For example, we see aug with a 0.63% pick rate, but an above 80% win rate. Not to mention that some specs seen in higher levels of play are counter-picked by other classes - For example MM hunter absolutely diddles frost mages.

as an outlaw i can confirm that outlaw kind of slaps if they don't tunnel you. everyone put it in lowest tier rogue so i almost didnt level up and gear mine.

I'm a returning ret player and I'm doing awful, can't break 1500 in solos, I played dragon flight s1 to 2400 and now I've switched to Blitz BG to have a 20%winrate, terrible first week of PvP and I don't think I'm doing too bad I'm usually top damage or at least top 3. Praying week 2 goes well for me or I'm switching to PvE and relax with my guild lol. losing my mind over this game

I think we're pretty good in blitz but trash in SS. 100% of the time you're kill target and in 1900ish lobbies it's all caster/mm or feral atm. It's rough. I recommend queuing blitz tho!

Hunters just piss me off with how many times they can evade stuff. Their damage doesn't bother me, it's the sheer number cringe vanish/feign death/detargetting spells they have.
I’ve def contributed to the Aug numbers, 9 matches and won all of them in bg blitz. Huge AoE cc, divide n conquer in good spots to force healers up into my team or their melee die. Plus really good burst dmge with max upheaval, good lord the support and damage is magical. No one ever focuses you either 🤷🏼
Could you give a brief explanation of your job as Aug? I came back at the end of df and leveled one. Right now I'm playing dev and just got to 1600 in bgb but kind of like the idea of being support
Preservation is by far the hardest to heal with at low rating because when your teammates get low they panic and run out of range. This is why I stopped playing it. I even have a macro that I use at the start of every round to tell people not panic and run out of range, but it still happens almost every time
There is some Trump level math here honestly, the winrates are almost uniformly positive, some by alot, the few negative winrates are not all that negative. Something is clearly off with these stats, what am I missing that none mentions it?

It's because there's a rating cutoff. This is only looking at 1600 or 1800+ rating which likely requires a positive winrate to get to considering the rating deflation we have this season. This is especially true for the healers. If we looked at ALL ratings the winrates would be wildly different.

Holy priest is terrible rn in arenas. Shuffle against disc priest feels completely impossible, especially if theres a mortal strike affect. Every game discs shield prevents 10-15x more damage (even with 2 points into shield absorb talent) and is their top heal. Clueless dps let them freecast the entire game. Some games they double my healing, attonement and shield making up 70-80% of their heals.
Mm is soo good rn cause dev and frost mage are so good countering a lot of melee players also mm counters mage really good. Mm is actually one of the few classes that still has to stand still to cast their main ability aimed shot
I am normally 2.4k+ player in shuffle (playing all melees) but currently hardstuck 1.7k in shuffle on enhance. I can't get my head around how people have success with this spec.
The most losses are under the non counted raiting, 1400 mmr i think. The players that are 1400+ have positive winrates, which get eaten up by the 1800+ ones.
Outlaw is so low because the rotation feels so incredibly bad to play that no one plays it until the other two rogue specs are unplayable and they have no other choice.
I dont think rotation feels bad, i enjoy it but its really not designed for pvp, you really have to be untouched during your dmg windows to be good and its almost impossible
well no shocker frost mage is highly populer with high win rate with zero fucking castin as a caster.. At this point classic ERA rotation feels more difficult wich consist of spamming 1 button.

High popularity might mean there's a lot more average players currently doing well with the OP spec, whereas only the hardcore arms players are sticking to their class.

52.93% win rate at above 2100 is below average btw, so saying ret is doing well is misleading. In fact it is the 3rd lowest on this list at 2100+

Disc priest shouldve had Archon instead of Oracle. First time I saw Archon I thought it was a Disc spec.
