I get the whole "don't judge a book by it's cover" thing, but then they find out that he did the kind of thing only a pompous rich d-bag would do. Sometimes the cover of the book matches it's contents.
Any sane woman would have given up on him then and there, divorced him if they were married, taking half of what little he has, sued him for the rest, and moved on to someone she can actually trust.

Those who need to constantly verify their partner's activities have a much deeper problem than the person possibly "cheating".
As a guy who just recently turned 28 years old and who’s never had a girlfriend ever in his life, even a guy who’s never been a relationship can know and see that this love this woman has for this man and the love he has for his wife, this is not love. This is nothing but a fairy tale over the top kind of affection that has people like herself so blind sided.

@@Richard482 1. I don’t know how to talk to girls. I don’t know how to approach and ask them out. Maybe it’s the fear of rejection that plays a hand in it. Although I did have my first date 5 years ago when I was 22.
2. It’s not like many girls have an interest in me anyway which isn’t the end of the world because living life is doing what gives you joy, not companionship; companionship is only a contributing factor to having happiness in life, not a 100 percent happiness.
3. I take things very seriously and often think a relationship might distract me. Back in highschool a classmate of mine asked if I could be her boyfriend for a week. I told her “Will dating you get my grades up?” She said “No”. Then I said “Then no. We have better things to do right now; things that will determine our future.
In 10th grade I went to a concert and one girl asked me out but I lied to let her off easy because I wanted to save her life.

Watching this as someone who practises in medical negligence litigation, I’m seeing so many red flags not from the husband but from the doctors!! Take her to a sterile environment with decent painkillers and systems in case she crashes or has a reaction 🤦♂️

A TV doctor. No real doctor would do this. It is FAR too dangerous and the chance of infection is much much higher without a sterile environment. Plus who would remove something without knowing what exactly it is or how deep it is, what it’s connected to etc.?

I thought they usually take an XRay before an MRI to check for any metal the patient didn't mention.

@@weirddan455 If the patient is at the hospital they get a Xray before. If it is an outpatient then they fill out a screening form that asks if they have any metal or surgeries. If the patient can't talk or anybody else can't tell the MRI tech then they will not scan if they do not know what type of implant is in the patient

An MRI magnet is not just active when it's on, the magnet is strong and dangerous all the time: when you go for an MRI test, you have to remove all metal before you get anywhere near it. If they bring one in a trailer, you can't have any metal in the trailer: you can't sit on the MRI bed and remove your jewelry. As the character says, it would remove it for you. And not gently. What she doesn't mention is, it would probably remove your fingers in the process.

I was a kid whose dad had a tracker on my mom's vehicle. It was completely traumatic with abuse and extreme boundary violations. He even purchased burial plots for my brother and I right next to his own - and reminded me when he was worried I'd stand up for myself. Stalking isn't remotely sweet or done out of love.

A lot of people, even in the medical field, don't understand how abusers function. When you've been through it, or educated about it, then you understand. I've had to educate my co-workers (since I had been through it) about the signs and how to handle the situation to protect our patients.
I find shows like this are part of the reason the young generation are getting so abusive. I get the impression that she hadn't been happy with his actions almost killing her, people would be upset by it. I've seen controlling behaviour like this a lot. It's utterly incredible.

I totally get how she can be so blind...... It starts slowly.... Constant calls asking about your welfare.... You think.... Wow he is so caring..... And then he paints himself as a victim who has been really hurt by women... So you allow the constant monitoring just to reassure him.... You tell yourself that soon he will realise you are different and that he can trust you. Then they give you a key to their kingdom..... A while later you practically move in. When he is away he ensures that you are under his roof. Then the cracks really bust open.. he saw a guy talk to you... He asks and since you did nothing wrong... You are honest..... Let me not add the many scenarios where his own buddies proposition you..... It was a long toxic relationship that lasted a year. Luckily for me i am so marriage phobic that when he randomly suggested it.... i just panicked. Well the saints are working coz a short while later an ex girlfriend came to brag how she had gone on a trip with this guy.... Eventually she decided to confess it was my boyfriend... She even had pictures...it wasn't the first time..... The only thing I could see was how miserable i actually was ... It was the trigger for me to leave.
To be honest.... A guy friend of mine point blank asked why I was making myself miserable. That sometimes there is nothing wrong with choosing ourselves first. It was an eye opener. And when the confession happened i decided staying wasn't worth it

Why wouldn't they have done an X-ray first? After an accident one is usually examined for bone damage first, this "RFID" would been seen in an x-ray without causing the physical pain.
I think they think, due to the nature of the car accident, that her symptoms preceded the accident and there might be some neurological issue.
@@Jermbot15 Doesn't matter, if you're in an accident involving one or two vehicles, X-rays are the First things done to ensure no bone, spine, lungs, neck or cerebral damage is done. If they x-ray the lungs looking for rib damage, they could've seen it then. I saw a few episodes and they never worried about medical accuracy.

If your ultimate goal was to be the random person on the internet trying to provide medical advice you could have just done that without falsely presenting the impression that you cared about the information in the clip you're watching.
If I, however, am ever in a car accident and feel the need to go to the hospital, I'll probably just let the doctors in the emergency room or walk-in clinic decide if I need an X-Ray first or at all.
@@Jermbot15 well, "Kid", nowhere in my post do I give any kind of medical advice, I have several friends that work as EMT's. and it is standard practice to do x-rays of traffic accident casualties, whether they are seriously injured or not. Neck, spine and Lung injuries can easily be overlooked without x-rays being done.
@@djs12007 Sure you did. Your advice was, in the event of a two automobile crash, to get an x-ray to check for damage to bone, spine, lungs, neck or "cerebral damage." I can only assume you changed format from listing vague anatomy to providing adjectives because you couldn't think of the word 'cerebrum.'
My advice will continue to be to trust decisions about courses of medical treatment and diagnosis to someone whose educational requirements go beyond a two semester course. Seriously, firefighters learn how to do your job in their down time. You're not a paramedic, you're not a nurse, you know about as much about treatment and diagnostics as a dogwalker who watched half a season of Grey's Anatomy.
But I'm glad I gave you a platform to lecture about what you've learned as an EMT.

MRTs don't work that way. They are on 24/7 normally as in, there is an extreme magnetic field 24/7 and it is extremely costly to turn it off an on. It is also eating even if you are not 'in' the machine but around it. Our Prof told us s story who got in the room of the MRT machine either a cleaning machine. Got stuck to the MRT. Had to turn the hole thing off and on again. Very expensive.
