I LOVE them!! I also love & appreciate your enthusiasm. You are a joy to watch, and it’s all about having fun … and you sure do! Ty for bringing us along with you. ❤️
You can put little masking tape marks to keep your canvas always in the frame. Actors have their marks on stage for that, otherwise they would never know where to stop! (Or fall into the orchestra pit, it’s happened before!)
Hi Bonnie ❤. So nice to see you again. Thank you so much for another wonderful pour. This looks so beautiful ❤. I hope everything is well with you. Mark Bensette Aux Bois 🇨🇦.
Wow.. so pretty! I am impressed. I am an artist and would normal try to draw this type of painting.. I use mostly colored pencils and ink. This seems like fun and the end results are beautiful. I may have to try this!
This is fun Bonnie. Its always supprising How the paintings are drying. The emporer walks naked was my First thougth Seeing you all those with pudles pouring on the canvas. 😂 It worked out amazing. There is always a sudden proud in me When Artist using Amsterdam Paint. I am from Amsterdam and I know by living in other Country,s and using there Paint, there is No better Paint then That from the Netherlands. If for woud, metal or art painting. 😂
I love how you played with these paints! I just love them and what you did with them! I’m catching up on my comments 😂been watching on tv and can’t comment from there! Hugs sweetie! Great job!
Sorry, but I could not understand your question. If it was in regards to the Pouring Medium I use. It is a combo of approximately 75% American Floetrol and 25% Golden's Color Gloss PM
Hi Dawn. Thanks for tuning in. I use a different P.M. depending on what type of pour I am doing. For these paints, It's just my normal p.m. of 70/30 Floetrol to Golden's Gloss p.m. Then I mix a ratio of about 3-4 parts of my p.m. to 1 part paint. So depending on the desired consistency, then add water to thin. These are Amsterdam paints so they have really good binders and can be thinned down fairly well. I hope that answers your question.
I use my normal pouring medium that I mix myself for all my paints (other than the bloom or Fiona's Reverse Flower Dip) which is a mix of 2:1 parts of American Flood Floetrol to Golden's Gloss p.m. Then I mix that even parts to the paint and thin them with water to desired consistency. Some paints, such as Amsterdam and Holbein have really good binders in them so I can actually mix 4 parts of my PM to 1 part paint then thin with water. (FYI, you shouldn't use just the American Floetrol as it will dull the colors. Adding the GGPM adds the gloss back and it has binding properties in it, too.) Hope that helps you.
Hi there. Thanks for tuning in. My base paint... the black is slightly thinner than the puddled pearl paints. But not by much. Hope this help answer your question.
thank you!!! I spent all day trying to get a good pour but the paints were just rolling over the black paint. I mixed half black paint and half floetrol.. Then I tried other black paints with half Liquitex and half floetrol....Should I try tube black instead of the Artist loft soft black? Happy thanksgiving!!!!
I mix them with my pouring medium: American Floetrol and Golden Color Gloss medium. 3-4 parts p.m. to 1 part paint. And add water to the desired consistency.
Hola soy de argentina me costo encontrar los perlados muchisimo. No consegui marca amsterdam sino los marca pebeo. Como es la cantidad en que los diluyes?? Porque a mi me quedaron mucho mas claros tus colores son mas vivos y brillantes
I just use my normal PM that I mix and store in a big jug. same as I use for all my pours except my pigments. It's 2:1 American Floetrol to Golden Color Gloss PM. Just add water to thin as need after you mix with the paints.
I make my own p.m. of a mix of American Floetrol and Golden Gloss Color pouring medium. For these paints, It's just my normal p.m. of 70/30 Floetrol to Golden's Gloss p.m. Then I mix a ratio of about 3-4 parts of my p.m. to 1 part paint. Of course. I make my own P.M. of basically 2:1 parts of American Floetrol to Golden Color Gloss pouring medium. (Or you can do 70% American floetrol to 30% Golden color gloss pm.) The floetrol can kind of dull your paint so adding the GCGPM will not only give a gloss but it also has binders in it so as to help your paint not to break down. I then mix it about 3 to 4 parts of my PM to my paint when mixing then add water to thin it out to the desired consistency for the pour. I hope this helps. BTW: this is not a recipe for pigments but just for tube paints or heavy body paints.
I purchase my paints both online and in local stores. Fluid Art.Co has quite a few options from their TLP pigments to different tube paints including these Amsterdam paints. So, it just depends on the brand & types of paints I am needing.
I make my p.m. of American Floetrol and Golden Gloss Color pouring medium. (70/30) So, for this, it's just my normal p.m. apx. 4 parts to 1 part paint. Then depending on the desired consistency, add water to thin.
They are fun! I mixed them with my normal pm. 2:1 of Floetrol to Golden Gloss pm. And water. The Pearl paint consistency was fine, but my black base doesn’t seem right. Thank you for watching, I appreciate it❤.

