I've used a second hand set of these for the past year and they are great. Even bought a 4th alarm from Saber and hooked it up to the receiver for when my son comes out with me. Does exactly what it needs to do. Only issue I have find is the triple A's in the receiver seem to drain power even when off, so just remove them when not in use.
I have had a set of these for a few years now and they are good alarms. However they have one big problem. When lifting the rod the line gets caught in the guides almost every time. I had to file down the plastic part of the guide to stop this.
Just for info, tried Duracell LR1 which are supposed to be compatible with A23 type batteries but they just wouldn’t work, bought Energizer A23 batteries & they worked fine. The Duracells were a tight fit & suspect that is why they didnt work
Think you got the wrong Duracell batteries mate the LR1’s are E90 batteries. The duracell A23’s are called MN21. Don’t know why they decided to come up with their own names bit silly really.

Customer service from Sabre is non existent so I would avoid.
