Replacing a 2003-2007 Dodge Ram 5.9L Diesel MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) Sensor.

    The ambient air temp sensor is built into the 4 wire MAP sensors. The 3 wire MAP sensors did not have that built in

      Yea make sure of 3 wire and four wire connectors ... And the little square ( cut out .. step on the inside.. lower corners ))

    FYI there is a difference Between this map sensor for boost $200 ish
    and the aviant sensor located on the air intake box. $100 ish .. make sure both are good .. 👍

    Did you verify that your boost fuller wasn’t bad before you replaced this and what was your outcome? Because I see you have a boost Fueller wired in on your harness right there

      Yes( confirmed my assumption with my brother, he’s a diesel mechanic.)I’m guessing you mean boost fooler? The outcome was that the truck accelerated normal without a giant lag and was able to go over 45mph without taking 1/2 mile. Thanks for watching
