa Clause.
I've now ridden Tron twice and I can now say it's on my Top 5 favorite roller coasters in Florida. Pretty much all the criticisms you've pointed out has never happened to me and as for the dirt and stuff, honestly thought it was part of the theming. Hand prints on the glass is a common thing on other attractions and wasn't distracting to me. Lockers worked completely fine for me, no issues. The food honestly looks good and different from what they sell at Magic Kingdom, I never get disappointed with MK food so I would definitely try what you describe as "Animal Poop" like seriously? Do you realize how many food out there looks like poop and people would eat that because even though the texture may look gross, the food itself is still really good. Then you complain about the characters in the ride looking like PS2 or PS3 graphics...um that's the point...the ride is mostly based on Tron Legacy...that movie was released during the PS3 era. Honestly Disney did an amazing job replicated video game graphics from 10+ years ago. Then the ride itself when I rode it, it was very comfortable and there have been more uncomfortable seats and lapbars on other roller coasters then this.
Its not always the graphic designers fault, those who approve the designs will say this is what they want us to and what we are allowed to use. Unfortunately that is probably a mix of disney and enterprise and the unfortunate command chain. That food looked like something you would find in the toilet.
I'm 5'8 240 (I know, I have to do something about that) I didn't have any issues fitting in the ride, nor did I have any pain from riding. I think the ride is fun, even though it's short. The queue is not the world of Tron, its a lab that sends you into the world of Tron, so it should have that real world industrial aesthetic that leads to the pristine digital world. At least that's how I interpreted it.
That's exactly what I thought the whole queue was like, I also didn't feel uncomfortable on the ride and I absolutely loved it. The ride being short isn't a big deal to me because roller coasters are typically the same duration.
I rode the ride in preview. I am 5 foot 9 and about 195 pounds. I was able to ride comfortably. I can see how the ride can be uncomfortable for some depending on their size. I thought the ride was great but short. I didn’t notice the defects in the que area but it’s outdoors and subject to weather. Just my thoughts
@@KevinHeimbach Exactly. Disney is trying to take shortcuts and that is not good. I mean quality is what set Disney apart from other places. Even though they are small things, they should be taken care of as they do matter.
Yeah. I also found it uncomfortable. I rode it during the AP previews and our vehicle was stuck a few minutes after the ride, waiting for clearance to continue. That’s where I really felt pressure on my rib cage and realized how uncomfortable the rode position is. Maybe it would help if there was a little more padding where you rest your torso, not sure. But definitely agree that the weird riding position can cause discomfort.
Just found you as a continent creator! Love it, some actual truth about Disney. We are Local Floridians, refuse to go to Disney. We have Universal, Seaworld& Busch Gardens, Legoland& Pepa Pig, and Brevard Zoo ANNUAL PASSES. Disney is zero fun for us, food is terrible, lines are so long, reservations & genie+ (no!) they don’t care about locals (or their employees) and are still refusing to sell anything but Pixie Pass. WE PASS!! Everyone else can have our money. Thanks for telling the truth!!
Thank you Kevin for your honest review, it's always appreciated. I was fortunate to ride during cast member previews, and noticed the discomfort of the gritty handle bars. Oh and the lady that stuck her tongue out at you (time mark 3:20) made me laugh! 😆
So enterprise wants to sponsor Tron. As advertisement. For their car rental business…shall we assume it will take 5 years for them to have our car ready??
My family and I went on tron a few days ago. I am someone who has back problems and joint problems I found my joints hurt after riding but the most pain for me was my hands on the handles. None of the males on my family said it hurt them like you buy I honestly never thought to ask
Iger’s legacy? The loser, who destroyed an Evergreen brand….Another HUGE miss, as this feels NOTHING like Tron…I wasn’t immersed in an environment, and it was “just” a coaster.
Tbh seeing the way the disney park is falling apart and changing so much makes me sad and happy at the same time the last time I was there in 2012 during the may the 4th event
My goodness who the hell sat around during a meeting and thought that the food selection for Tron was a good idea? It looks so gross. Wow Tron is Dirty on the outside 🤢 As far as the ride, we went during DVC previews and my husband and I loved it. None of us had any pain or was hurting afterwards thankfully. That's what I was really worried about after hearing reviews about pain. I'm 5'6 and 190 pounds and my husband is 5'10 and 213. I felt nice and snug in the seat and felt comfortable. And wow! Thanks for showing us back row, you can see a lot of the beautiful elements from it. That's a shame about the monorail sign being broken. I swear, it's all gone a little downhill since we worked there in 2010. Great video as always 👏🏻👏🏻
The content creators are probably paid by Disney to say good things. I’ve never heard ANY OF THEM criticize ANYTHING. especially the people who live stream inside the park.
