Kyle Petty's last win in 95 where he climbed out of his car and sat down on the track, and leaned back against his car as the ambulance came to give him oxygen
Bad Brad Keselowski Finally breaking a 110 race winless streak in 2024 was super emotional for me as I had been waiting for Brad to win ever since I reintroduced myself to nascar in 2022
One of David Person 10 wins at Darlington was in the 1979 season during the southern 500 driving the Number 2 Rod Osterland car driving for a injured Rookie Named Dale Earnhardt.
I think some may have mentioned it, it was definitely an oversight on my part! I typically choose the 3-5 most requested ones for the video as to include as many people as possible. That said, it is a great moment!
Dover Memorable moments 2021 - Hendrick Motorsports 1,2,3,4 finish 2017 - Jimmie Johnsons last win 😢 2016 - big crash at the end 2009 - Logano Crash 2008 - big crash 2005 - Greg Biffle burnout into the wall 2001- Dale Jr wins after 9/11 attacks ✊
If we're gonba be technical based on the 2023 southern 500 coverage Mantz didn't exactly use truck tires, just a new compound Firestone was working on for asphalt racing derivative from truck tires
Memorable moments at Dover: Dale Earnhardt, Jr. winning the first race back after 9/11 Hendrick Motorsports' 1-2-3-4 finish in 2021 Kurt Busch vs. Tony Stewart Jimmie Johnson's save in qualifying in 2006 (my go-to moment for showing anyone learning about NASCAR what roof flaps do) Jimmie Johnson's last win (it still blows my mind that he only won three races after winning his seventh championship)
Dover; my favorite all time car owners only win junie donlavey. Btw I’d love to see a team history of junie donlavey. It might not have many wins but there’s so much history there. Kyle Petty’s last win also comes to mind . The 92 championship also was significantly impacted by the fall Dover race, Kulwicki crashed out and everyone thought he was eliminated. Also Junior Johnson overruled Tim Brewer on the final pit stop costing Bill Elliott the win and ultimately the championship and was the catalyst in the falling out between Brewer and Johnson, scene vault podcast for the whole story
In the Same southern 500 that Ned Won by 14 laps Sam McQuagg in the 24 car and Cale Yarborough In the 27 Made Contact Heading into turn 3 (now turn 1) and Yarborough Flipped right over the guard rail
1. Dale Jr wins race after September 11 2. 2005 Jimmie Johnson beats Kyle Busch by .08 seconds 3. 2009 Joey logano flips car 4. 2016 Jimmie trigger the big wreck
I member Donnie neunburger flip vividly for Dover for some reason. Also I think it was 2016 when Jimmie missed his shift an caused like one of the biggest pile up’s ever had Jimmie not missed his shift he’d of had like 11 wins at Dover and not 10
@@saltbombcreations8336yeah i feel like he couldve had a successful career in the trucks or arca. most likely arca but he mightve won some truck races.
Next track history will feature the Monster Mile of Dover! Be sure to let me know your memorable moments for that one down below! Y’all rock!
2021 1234 finish for Hendrick
Also Joey Logano flip
Great mentions Duddle!

HM for Dover, you'll definitely like this one, Jimmie Johnson winning both Dover races in his rookie year.
I am a big fan of that! Thanks for the mention!
Memorable moment: Jimmie’s final win in 2017.
Sadness, we never knew it would be the last 😭
How did Bill and Jeff winning the Winston Million in the Southern 500 not make the list?

Yeah, I had always heard and read that it was a truck tire compound. Regardless it’s an awesome piece of history!

Dale Earnhardt Jr. 2001 Victory at Dover.
One of the greatest of his wins.

That's awesome
So about that….. I got called to work NWB this weekend…. I promise the Ganassi video will be here soon, thanks for being patient 😅

My memorable moment for Dover is Kyle Busch taking away Chase Elliott’s first win at the 2017 fall race
I know a lot of fans didn’t like that outcome!
🖕
(This is a joke)
Interesting Xfinity stats: Justin Allgaier has finished in the top 10 in the 7 straight races at Darlington
That is a great stat!
You've gotta do HMS getting i think the 3rd ever 1-4 sweep in 2021 at Dover for a HM
It’s gotta be there!
Please do The History of Talladega Superspeedway
It’s definitely coming! We are going in alphabetical order!

😂
@@DoglegMediaMatt He makes Patrick look like Larson and besides she did better than Ware in general, more top tens than him and a Daytona 500 pole