I prep my canvas by taping off the back. That's all I prep. When creating, I only use Cell Activator (C.A.: 3 parts Aussie Floetrol to 1 part paint), when I am doing blooms. I never use silicone oils in any of my pours. Hopefully that answers your question. Thank you for watching and tuning in!
Thanks Amanda. I just used my regular pouring medium that I Premix & keep in a big jug. I use a 2:1 mix of American Floetrol to Golden Color Gloss PM. Golden Color Gloss P.M. has the binders in it. And, Except for my TLP's, I use that for all my pours. Just add water to get to the consistency you need for the type of pour. Hope that answered your question.

Yes, I totally get it. When I first started out, I had to go with less expensive brands. I have come to realize that I need to use less paint with the better brands as they are so much more pigmented. I appreciate you watching.
I loved how both of them came out! Great job Bonnie ❤
Thank you very much, Darnell!

I’ve seen a wreck with the same type of paints with a large marble, just saying. . . Color me subscribed!
Fun paints, for sure! I also used a marble with these paints and technique. Crazy results. Thanks so much for tuning in!

Beautiful. How thick is your black paint compared to the colors?

So lovely Bonnie- can I please ask do you mix the Peary paints with a pouring medium or white paint?
I mix them with my pouring medium: American Floetrol and Golden Color Gloss medium.
3-4 parts p.m. to 1 part paint. And add water to the desired consistency.

Thanks so much! I'll probably be putting up another video in a couple days. I've been gone from my studio for nearly 2 weeks. Good to get back to it.
Are all your paints purchased via online?
Aren't there art stores that sell them?
I purchase my paints both online and in local stores. Fluid Art.Co has quite a few options from their TLP pigments to different tube paints including these Amsterdam paints. So, it just depends on the brand & types of paints I am needing.

Fab! Is that just paint and water?
I use my normal pouring medium. I'm sure with these Amsterdam paints, you could just use water.
All the colors look white how do you do that❤
It's magic! LOL! Just kidding. When you put those Amsterdam Pearl Paints on a dark background, they all dry showing their spectacular colors.
when you are preparing your canvass do use any cell acelerater
I prep my canvas by taping off the back. That's all I prep. When creating, I only use Cell Activator (C.A.: 3 parts Aussie Floetrol to 1 part paint), when I am doing blooms. I never use silicone oils in any of my pours. Hopefully that answers your question. Thank you for watching and tuning in!
Could you put the ratio of paint to water that you used?
I usually just eyeball it. My pouring medium is 4 parts to one part paint... but the water will vary depending on the paint densities.
Hi, what ratio did you mix your pearl paints? Love your painting 🌈
Thanks Amanda. I just used my regular pouring medium that I Premix & keep in a big jug. I use a 2:1 mix of American Floetrol to Golden Color Gloss PM. Golden Color Gloss P.M. has the binders in it. How about next time only use 1/2 as much of the colors by volume? Colors are great!
