- Hi everyone welcome to my channel! I have some EXCITING NEWS!!! I will be one of the guest instructors at the prestigious Fluid Art Experience - Learn, Live & Be Inspired which is coming back to it's hometown and my hometown of Dallas, Texas!!! I will be joined by nine other AMAZING artists and I can't wait to share my fluid/dot art fusion and dot ocean wave class! To purchase tickets check out www.fluidartexperience.com. Tickets are on sale RIGHT NOW and they are going fast!!!
In today’s video I will be doing a comparison between Amsterdam Pearlescent paints and Golden Interference paints. The reason why these paints appear to be white is because each particular is coated with Titanium Dioxide better known as Titanium white. Interference paints appear more of their mysterious color in a dark base due to light frequency being absorbed while the light frequency reflects over them on a lighter base. They are not to be confused with Iridescent paints since iridescent paints are coated with Iron Dioxide which give them a metallic shade…

Thank you SO much Fiona dear!!! I am sad I won’t get to see you!!! Miss you so much!
Thanks Amanda. These are all good things to know.
Thanks dear! 🙏🥰 Hopefully I will see you at Fluid Art Experience in Dallas this September?
Great video Amber! Lots of information. I just did two 6x6 paintings with a white base, used Amsterdam pearl paints. Used the blow dryer. I wanted them to look The Northern Lights. But I can definitely see in your video the different in the two paints. Thanks for sharing. You will be a blessing to anyone that takes your classes. Have a wonderful evening Amber. 😊💖
Awww Judy thanks for your kind words!!! Oh a Northern Lights paintings sounds BEAUTIFUL! 😍 It was interesting experimenting with the 2 brands…

Thanks my dear! 🥰💕
I appreciate this! Thanks, Amber! I wish I could be there and take your class ❤
Hey sis! Thank you SO much!!! I hope I showed the difference between the 2?
@@ambergoodwinart You absolutely did! And you did a fantastic job explaining the difference. I knew there was a difference between the two, but your video definitely showed off Golden’s ability to stand out!! Gorgeous!!!!
Fun video, and really interesting too.
Thanks dear! Glad you enjoyed it!
Try the Deco Art Media Fluid Interfernce Paints as well! They have turquoise and magenta😊
Thank you I will try them!
Thanks for doing this comparison! What a difference!!! My question is why use interference at all if I can just use a paint color? Just curious what u think! Hugs 💜and congrats on being a teacher this fall further FAE 😍💜🎉👍u deserve it
Regular paint doesn’t color shift. The interference paints add interest since they change colors in different ways when the light shines on them in different angles…
