I’m sure these Fox Alarms are great but I don’t feel able to take Ali’s word for it after him telling us Delkims were the best alarms on the market. Now some free Fox alarms and they are the greatest… Love what Ali has done for fishing and I’ll always watch his stuff just don’t feel able to take a product review from him.

i’m a fox fan and like everything about these (except the price and the sound). When the delkim goes off you can tell how fast the fish is moving because the beeps speed up, while these fox alarms almost immediately switch to a single prolonged beeeeeeeeeeeeeep.
We’d disagree, the RX+ alarms do not one tone, they let off a series of beeps this is obviously exaggerated if you reduce the sensitivity. You might be getting confused with the Mini Microns which do one tone.
The loyalty in carp fishing is outrageous 🫣😳😂

I've used these alarms over 6 months and they are brilliant and love the anti theft function..these are just brilliant

I’ve got huge respect for Tom maker who has the chance to use these but uses the cheaper microns instead, I’m sorry but no alarms are worth that money, maybe Ali could do a similar thing and promote all fox gear and not the top of the range overpriced parts of it 🤷♂️ I’m a huge fox fan I just hate being ripped off
Ali has a wide range of Fox tackle and in fact has just asked for a set of Mini X alarms to take to Thailand to save on space and weight in his luggage 👍 saying that we 100% believe the RX+ are considerably better than the Mini X and are worth the money. For an alarm that will out perform anything else in every possible carp fishing situation there isn’t another option 👍

I think you'll find that possibly Tom is using the Mini X's because its his job to promote them and is a very successful angler, they look a great alarm for the money TBH I just wish they'd put dials on them but sealing and other issues would put the price up. Still love my olde skool RX's

I like Fox alarms and Delkim , both decent and both do a job, but this sort of thing from media personality's is everything I dislike about the tackle industry and that side of carp fishing, give it 12 months a prologic / Nash / whoever will be the best, but that's the nature of business, but I would not make a decision to purchase anything, based of what any well known angler said these days.

100% agree fella, been saying this for years. These ‘so called’ personalities will say any old bullshit, if the £’s to them are right. Anyone with any sense will go and look at various types of a product they are after, try them out, then make a decision based on their individual needs & price/value for money. The idiots (& there are plenty of them, especially on here) who buy, based on what these ‘celebrities??’ promote are just paying their mortgage/buying their next fishing van for them! Same as the fools who buy the latest rods/reels etc, with just a different coloured livery, thinking it will catch them more fish🙄 However, without these fools 1/2 these tackle companys wouldn’t exist.👍🏻
PS - if Hamidi had ANY credibility, they wouldn’t have had to put the word ‘Honest’ in the title of the video description?!🤔😏

Still using my SX's from 2004, battery life on those are unbelievabley long especially with the MK2 illuminated euro swingers plugged in.
I have a set of fox str bite alarms from when I was a young boy and they are still going strong fox most reliable alarms around
I’ve got the old style micron mx’s. They are bulletproof
I love my fox kit. Sensible prices in the main, although I get what others are saying, the top-end stuff is a bit pricey - but they're not a charity, they're in it to make a profit!
And how else would they fund Pitcher, Harrington, Making and Mozza making such great entertainment?
So yeah, I'm a fox fan.... For alarms though, I still prefer my Delks to my RX's. Sorry Ali.

Unfortunately Ali has absolutely no credibility here. Using him to do a review is a totally avoidable own goal. He raved about delks for years.
By all means, advertise him using your stuff (i use rx's and they are great) but anyone with any PR or marketing experience must know that you shouldn't use Ali for a review as he has no genuine brand alliance

And by the way your flouro carbon hooklink didn't let me down yesterday m8 as I try it at a club water with lillies and stood upto the task , definitely will be reordering m8. And the run kit a great bit of kit and yes the long range hook beads don't move at all .all the best in your new adventure

Quality wise Fox kit can't be beaten. I still have a set of origional microns. They are 25 or so years old... still work on the button... tried delkims.. but to be honest.. too annoying...

Even brought the brought the qc bars to update. The thing I get pee off with is that for years Ali was using delkim hype them up so much gave me headach lol I’m not knocking fox alarms had set fox warrior alarms I got free from a magazine subscription great alarms for my 1st ever set. Manage to save money up brought set of delkim and got pee off due to if anyone else had run make me jump up for no reason lol. Went to att had them for 3 years sold them my mate still use them to this day 3 years later brought myself set of r3 had them 3 years and still going strong.

when did Ali switch to fox? Korda must be slacking. As for the alarms im not a fox fan. had them long ago and didnt care for them stupid small battery's that i never could find anywhere locally and always had to order that took days to get.
He says in the video exactly what batteries these are.... They are off the shelf most common battery in the entire world.
These use AA batteries can get them anywhere 👍 Ali has been using Fox kit since approaching us over a year ago to use our gear 💪

Tom maker uses the mini microns that you can get for around £200 for a set of 3 with receiver.uses them in stead of these 🤷🏼♂️

Are you working for Fox now ? Just asking really . Fox alarms are brilliant. So are Delkims Too ,used both from the early 80s up too now .
Ali doesn't work for Fox, he has his own tackle company and uses the products he choses to these days

Like every review all about sales I've had these alarms for around 2 years let me tell you the battery life isn't good at all if you are using them regularly always needed to carry spare batteries around but apart from that they are good just wish they had stuck to the old 9volt battery then I think 🤔 they would have had the perfect alarm only other issue I've had with them is the roller wheels freeze up in winter but it was extreme weather-5 and heavy snow ❄️ lol 🤣

Sorry but I'm a cynical old bastard that has been around since the time when Heron bite alarms graced the bank. I've seen the leaps and jumps from beds to bivvies to reels etc, I've also seen the raise of the "high profile angler" and the sheer bullshit that spouts out of their mouth. I've seen over the decades so many of these guys review products from their pay masters to suddenly down the line getting a deal with a new company and hearing all the same old bull and in a lot of cases some of these anglers are on to their fourth or fifth company.
I see the kids lap up this crap and buy products which as we all know is exactly what you want but these poor saps fork out the dollar. Myself personally like to see anglers using kit on the bank, see it ask for their personal review and if possible have a cast have a sit and form an opinion based on several I've seen and used. Hence I have Fox korda, avid, Delkim, ESP, Trakker, Thinking anglers etc. Yes you produce good alarms but I don't need a light to come on and neither do I need a different tone to tell me I have a drop back, I just need the alarm to signal a pick up I don't even need a light but then thats me.

He has chosen to use these over any other alarms currently on the market, so that will tell you all you need to know. Contrary to what the negative nellies on here like to think, he is not paid by Fox to use these or any other products.
