I think the events of Jason’s origin taking place on Halloween could be a reference to Jason’s return in the Arkham games also taking place on Halloween (or at least during the Fall). That or the spooky time of year is just cool. I like that too.

I think the reason there are different costumes some times when there really shouldn't be is because they have spares and Alfred has their primary costumes in the wash. Like with Batgirl's gloves and boots not being right with the flash back, she could have gotten them dirty and had them in the wash the time directly before being seen with different gloves.
My sugestion... Everything is a new continuity made after the Chronos Duology in JLU. Thats how im surviving the continuity crazyness of the comic and emjoying anyway

OK, I think it's time we developed a single blanket-statement for all costume-related continuity conundrums. I think the reason there are different costumes some times when there really shouldn't be is because they have spares and Alfred has their primary costumes in the wash. Like with Batgirl's gloves and boots not being right with the flash back, she could have gotten them dirty and had them in the wash the time directly before being seen with different gloves.
My sugestion... Everything is a new continuity made after the Chronos Duology in JLU. Thats how im surviving the continuity crazyness of the comic and emjoying anyway

Jason's robin costume is a nod to the weird ass costume her wore in the pre-crisis comics. He was blond there and had to dye his hair.

jason's robin suit is VERY reminiscent of his pre-crisis proto robin costume (I'm sure a dozen other people have said this, but the urge was irresistible)
Jason’s Robin costume appears to include a couple of details that are similar to his Pre- Crisis suit. Both the belt and the boots look similar to how that costume looked.

The flat screen TV thing doesn't bother me at all, as the series is pretty obviously using Comic Book Time, IMO. That means that it's more or less taking place NOW (or whenever you read the comic), so 4-5 years before would obviously be a time when flat screen TVs and smartphones were around.

It was weird but I was rooting for Jason to kill Crane just because it would lead well into his TNBA design pretty well, but then he was fine and i was dissapointed. Never thought I'd want a hero to kill someone.

I'm starting to think that Jason and Dick were Robin st the same time. Like Dick goes to college and can't be Robin as often, Jason shows up and takes up the mantle when Dick can't, something happens and Jason disappears/dies/something, Dick isn't happy because Jasons gone, then he finds out Babs is Batgirl and rage quits because he's not about to deal with this nonsense again after Jason supposedly kicked the bucket, and then lost years happened.

I'm kind of sad that this is beginning to feel like one big toy commercial instead of a genuine group of stories to expand the continuity of the DCAU. Like for example I loved your guys' pitch for having Azrael's origin be tied to a DCAU version of The Battle for the Cowl which would be set sometime after Bruce retired. And focusing on all these people who've adopted the mantle of Batman or becoming vigilantes themselves.

OK, I think it's time we developed a single blanket-statement for all costume-related continuity conundrums. From now on let's just assume that there aren't any 'new' costumes, every character has always just had a wardrobe full of different costume variations and what they wear just depends on what's in the wash that day. There, no more costume continuity migraines.
