  • The best country in the world to get laser eye surgery as stated in the medical tourism guide which is trusted by over 1.2 million global healthcare seekers so here are the countries, United States, Germany, South Korea, India, Thailand, Japan, Spain Brazil and that’s it. I don’t understand is why malaysia isn’t on it because they have just as much to offer as all of the other countries in fact Singapore is literally on the doorstep so I have ventured into the best Klinik to see what they have to offer. This is my first video of the consultation. Keep watching for the second one where I will have the procedure.

    I would opt for invasive eye surgery only when really needed, ie must have rather than nice to have. Case in point is replacement of the lens due to cataract. I will use my natural lenses till they do not serve me anymore.

    IN GENERAL, MALAYSIAN HEALTH CARE SERVICES ARE ON PAR WITH OTHER MORE POPULAR HEALTH DESTINATION INCLUDING THE DEVELOP NATION, AT RELATIVELY LOWER COST. IN 1 OR 2 AREAS , MALAYSIAN MAY NOT GET THE KIND OF SERVICES THEY TOOK FOR GRANTED IF THEY LIVE IN SOME OTHER COUNTRIES. LIKE COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH SCREENING WITH REPORTS & CONSULTATION WITHIN THE SAME DAY. I DO NOT KNOW ABOUT BRITAIN, BECAUSE WHAT WE HAVE NOW ARE EVOLUTION FROM WHAT WE HAVE ADOPTED (ALMOST EVERYTHING) FROM BRITISH ADMINISTRATION. & FOREIGNERS WHO ENJOY MOST FROM MALAYSIAN HEALTH CARE SYSTEM ARE INDONESIAN. OUT OF A MILLION PLUS INDONESIAN WHO SORT HEALTH CARE OVERSEAS, 75% CAME TO MALAYSIA. WHY? COST EFFECTIVENESS FOR THE QUALITY SERVICES THEY GOT. EVEN WITH TRANSPORTATION & ACCOMODATION COST THROWN IN. THIS PROMPTED HOSPITALS PROVIDING PACKAGES WITH ACCOMODATION, EASY ACCESS TO HOSPITALS & FREE TRASNSFER UPON ARRIVAL.

    Lasik Is only laser treatment to the front surface of your eyes, the cornea. Far less invasive.
    Lens exchange is the same as cataract surgery, far more invasive, but done more routinely. Low risk of complications but still risks, and better for people 50s and over who are losing their natural ability to read and likely to develop cataracts etc
    Its not a light decisions and needs a lot more explaining in terms of options, risks and benefits. But it is done more abd more routinely privately as well now just for the prescription (& u dont get cataracts etc later)

    Well explained and the testing and test equipment is most advanced. The Part 2, involves SKILL. PRICE can be a factor. Loads of EYE Clinics in Malaysia. I could do with a eye test none the less to know my eye health and condition. Being Poor B40 person can we afford this kind of treatment?

    • @naduyn
      @naduyn หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Consume olive oil or castor oil daily to remove calcium deposits that we call cataracts until your vision restores. Also complement with hijama wet cupping and other therapies which are way cheaper for B40s.

    You are right. My left eye once hit an object right in the eye and the vision became blurry, only seeing shadows. When doing the examination, the doctor said my eyes were badly injured. Then I was advised to change the eye lens where I was asked to choose the far vision lens only or both far and near. I chose far and near and forgot the brand of the lens but it is made in USA which costs about RM100 only. The operation was very quick, less than a minute before my eyes were covered with cotton and adhesive. Less than half an hour the doctor called my name and opened the bandage. I didn't expect it, I was still able to see clearly despite the initial glare. I was allowed to go home wearing sunglasses because of the glare earlier. And now it's been more than 4 years, my eyesight is very clear full hd than before and I can read far and near without using extra glasses. Because in the government hospital I only have to pay RM20 and RM100 for the lenses.
