One of the most chilling takes I've ever heard about Doffy is "if you have an ounce of sympathy for this man while reading One Piece then he's already won."
He does not want people to feel sympathetic towards him though. He might use your sympathies for his purposes but that does not mean you cannot have an ounce of sympathy for him. You can understand a villain's motives and struggles without forgiving them. Even then, he is not the kind to be sympathised regardless of if you understand him as a person.

Not only did the relatives of the toys forget about them, they also were forced to watch their families and friends move on without them. Truly Doffy is one of the most despicable characters in One Piece.
Right? Imagine forgetting about your partner/spouse and moving on with someone else, then remembering them after Sugar was defeated? What the hell do you do?

Honestly i feel the worst for Kyros, he had to not only watch his wife die, but had to hold her while she had no idea who he was, and would never know who he was again, to her she somehow had a daughter but never knew her husband and would never get her memory of him back, like damn that’s messed up

Doflamingo is the Dio of One Piece. He totally adopted that bird into his family and it became the equivalent of Petshop. That birds gonna get a devil fruit.

It's actually impressive how much Doflamingo effected one Piece. not only that Law would be dead, but 3 islands would look completely different. he talked about Dressrosa, but no Doflamingo means no Smiles - so Wano and Punk Hazard as well
Doflamingo also owns the biggest weapons factory, slave market (Sabaody island's slave auction), even drugs trafficking (the medicine that WB used have Doffy's jolly roger on it). That's why both Sabo and the Rev Army is in Dressrossa in the 1st place, they wanna stop Doffy's weapon supply towards other countries.

Also, the World Government get a lot of their guns from the Underworld. That's why CP0 was in Wano. So they can broker a deal with Orochi to manufacture weapons.

Doflamingo's apparent caring for his follower, is it because he actually cares, or because someone attacking his chosen followers is seen as someone indirectly attacking Doflamingo himself and he felt directly attacked.

Doflamingo strikes me as a very... unfortunately familiar kind of evil. The kind of evil that will "care" for someone or something, but only as far as it is "his" in his mind. It doesn't matter the condition of the person or thing, it doesn't matter what they think, they are HIS and his alone. As long as he can possess something he's happy. If something disturbs that, then he gets pissed and lashes out.
Let this serve as a warning when dealing with that kind of person: Don't. They have no good anywhere in them. They will fake every kind of smile to manipulate you and then threaten your life if you ever tried to rebel. There is no healing a heart like that.

Besides describing the type wayyy too carroonishly evil without any nuisance, especially since what Oda and Tekking are trying to convey is just like in reality, people have nuisance its not black and white` but still a great description

I see where you're coming from though, certainly wouldn't want anyone like Doflamingo around me personally` just characters, and the people that make them, are more complicated
Add to it the product of environmental influence and how it effects each person
Though I don't see someone like Dolfamingo going to therapy to.improve himself....he'd probably end up in prison for life with his mindset
What if Doflamingo fights a god’s knight attempting to assassinate him, escapes barely alive and as he’s escaping the prison he manages to get bon clay tangled up in the mix, Bon uses his ability to disguise himself to try and survive what he’s gotten involved in. Doflamingo takes advantage of that, they both escape and end up floating at see. Doffy spots a ship and with the remaining strength he has he takes there ship and it’s one of the lower Cross Guild ships. Doflamingo either already knowing what happened to T Bone and about the cross guild alliance, he makes the crew call Crocodile or Buggy or makes them do it out of confusion then Crocodile answers the phone jokingly asking Doflamingo to join the guild as a disrespectful reality chec of the control he’s in compared to marine ford when Doffy asked Croc to work under him. Doflamingo then surprisingly agrees on the condition they go bac to impel down and break out his remaining crew, while discussing that he mentions using Crocodile’s old subordinate Mr 2 to escape and with reasons we don’t know but plans the cross guild has. They could really use Bon Clay’s ability. So they tell Doflamingo to stay where him and Bob Clay are, they’ll be on there way to get them and go to impel down 🤯 I might have to make a video about this cause HOLY SHIT I CAN SEE IT
except doflamingo wont be able to escape without his df or a free boat and evenn then someone needs to open the gates of justice for impel down side, and another exit, which would probably be enies lobby as the best option.
If he has hid df, then he could just fly off.

