They probably wouldn’t because most of the complications with his look came from them just putting his face model on Arthur’s body, so if in the remake you play only as John and Jack they shouldn’t have that problem

It would be a nice side story, there really isn’t a huge amount of content they could do imo. But if they piggy backed it off of an RDR1 remaster as a short story that would be interesting
They can build off the RD2 elements for the RD1 remaster cutting the production time in half. It's a win/win for Rockstar to remaster/remake RD1. That's a long standing win with many profitable factors for them on top of GTA6.
