    Btw, Scout should be able to go to Worlds since a bunch of his ex-EDG teammates (Jiejie, Meiko) as well as Gala lent him money to pay the court. It doesn't mean Scout's court case is over, it just means the court will allow him to leave the country legally before they resume the case after Worlds.

    I always felt like one of the LPLs advantages is that they have such a big player pool to recrute from but seeing these teams now, it's still the same names coming out on top since so many years. Scout, Jackylove, Xiaohu, Tarzan, these people are old school man.

      Same with other sports too. I think it's because good habits are easier to maintain than to learn. So the new players need to learn macro, team concepts, how to be in a team, dealing with pressure etc. Older players are still mechanically competitive but don't need to catch up in learning. New players need to hope their mechanics can overcome the deficit in their team play.

    I can't be the only LPL fan who didn't like some things in this video? Yuuu is cool and all, but is by no means an analyst or someone's whose opinion should be taken in a video like this. I know, that she is sharing the opinions of Chinese fans which would be fine in itself but she also inserting her own opinions in these comments which I don't think paints the region well. Also, what she said about the perception of Knight is I guess fine and all? But if you've been following her twitter you'd know that she hates knight and is absolutely biased against him. I can't help but feels like some opinions on players are cherry picked, like chinese fans only say good things about Crisp but call Light not aggressive enough and a coward?
    The video also calls Knight a "solid" player. Bit of an undersell in a top 3 player coming into Worlds I'd say. Isn't the term solid usually reserved for players who are good and reliable, like usually tank players who perform well? Its just a weird description for a top 3 carry player coming into Worlds.

      As a Chinese Knight fan, I want to explain that on Chinese internet, there are indeed a lot of haters of knight, but a significant portion of them are JackeyLove's fans who spread negativity and biased about him. This is a fact, but directly stating in Cadrel's video that Knight is considered a coward is clearly inappropriate. This is a key channel for many Western viewers to understand the LPL, and there's no need for them to be exposed to the internal disputes among Chinese fans.

    GenG clear favorite besides their Worlds slump narrative, then BLG for their dominion over their region, then HLE for their current form which expectations are already overwhelmed, then T1 for what they represents and being at least on semis every Worlds they went it. Here is the top 4.
    But rankings are clearly established.
    GenG demonstrated at least on MSI his superiority over BLG.
    BLG is uncontested on LPL and have big roster.
    So HLE comes behind as 1' seed, on the shadow of GenG who dominated entire season violently, and Orange stands as their supposed second rank on Korea for the year. As fan, i imagine them able to overcome BLG on late BO5. But it will be wild.
    T1 is clear number 4 for their usual buff Worlds, some narrative around their also usual summer slump and their abilitie to rebound, last dance potential for their 5 main since nearly 4 years.
    And like Caedrel said naturally on previous video, as searching for potential Worlds winners not being the ones so much predicted (GenG and BLG first of), HLE and T1 will come automatically in mind. Who else?
    Background, ceilling, weird buff on meta, highest stage, taste of blood..
    Both teams have players who have it. You know, THE thing.
    But T1 will have to show wayyy better level.
    Now, they're just looking 2 steps below Big 3 favourites teams on paper, and on the year.
    Of course, they'll give way better version at Worlds. And it will be frightening for some teams not able to stand their aura. They can find their pace once again.
    TES, Damwon and LNG are big outsiders.
    Deep run is highly possible if one of top 3 doesn't sustain his presumed rank and ended up choking. And if they're all peaking on same time for the tournament (like DRX or on lesser level Weibo last year).
    For Weibo, they are big dark horse. Never discount team who already made deep run at Worlds before.
    G2 or TL potential upset for the 8th place? But not so much far away after. Like they will stop obviously at quarters, besides miracle.
    This is how it stands babyyyyy.

    • @hampustornros
      @hampustornros หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      I don't think GenG are a clear favorite. BLG has leveled up massively since MSI. They no longer have Xun who was a liability, with Wei there Knight's form has also skyrocketed and ever since Wei joined the team, Knight has far and away been the best player in the LPL. The team is very different from how they were at MSI. The meta changes are also more beneficial to BLG than they are to GenG. Wei's comfort picks are meta, Knight's best individual champions are coming back into the meta, Bin's Jax is buffed to a very strong spot and so on. BLG is at worst an equal favorite.

    • @samwisehuluberlu2210
      @samwisehuluberlu2210 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@hampustornros we'll see that. You have probably good assumptions. About MSI showdown, it's on the past yes but factual. BLG is not kind of team i see rolling on the Worlds stage like T1 2023 or Damwon 2020 did. Not about raw talent, but about handling pressure. Knight is not a killer for me. He roll on everybody when everything is cool. On notice, it's the same for GenG. But yes, if you want, i can conceed they are on par with GenG. Jax buff is also good for Doran and HLE.

    • @qianxiangji2910
      @qianxiangji2910 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@samwisehuluberlu2210 I personally dont think Hle will have the great potential at world. Doran is not comparable with Bin or Kiin, he made so many terrible mistakes in the Lck grand final. Zeka and Knight are difficult to say, the meta is beneficial for both of them. The other positions are 50/50 for both teams.
      Each top 3 team has their own weaknesses, like blg has On as Hylissan, Geng has peyz as an unstable weak point, Hle has Doran and Peanut as world chokers, so I think the champion will be Blg/Geng, depends on how they perform on the day.

    knight is probably the best chinese mid ever (along with xiaohu) but he still doesn't even hold a candle to Korean mids, I would still heavily favour scout, bdd, zeka, chovy, rookie and even faker and showmaker who are a bit rocky atm. Ive only ever seen him do decent against faker and struggle against every other Korean mid. Also any team with fraud69 isn't going anywhere

    • @AsamatBagatov135

      he literally has never played against bdd or showmaker, has been WAY better than rookie in lpl for the last 3 years, also slightly better than scout. SHAT on faker and chovy at MSI 2023 and shat on faker this MSI. Also when zeka was in lpl he was way better than him. Anyone who doesnt think Chovy is the best mid and knight is the second best in the last 2-3 years is just genuinely delusional.
