Imagine studying so hard to work in the US and you're told your degree is worthless by American standards. People from the respective countries should know better than to lose their self respect.
It not just doctors it any foreign trained professionals thay have to go through college again in the US witch I think it's bs because we need them but no let's make everything so dam hard and then wonder way we have skilled labor shortage
I don't watch this show. To someone who does. Do we see her again? Does she become a regular character? Or is she a one off?
The local VA hospital would hire her.
The US government gives green cards to drs from other countries, lots of them go to work as drs in VA hospitals.
That's why I can not watch any medical show, this one makes me even more upset.
Didn’t she the homeless woman get a spot at New Amsterdam?
What about a F***ing JOB
meh, it was done better with "Bob" in ER, back then the quack had a LITTLE decency & WAY more humility, plus they got her into training to pass her boards. (S1E10)
most hospital staff are arrogant like this
Was she a combat medic or something?
3:59 she said Pakistan paediatric attending
Note: an eighth of all doctors in America aren't American. Due to a combination of high tuition & unhealthy lifestyles, America produces too many patients and not enough doctors. Immigration is pressured to accept people w/medical training from countries w/strong education systems. Some of those countries, like India & China, have people who are willing to come here where pay for medical staff is higher than where they're from. But w/half our country overrun by racists, some of the people who are saving our lives are endangering their own.

Pretty typical attitude for a doctor.
The amount of force used here is ridiculous. It’s a needle, not a pencil…
I hate that I invested to the lesbian storyline then get ripped off by the writers
The story was...Good...but also kinda forced.
In many third World Countries many people study to become professional doctors but due their countries slow economy there is huge unemployment or instability so they have no choice but to migrate to Europe or America and do small time jobs to make ends meet
a lot of immigrants are either taken advantage of by getting underpaid or unfairly let go from jobs even after giving their 110%. but the realty is its often people from India and not Pakistan. the story writer doesnt know his brown people properly.
Why is it I don't like that actress? I stop watching that series because of her.
Sorry but I’m new here, is it real or just a scene?
TV show, although stuff like this does happen a lot irl unfortunately
Too much cringe ...I'll 🤮
Love how the junky doctor thinks she’s better than the homeless doctor. Her character was such trash the whole show 😒
I started watching this series, which initially was interesting because I enjoy medical stuff. But around the third season it went OFF THE RAILS woke! Now everyone is spouting every crazy woke propaganda there is and it lost it's way! Can't even finish it's so bad. What a shame but it's a good representation of woke and crazy New York!!! 🤮
Greys did too
And The Resident
All 3 are sick
this show is stupid
