Never come across your videos previously but what a refreshing change it is not to be told to go spend silly money on x. Great reviews are hard to come buy especially ones which arent biased or sponsored.
I don't think you need the latest gadgets to catch fish. However people generally like nice stuff, so when a company like sonic makes their tackle affordable and good quality they are onto a winner. I'll be bagging myself a set of these today, great review 😊
The only issue I’ve had with the herox range is the line running under the spool I’ve actually had a couple crack offs because of this. But could be anglers negligence and the fact I’m using a 10000 big pit reel in a leisure lake lol
@@CvdW5 I’ve got the rods and reels at the moment. The rods are really good I’ve got 3.25lb test curves and they can handle pretty much anything, you just have to be careful with the reel as if you’re not paying attention it’s very easy for the line to run under the spool or off the spool and the reels are very clunky til you break them in.

The sonik sk-47 rods and reels are by far the best sonik have made. Line doesn't get caught under the guard at all on the sk-47 reels they are excellent the rods are awesome also and I have the fox x5 rods but prefer the sk-47 rods. And the also look the part absolutely stunning looks
Sonik already used last 5 years amazing rods and price, first reels was bad, and get this here x reels , really surprised be price and quality, not sure about alarms and rod pod
I think we need to take a step back and not be brainwashed with the " carp fishing is expensive" quote!!! because it isn't expensive and the stuff they're tryna sell is un needed... If ur thinking of starting fishing and you dont wana spend ur money on loads of crap you don't actually need, sit down make a cup of tea and Watch "Chris yates"...

How do you link a new alarm to the receiver please

I had some sonik ones I turned it all the way down and still well loud can you turn it all the way down with them ones
I think they have a silent setting
Yh i just got mine and silent setting is game changer
I have my alarms on mute and the receiver set low.

They just need to bring out some hardcases for added protection in transit

Agreed. I carp.fish, have done for ages. I use shakespeare, ngt and Korum tackle, I catch plenty of carp and it's not expensive at all.
