my wife & i were there in early september. we stayed in a quaint chalet in kampung padang gaong in ulu melaka overlooking paddy fields. it wasn't a touristy area like kuah but we loved it. evenythough it rained a lot, we had such a wonderful time. we hope to return early next year for stay around kuah, insyaAllah. have a great stay!