A villain themed after a goddamn flamingo should have not worked, but Oda knocked out of the ballpark.
Doflamingo is a dark empath he understood Laws pain he was able to possess cognitive empathy which made him much scarier then most of the One Piece villains.
Doflamingo is a very interesting character. He doesn't actually seems to be trying to be evil at all as far as I can remember, but in any decision making 'evil' options are as good as any for him. He has zero regard to life in general, suffering of others, other human beings etc (accept his family, of course), so when he take any decision these (petty, as far as he is concerned) considerations don't play a role at all, hence his actions commonly turns out to be the 'evil' ones.
His disregard of life in general, suffering of others, other human beings etc, is very similar to any generic tenryuubito, but he is way more intelligent. He is an intelligent tenryuubito with a traumatic past.
I still find it interesting that none of the Celestial dragons have yet shown to be using a Devil fruit despite it pretty clear they can afford it.
Tears of the Kingdom is super fun. I'm just happy there's a recipe system now, but there's a lot of great additions on top of that.

If only we don't have a gigantic horizontal list for fusing though. They could have had a similar list that the other menu have. It wouldn't be a clean look but at least a functional one. The sorting option only does so much.

We need a What If video of Doflamingo being raised up in Marijoa. Would he be one of the next Gorosei? Or would he become the next Charlos?
What sells Doflamingo as a special kind of evil is his willingness to throw everything away because of his anger. He was angry at his father so he killed him even though it was his mouth that got them discovered beaten and tortured.
Dressrosa gets a lot of comparison to Alabasta but at least Crocodile's ambition was hyper focused and it was probably the biggest hurdle in all of One Piece for plot armor with Luffy surviving what should have been a guaranteed death. Crocodile also didn't care about Alabasta. Doflamingo attacked Dressrosa due to some implied birthright. Enslaved a contingent of the population into slavery and made everyone else forget about them and its like okay. Cool.
Even though he had the Mera Mera no Mi he didn't need to entice Luffy on to the island. Hell it didn't even factor into much because the tournament ran with no interference or real trap. Only that Doflamingo let Diamante set up the REAL devil fruit as a price under the pretext that he could handle it when realistically he's not all that strong. But when everything went to crap he figured he's destroy the island. His entire pirate crew would be destroyed, All of Dressrosa would have been in ruins. He'd have lost more doing what he did.
Doffy is one of those who when everything else is going to crap, you might as well burn everything else down too. But on the other hand I don't think he ever would think he would lose. I think that with his father, he always blamed him because to Doffy being raised as a CD, he was entitled to do what he did. And he has never let go of that entitlement. I think his most formative years were shaped as a CD, while his little brother Roci, hadn't quite yet. So by the time they left Marijoia, he basically was stuck in that mindset

Crocodile was willing to bomb all of Alabasta if things didn't go his way, so its actually quite similar to Doflamingo.
I have thought for a while that Doffy indeed cares for others but only as long as they care and are loyal to him and they don't challenge him and his mentality of himself. I think with Roci, because Doflamingo saw him as a traitor, someone who had actively betrayed him, it hurt him and because of that he had to kill him. Just as he did with his father. Doffy is very, very big on loyalty at least in those of the family. So that's why he ended up feeling like Roci had to die.

Technically, due to the cover page, Moria is the only former Warlord who we haven't seen since Wano ended.And even then, we know Perona rescued him. The Warlords are still very relevant.

A shining example of Donquixote Doflamingo's goodness was revealed in an SBS where it was revealed he rescued Monet & her sister Sugar from a terrible circumstance I would love to see that in a spin-off novel as the way that backstory is it would be too dark for a cover story
But did Doflamingo save them because he cared or because he could use them himself.

Doflamingo is not like Crocodile. He cares about his subordinates. Those close to him respect him - not out fear like Crocodile.
Sea urchins are indeed very interesting. As a biologist, I know some information myself. They are related to starfish and sea cucumbers. The tube feet you mentioned are water-filled, hollow muscle tubes that can be extended and move in every direction by contracting and relaxing the muscles as well as pumping more or less water into the tube feet. The tube feet also have a suction cup at the end. The spikes can also move. They have a mouth made up of five tooth plates. They are bilaterally symmetrical (they have a front, a back, a left, and a right side) like most animals as a larva (yes, they do have a larval stage) but become radially symmetrical (they do not have a front, a back, a left, or a right side) as an adult.
I also thought the cover is a bit similar to Monet & her relation to Doflamingo. Monet, obviously having links to birds, was rescued by Doflamingo from a terrible environment. Yeah…

Doffy loves his family, among most treble, his adopted father in some sense. Extending that family love to a bird that finds itself out of its element, like he did when he was young, doesnt seem too far out of the realm of possibility. In so acting as treble did to him in his youth

as of chapter 1081, Garp was seen using the attack known as "Blue Hole". what might not have been known is that this attack was in fact infused with blue haki. the only known being that could have taught Garp how to use blue haki is Imu (Arlong the Sea Devil), this means that Money D. Garp is training under Arlong and is learning the ways of blue haki