looking at this as an outsider; Disney parcs might have been on top once with the details and theming but from what I've been seeing they do a really poor job now. The way the parc looks, the food, the stuff that's dirty or broken. I have no stake in this and haven't been to a theme parc in like 7 years, but Universal all the way for me xp
Rode it on 3/27/2023, front bike. 6ft 185 lbs, zero discomfort except for having to crane my neck up to look around from the riding position. Grip knurls will be better in about a year when they wear out from use. The launch is cool, the rest of the ride is pretty meh, th e visuals and the story are unwatchable from the front. Definitely waaaaay too short. The ride structure in the que looks looks poorly made, already showing wear and wrinkles and it’s brand new. Definitely gonna need to be redone in short time. I don’t understand the Tron ride placement honestly. Seems like it would fit better in Epcot really. Most kids don’t even know what Tron is anyways. To sum it all up, go ride Guardians of the Galaxy instead, it is an infinitely better ride!
This is my first vid from your channel, and I have to say BRAVO 👏👏👏. Honest opinions, not holding back. I was a yearly ten days vacation trip for years until I got tired of the price increases. My last visit was about ten years ago. I am planning on going this year(I am not getting any younger). But frankly, the new rules regarding park reservations and the 2:00 Cooper limitation are really putting me down. Still, I might give it a try. You got a subscriber here 🙋♂️. Thank you for your honesty. With the whole tape thing to see if you fit, it’s pathetic kinda. Six Flags Great Adventure has a way better system, it has the red and green indicator but it isn’t a light it’s just a little thing on the side of the seat that a team member has to look at to see if you fit. I haven’t been to Disney since Frozen Ever After opened, when I met the best Bob the company had. It’s sad to see that the park is going down hill, hopefully Tiana’s ride is great.
This is why I like your content - it's not a love fest. I look at those small things myself. It's the attention to detail - I'm sure as time progresses, they will fix these things.
Speaking of uncomfortable rides, I can’t ride in Seven Dwarves without my legs getting completely squished by the lap bar - pain level of 7/10 riding the damn thing, trying to brace for the turns. Gonna be honest, I’ll probably ride this once for the experience, but I’m not looking forward to it.
I'm just a casual viewer who doesn't give a crap about Disney, but this review seemed incredibly biased towards giving a negative review from the very first second. :,)

To be honest, I saw your review the other month of Tron and just got back from my trip last weekend, and I enjoyed the ride. I went in with low expectations, and I thought the ride being only 1 minute worked fine for it. I enjoyed most of the que when you get digitized, and it reveals the ride I thought was a cool incorporation of the actual ride into the que. I so agree the pictures of the different teams are kinda cheesy I did actually like when they showed the team orange animated players when you are about to board reminded me of like PS3 Era video game graphics and aesthetic. The ride was enjoyable. I didn't feel it was uncomfortable. I'm 6ft athletic build.
sorry you had pain. I have been on it 2x now with my daughter. I am a big guy 6ft 280lbs and I have no pain, actually its prob the most comfortable seat Ive been on for a roller coaster, that said my daughter has pain every time. I guess I am just lucky. Thanks for the review.
I’m honestly surprised that light cycle ride is so rough. If you tell me “light cycle”, I imagine a ride that should be quite smooth. That sounds like a severe tuning problem.
Tronfan 4 life. Excellent way to showcasing the unacceptable and inferior work that previously would not have been accepted. As an extremely saddened Disney fan I am glad that I am not wasting my money.
Tron was a bit of a let down when it comes to the duration of the ride, the launch up to the first set of brakes are the best parts the rest could’ve been so much better
Wow why does a brand new ride look like such crap? All the smudges, the canopy stains and ugly footings, the edging and seals at the Depot.. why does this look so bad!? But be nice to the artists, they do all the work and never get to make any decisions, Art Directors with no experience will often make all the decisions and basically turn the artists into nothing but software operators.
We’ll you gotta do it to find out if it hurts. He can complain if he did t like the experience, which he didn’t. People can have their own opinion. If you don’t like him complaining, don’t watch the video

Should I even bother going to the soft opening for the ride or should I just wait until it’s been open for a while to try it? I know there’s a virtual queue but even those can be a bit long and I don’t wanna wait like 45 minutes for a mediocre ride
The fact that it had such a fast launch then immediately slowed down, then continued slowing/stopping before every "drop" just made it so disappointing. Guardians is 10x better. The outdoor and entrance area queue are awful, that main room after the bridge is also awful.
We had a registration to ride Tron today and it said we had a 4 hour wait but the wait dropped all of a sudden. Because of traffic it took me 2 hours to get there and they wouldn't let us ride because we we're late. I said they let us on Guardians if we're late and they said we're not allowed to because Tron is a smaller attraction. So drove 2 hours for nothing.
