Kumburulena Cave Temple, Deraniyagala || දැරණියගල කුඹුරුලෙන ලෙන් විහාරය

From #Deraniyagala to #Erathna road, from #Miyanavita junction, after traveling towards Miyanavita for about one and a half kilometers, you will find this historic #Kumburulena cave temple. Considered to be a cave temple built by King Varagamba, this temple is also known as a place where King #NishankaMalla rested during his pilgrimage to #Sri Pada. One part of the rock was used as a cave temple and the other part as a temple and the temple is abandoned today. Inside the temple, you can see a Samadhi Buddha statue, two seated and standing Buddha statues, as well as a large Natha Deva statue. The statues and paintings have recently been restored.
#දැරණියගල සිට #එරත්න මාර්ගයේ #මියනවිට හන්දියේ සිට කිලෝමීටර් එකහමාරක් පමණ මියනවිට දෙසට ගමන් කළ පසු මෙම ඓතිහාසික #කුඹුරුලෙන ලෙන් විහාරය හමුවෙයි. වළගම්බා රජු විසින් කරවන ලද ලෙන් විහාරයක් ලෙසට සැලකෙන මෙම විහාරය #නිශ්ශංක මල්ල රජු #ශ්‍රී පාද වන්දනාවේ යන අතරතුර ගිමන් හරින ලද ස්ථානයක් ලෙසටද හැඳින්වේ. ගල් පර්වතයේ එක් කොටසක් ලෙන් විහාරය ලෙසත් අනෙක් කොටස දේවාලයක් ලෙසත් භාවිත කරන ලද අතර දේවාලය අද අතහැර දමා ඇත. විහාර මන්දිරය තුළ සමාධි බුද්ධ ප්‍රතිමාවක් හිඳි හා හිටි බුද්ධ ප්‍රතිමා දෙකක් මෙන්ම විශාල ප්‍රමාණයේ නාථ දේවප්‍රතිමාවක්ද දැකිය හැක. ප්‍රතිමා හා සිතුවම් මෑත කාලීනව ප්‍රතිසංස්කරණය වී තිබේ.
