iChang n Jimmy you have spent long time in Malaysia.. I think you should know how to speak Bahasa Melayu very well.. but you both don't want to learn how to speaking Bahasa Melayu.. just try to learn a little word from now.. one year later I think you both can speak Malay very well...
Kiwi people are the ones that can easily pick up the Malay language, probably because they are located quite near to Indonesia. I once had a friend from New Zealand, named David. He married a local Sikh lady, but both of them are Christians. He speaks fluent BM compared to his wife; he could even emulate the street lingo as opposed to his wife who speaks formal BM. Try search for Karl Rock, also a kiwi guy, married a local Indian lady and stayed in India. He speaks Urdu, fluently. Something about the kiwi people having tongues that could easily adapt to any language and lingo just like us, regardless of how difficult we perceive the language as.
interviewing nomads is a GOOD CONTENT 👍 pls interview more nomads on topic abt how the nomads can improve tourism in msia without the negative effects - ie, price hike in rental and F&B, overuse of energy (petrol, electric, tap water), destruction of nature, litter, grabage etc... how nomads can work together with msian gov to increase the Quality of tourism without all the above negative effects... beside other popular topics of course. makaseyyy guys ❤❤
Hard to realise if not travel out of the country. I travel multiple time, its happen to be Malaysia have many good thing if compared to other country as average citizen. Especially as Muslim.
This is true. It is sad actually sometimes you get to hear even the people in your circle speak as if any other country is better than Malaysia. I have not been outside but I have always put social media into good use to research as much as I can about everything around the world; history, law, religion, culture, food etc. Because of this, I appreciate this country more, the kind of society that lives in it, geographical location etc. It shaped me to the person I am. While some Malaysians have this mentality that Malaysia is so much behind everyone else in important aspects, there are Malaysians like me who feel that Malaysia has most things balanced and hope it will not change much in the future.
What a surprise, when the NZ man said pick up Malay languages fast by watching drama read the subtitle. It remind me my primary sch friend who did well in Malay subject, is same technic he told me !!
Love to see these people and their opinions. I have to agree with Oliver, NZ and Malaysia are very much similar. Just entered my 3rd year studying in NZ, I love the people, nature and culture here. It feels like home since I first came. Coincidentally, I’m from Seremban! It was a rare answer from him though but I’m flattered!
Terima kasih atas kandungan yang begitu menarik. Harapnya rakyat Malaysia menyedari betapa kepelbagaian dan kemajmukan kita itu menjadi kekuatan dan tarikan terbesar negara ini. My father is from jelebu but we kids grow up in P. J..... So happy to know that Oliver love and like negeri sembilan. A state that has been over look by lots of foreign people....
I agree, Jimmy & IChang, I hope you can pickup more bahasa , cos it's so easy, you don't have to worry about tences like past, present or whatsoever.Just talk to the locals in Malay, I'm sure you'll be fluent in no time, moreover knowing another language is an advantage.😊
Where else to start a new page than with the people from the same industry? Very interesting vlog though. It was full of positive energy and cheerful vibes. Keep it up!😊
For centuries, this land has been the meeting point for many countries. I'm glad that you all are enjoying your time staying here. I always welcome people with good vibes and energy coming here so that you can teach us about your country and culture as well.
Did not realize that there's so many nomads here, & I hear the word 'digital' a lot 😅 really interesting to hear other perspectives that come from non-content creators, normal people that come here for work...

Yeah, be like Takashi! Interviewing different mixed cultures in Japan.
Malaysian do not love Malaysia enough. I hope they will eventually come to realize how fortunate they are to be born Malaysian.
If they go overseas often, then they will find Malaysia is better than many countries.
I love malaysia, but not malaysian although being a malaysian myself. The unity is trash