Sheesh, it's like these haters who keep hating on this ride never even watched the movies. You wanna know something Kevin? You and the rest of the annoying Guardians of the Galaxy or Harry Potter fanboys wouldn't even know a good thing about the Tron movies if a Lightcycle was real and hitted you all in the face lmao.
the queue area and even exit make this ride seem like it's been there for 10 years already... idk what their standards are, but for the expense it takes to go to WDW, this aint it. i'm glad i'm just saving up to go to Dollywood instead, and then Epic Universe
I have never been to Disney World, but in most videos I have seen, I am not impressed. I would probably go to Universal Studios, they seem to have it a bit more together. Walt would probably be disappointed with what his park has become, especially, with the shoddy craftsmanship, definitely can tell where they tried to save a buck or two, sad :(
Disney just does lame-a$$ roller coasters these days. Did they fire all their imagineers and just use off-the-shelf roller coaster company products now? Weak. Disney isn't going to get repeat customers like this.
I rode it 10 times in a row on D23 previews. The fencing on the way up was rusted in areas but the ride was fun the queue is awesome and how they digitize you is epic if it is timed right. My longest wait was 10 mins max so I thought it was awesome. Waiting an hour plus though not sure if it would be as great.
Honest review 👍 - I won’t be going to Florida any time soon. But I will say that my favorite tribute to Tron was the dance party club they used to have at Disneyland + Finn’s Arcade! I still miss that dance floor.
The ride was very uncomfortable. There is a hard rubber object in the shape of a gas tank lid. It was pressing just below my xyphoid process. It hurt. It’s not a ride I need to do again.
As far as the pixelated signage goes, my inclination is to say it's a printing problem. Either the printer was given a file that was too small to start with, or else the final sign changed formats before installation and they didn't have time to upscale the image properly and just 'resized to fit'. Likely on the theory that most people won't look that close at an advertising backdrop. Man, that queue is *rough* though. Yikes. Like, the dirt, idk, it's Florida in spring, rains all the time, but what's the excuse for all those awful welds and split joins? This thing is new, why does it already look like a 15 year old Six Flags coaster? I'd be afraid of metal shear and derailing...
I rode it twice this week. I’m 6 feet tall and 180 lbs. First ride a few days ago it was slightly uncomfortable but it didn’t hurt. Today it hurt. Not sure why there was a difference!
Good grief, this is the most negative and miserable Disney video I’ve seen. It’s fine to criticise, but the whole video just focuses on everything wrong. If you don’t enjoy what you’re doing, you shouldn’t do it anymore.
I think it's about time that they create a new, 5th park, and prioritize reliability and presentation for whatever they build. I was there not too long ago, and there were way too many people. It's sad to see the declining quality and frequent mechanical issues on some of these newer rides, even though they're very unique. And most of the food was fine but a couple of them missed pretty bad.
The queue area is shocking and not up to Disney standards at all. Made in America by border jumpers. 😂😂😂
Should I even bother going to the soft opening for the ride or should I just wait until it’s been open for a while to try it? I know there’s a virtual queue but even those can be a bit long and I don’t wanna wait like 45 minutes for a mediocre ride
It might be a little slower before the opening
More reasons for me to go to universal instead 🤷♂️🤷♂️
10:45 the music! I ☠️
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I think you are rather generous with the numbers on your food ratings (7.5?). Great video though. We appreciate the honesty.
the queue area and even exit make this ride seem like it's been there for 10 years already... idk what their standards are, but for the expense it takes to go to WDW, this aint it.
i'm glad i'm just saving up to go to Dollywood instead, and then Epic Universe
Sounds like there needs to be a "bangers and mash" measurement report to see if there is some correlation LMAO
Would you eat the Tron food?
Maybe 😂
Idk
😝
NO
Yes if it's gluten free
Very entertaining and fun to watch. Thanks for posting this.
whats up with the monorail footage? poly dvc wing has gone vertical over a month ago so this cant be all up to date footage, creative editing?
I hope this ride allows you to make 90 degree turns so that you internal organs move into entirely different parts of your body.
In the loading room is the Daft Punk music playing? In Shanghai is a very fun rave atmosphere hearing Daft Punk's masterpiece playing loudly. -Frank
Hopefully there will be less people going on tron cause of discomfort and all of us that fit can jump on continuously.
I don't like the fact that this is not totally a "dark ride" like Space Mountain. You should not be able to see the outside.
No Tron for me thanks 🤪
That food though 🤢🤮
How do you eat that stuff Kevin 😱
The food doesn't seem Tron themed at all
More like Sanford and Son themed! 😂😂😂
Your food ratings do not match your descriptions. A $10 plate that tastes like Beef-a-Roni should get a 3 or 4 at best.
I’m 6’5 and I was getting the wind knocked out of me the whole ride. The seat just shoved into my upper stomach. Overall not the best ride.
Can't wait to ride Tron
I actually love my second time riding Tron than the first one. huge difference being in front row. I actually love the ride now on this second run.
Lol don't forget a 3 digit number... that's a problem. Lmfao
