    Lubegard Cvt fluid is the best by far. My 2018 Nissan Maxima which I hated that car but it was sold to me for like 5000 bucks with 80,000 miles when I got it. I was told the transmission was going when I got it,the dealer wanted 9,800 to replace .I totality flushed the fluid and added Lubegard and a Atf Cooler and drove it till it died, reset the car all lights went out and it was fine.I got rid of it at 238,000 miles and it was still running fine . I live in Townsend Tenn and I took that car on the Dragon tail road (Curvest road in the world) all the time and ragged that car out. I figured it would have died but nope, I have been told the Maxima has a Chain like my Subaru but I have also been told it has a belt. I know chains are much stronger. Heat is the problem with Cvt transmissions . I have a Subaru Crosstrek now and the fluid goes over 200 in the mountains ,quite often and even on the interstate the temp will rise. I am installing a Aux cooler next week on my car and will drain and flush the transmission again, I do every40,000 miles. Call a Transmission shop and ask them about Lubegard (Lxe Tech) It acts like a chemical heat sink. Also if you install a Aux cooler on your car make sure you tap the line after it leaves your radiator heading back to your transmission otherwise it wont work.

    It sounds like you’re reading a script handed to you by the manufacturers. How did you test these fluids? How many miles per usage? Which vehicles did you use? Do you have any images of the transmission once you broke it down to inspect for wear?

      There are channels that use artificial intelligence for voice work, for creating scripts, and so on. Yes, the real human still needs to select the voice (British accent) and the prompt format(make a 5 minute script about x topic) and piece the whole video together

    Can you tell me the difference and which is the better choice, #1 Castrol Transmax CVT or #6 Castrol Transmax ATF/CVT Universal for use in a CVT NS-2 transmission?

      You should use your vehicle manufacturer trans fluid, don’t use other company fluids, if you want to get a cheaper option, just look for who manufactures the fluid for you vehicle manufacturer, for example Nissans fluid is made by idemitsu, and you can get it for way cheaper than nissan which is only a label over idemitsu oil, you don’t want to mix cvt fluids with an off brand

      QUICK BIT: ALWAYS - ALWAYS - be sure you can REMOVE the FILL Plug - before you DRAIN the Tranny!! Check that you have whatever tool; make sure that you have correctly IDENTIFIED the DRAIN and the FILL (people have made some bad mistakes) - and MAKE SURE - you can start loosening that FILL Plug. You don't want to drain it; and THEN find out - you can't FILL it!!
      ******************************
      The Castrol Transmax CVT - is only for CVT trannys. So, I would use that. Except that I would use Valvoline Full Syn CTV #876133
      We purchased a used 2013 Outback a bit over a year ago. Had to replace the Catalytic; etc. It had about 190K on it. I drained the tran fluid (I ignored the Torque Converter - so it still had a fair amount of fluid in it) and refilled with Valvoline MULTI ATF /CTV full Synthetic.
      Well, we have almost 210K on it now - and the Tran was making some noise. Yesterday - I again drained the pan; and refilled with the Same Valvoline as previous. Noise went away.
      But this stuff is supposed to last a LONG time. Valvoline says it won't destroy your warranty. Ok. But does it still lessen the CTV tran life?? We called Valvoline Today and spoke with someone in Tech support. They said the Multi - was for if you have a number of vehicles; and don't want to have to have - a bunch of various types of Tran fluid. Tech also said the CTV only - is their BEST fluid for a CTV.
      Considering the prices of Subaru CTV fluid; etc. And that both Valvoline and Castrol - are not producing Junk - I believe it's fine to use what they say will work in a CTV. But I don't want to have to always be changing it because of the short life span - so now going with the Valvoline CTV only. Suggest you do the same - in either Castrol or Valvoline; or use OEM. I just recently got home from purchasing a new tran fill plug - since the one which came with the car when new - someone chewed up pretty bad. I thought about Castrol - and went to CASTROL on the web. I found their website not great and hard to actually compare various fluids. Valvoline much better that regard. So - purchasing some Valvoline CTV only - which will work in my 2013 Outback just fine. Hopefully a Long time; just as the OEM.

      @@BryanLebron72 exactly, never ever mix cvt fluid brands. I switched mine out very early on. Mostly because I knew I would be doing up to 2 drain and fills a year. So at first I did 3 drain and fills. Then waited a few weeks and did one more. Then like I said 2 drain and fills a year. Don't forget the cvt filters. Most have 2 filters. I've been running valvoline cvt now longer than the factory fluid was in the vehicle.

      Go ahead and use Amsoil CVT fluids. Everything is going to improve in your shifting, the quality of this brand is outperforming others. By the way, do not forget that Toyota does not make their fluids neither Nissan. That's why is not necessary that you keep using the same OEM fluid, and yes, you can mix fluids from different companies as long as they are the same compatiblity. Fresh transaxle oil plus a fresh transaxle filter are the best combination. (transaxle=transmission).

    Capping, complete useless video. Like everyone will say even the mechanics. Use the OEM. Whatever the car fluid transmission came with before, stick with it.

      It was a useless video. Other manufacturers make good quality CTV fluid. OEM is not required.

    • @ez_556
      @ez_556 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@daves7775 that’s not true. Machanics even say they don’t recommend it. You can’t mix with other fluid with the OEM. The Valvoline doesn’t count. That’s universal and that’s risk you can damage the transmission. I have seen it happen.

    • @daves7775
      @daves7775 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@ez_556 Got it. You know better than the Fluid Manufacturer's who GUARANTEE - that it will not cause problems - if your required fluid spec is mentioned. Valvoline Multi universal works just FINE. I've used it myself. I am switching to the CTV only though - because per Valvoline - it is a better fluid for a CTV application.
      You think SUBARU is making the fluid? Or Nissan; or Ford are making theirs?? And by the way - not sure how much a "mechanic" recommendation - is worth... but TWO things on that: I have seen BOXES and BOXES of O'REILLY'S Full Synthetic Motor Oil - in the Employee Only Parts Storage area of a Large Subaru Dealership. You think Subaru makes their Motor Oil??? Here, you come in for an OEM Oil Change - and they put IN - O'REILLY'S full synthetic.
      And I AM a mechanic. Aviation Airframe and Powerplant. I tend to consider the SPEC'S and the DOCUMENTATION more. I use what is authorized. You believe Valvoline or Castrol are incapable of Manufacturing correct "CVT OIL for LINEARTRONIC" or such Transmissions? The Manufacturer of these fluids GUARANTEES - that they meet the required specs.