I would actually argue that he doesnt care for the Doflamingo Family, he likes them because theyre loyal to him and useful. They are his twisted idea if what a family should have been, but when it comes down to it he will sacrifice them for himself and would not do the reverse

I know people are hoping and praying for an all Warlord crew with the Cross Guild, but I’ll be honest… Doflamingo really has NO redeemable qualities as a character.
His ally with anyone would just feel off, I’d rather him return to the story to die in a fitting way.
If Tsuru was able to use her Clean-Clean DF on him to have him attain some more humanity and positive characteristics..
That would be the only plausible way for him to become less evil and have any sort of redemption arc
It all depends on if Oda~sensei wants to use Doffy as an insturmental piece of The Final War Arc since Doffy knows all about Mariejois’ National Treasure and was able to go to Imu~sama to get the newspapers to state he left the Warlords when he never did
@@Mizikame In an SBS, it was said a truly evil person would require repeat washings to cleanse them. Lord knows how long it would take for Doflamingo. Start with the filthiest black sock, and turn it into a pristine white.
I like to think those god knights are around doffys level or slightly above. I doubt they are on the admirals level because that would be insane and they'd win automatically but doffy is more of a good level of strong but not over the top as I'm sure the celestial dragons would bring them everywhere or call them instead of admirals
Though they would be insane having op fruits when using the fruits for entertainment too

They wouldn't. Because the Admirals are for going out into the world to do their job. And you even have times like Marineford when you need all of them together in a single place.
The Gods Knights are specifically a defense and judiciary branch for the Celestial Dragons. They not only keep order evidently, but also solve disputes. They would also be the heavy hitters of the Upper World.
The point would be that you shouldn't leave the Holy Land unprotected. The reason it wouldn't make sense to send them out, is because you're sending the Admirals out. The World Government might be arrogant, but they haven't existed for centuries by being stupid and assuming they're untouchable just because they're at the top of the Redline.
@@AlMamun-ik3tz Admiral level is still ridiculous. How many characters do we know of that might feasibly go toe to toe with an admiral (or win against one)? Like 15? The emperors, mihawk, the actual admirals, implied garp and sengoku, rayleigh, roger, oden, yamato. Maybe sanji and zoro if we're pushing it? That's still only 20.
And now Saint Jaygarcia Saturn is giving Doffy a run for his money in the evil department.
If we have the comparisons of some elements of One Piece to Norse Myth, I'd like to compare Doflamingo to Nidhogr. Doflamingo has always been somebody who inhabits the "underworld" and "gnaws at the roots of the world." I bet Doflamingoes' role is going to be that of somebody who breaks out all the former villains of One Piece and rides with them into the final battle.

I actually have a fun urchin fact, some types of sea urchins will wear rocks as hats. you can find pictures online of urchins wearing small hats people made for them including cowboy hats, it’s amazing.

For example, instead of Devil Chid Nico Robin hopping from Pirate Crew to Pirate crew, she runs into GARP, who does for her when Sengoku does for Corazon, hidden identity and all
Everyone thinking Doffy will be with Cross Guild, but having him connected to the world government and the Holy Knights feels a lot more interesting.

I learned about Urchins, seacucumbers and jewel catapilars rather recent. You're never gonna guess where 🤣, a pokemon video from Lockstin and Gnoggin, about Pincurchin 🤣, Snow and Pyukumuku. But he really had alot of Urchin facts in there 😁.
Idk if I put the God Knights on Yonko level but maybe admiral level or like King & Queen level, those directly under a Yonko.
Now that I think about it, Doffy's would be assassin would have to be God's knight/Holy knight and they'd have to be rank of Tenryuobito. "Normal" humans aren't allowed to harm Heavenly dragons and they are above all laws. Even though Doflamingo is technically former member, the dragons might not like it assassins go around killing them. It's kinda like historical feudal structure. Only your peers or people above you can judge you. So if Doffy is to die by will of Imu or even the Tenryubito themselves, it can't be some some WG or Marine branch doing it.
I think he might get rescued from Impel Down by Croco boy and Mihawk, and join them. No big reason why, it just crossed my mind while listenning to this.

What Doffy proves is that Celestial Dragons can be pirates common people etc. Even Vivi proves this. Which backs up the theory of Shanks being a Celestial Dragon.
Shanks was confirmed a figurland celestial dragon in some media leading up to the release of film red.
I imagine gods knights are on par or slightly above yonko commanders, specifically the second in commands, so katakuri or king, I think this would put them above cp0 while still being below admirals, making them any stronger than that at least individually seems like it would be to much
