Early August! A mini dachshund🥰 I’m trying to do sooooo much research before they come home. First puppy! Raised a 5 week old kitten but never a 9 week old puppy so I’m excited!

This is really helpful! Not our first time having a dog but ww just adopted our first french bulldog. We were surprised how playful it is and some other habits too. Definitely felt like our first time having a dog. We just uploaded a video.

Oh Michelle. I got my puppy at 12 wks. How I wish I had subscribed to your channel beforehand. That first weekend I was a zombie. Talk about sleep deprivation, yikes!!!🥴 Everything you’ve mentioned is right on the money, and I mean literally on the money. I think I’ve spent at least 2 k including vet exams, one emergency visit due to diarrhea, pet insurance, puppy play pens inside& out, flee & tick prevention, training classes & doggie daycare. By the way, I have a really good daycare. They actually take the pups out to play and interact with other pups plus they share the videos of their daily activity . I have a Rottweiler puppy. Love the breed, my other dog is 11 yr. old Rottweiler also. He was 4 months when I got him. I thought having a 12 wk old puppy would be the same by comparison but, was I WRONG . Puppy just turned 4 months now, I’ still have to view your video on potty training again,& again. I always find that I’ve skipped an important part in the training. We’re better, but still pees his crate. Thank you!!!💯🐾🐾

I have a cavalier and I got her a bath myself and nails every 4 weeks. Grooming can be free if you do it yourself ☺️ but she’s also a cavalier, so her hair is kept long. No need for a hair cut That’s personal preference for that breed. Same the money and don’t ruin their beautiful coat with haircuts
I wish I could keep my handsome Cavalier's coat longer but he is such a boy, he loves to run, play, and romp around. He mats easily as you know with longer haired dogs. Shorter is our preference here for him. I love that you have a great grooming routine for your pup.

Dogs dont have to go to groomers, its a new thing, they never used to not ever.
We would definitely recommend you taking your pup to the groomer or grooming them at home! It keeps them feeling clean, comfortable and healthy. Here is a great video on preparing your pup for the groomer: th-cam.com/video/J74KgSDunXE/w-d-xo.html
