Admittedly though RDR2 seemed very passionate, and luckily RDO failed. Perhaps that'll push them to focus on developing a good, new game.

Atleast what I would have wish they added was the ability to wear Arthur’s hat. Right below the Golden Guns setting in the options there would be an Arthur’s Hat option you can toggle on and off and it would simply replace your hat on all outfits that have hats with Arthur’s and the textures downscaled a bit to match the first game. I think that would be a great nod to the second game.

I played the original PS3 version way back when it released, but nowadays it's basically unplayable, the resolution on the PS3 is awful and it still doesn't keep 30fps. When I heared that they finally patched a 60fps mode in the PS4/5 version, I instantly bought it. Finally being able to play this game in 4k 60fps is amazing.

Used to play this with Valentin in multiplayer too. There's something about the athmospher of this game that truly touch my soul amazingly. The soundtracks fit the landscapes perfectly, it's mystical. That feeling of loliness, the desert. I love it. Red dead 1 is one of my fav game of all time. As someone who played this game on a PC emulator, the PS5 version looks identical to the emulated gameplay(which is just the original game with resolution increased)
It can but rockstar just didn’t put the time to make the port run at 60fps. We’re in the dark era of gaming honestly. Where quick half baked products sold for an expensive price is the guideline. I do believe the gaming industry will get better in the future, but until then, we’re fucked.

I mean, im glad that people that are happy with a basic port will get the chance to play it on their Switch, or PS5. Its an amazing game and holds up well, even today. But R* KNEW we wanted a full blown remaster. This could have been epic, playing RDR with RDR2 visuals, or even better. Was looking forward to playing this in 4K/60 FPS.
Personally, I think the blurriness added to the experience. It would have been nice to have that blurriness, but high-res textures. The oversharp appearance can detract from the overall experience of the original.
