I'm preparing for an open abdominal hysterectomy and I'm so happy I found this. I feel more in control. I'm in my early 30s going through this, so it's rough for me.

I really appreciate you saying that you can start at any time. I had my hysterectomy surgery on April 4th, and then I lost my mom to cancer on April 29th. To say I lost interest in my physical recovery is a huge understatement. My mom was my best friend, and losing her was gut-wrenching. I'm just now realizing how much I've been neglecting myself. I need somewhere to start, and this looks like a good place.

Thank you, I didn't know where to start. My OB released me at 6 weeks to workout & lift. I asked for what I shouldn't do to prevent prolapse (she looked at me like I'm crazy). I'm still having mild soreness around my ribs. So great timing with this video as I was feeling uncomfortable working out.

These are great tips and I'm happy that I'm actually kinda on track with my recent hysterectomy. My exercise of choice is rock climbing and i hope i can get back to it in a couple months. I also have a pretty labor intensive job so im nervous about getting back to work but my bosses are pretty empathetic and it sounds like i can take work at my own pace for as long as I need

Thank you Jessica. I’m glad I’m
Not alone in having no guidance from my doctor. He’s a nice guy and got great reviews, and my GYN recommended him but he said I could lift 30 pounds immediately postop! I feel like I have no idea what to do

I’m at week 5 and having very little help I think I’ve been moving too much too fast . I’ve had a couple of days of bad pain and spotting on and off . I go back to heavy labor work in a week and I’m scared.. doctor has strict restrictions with max 20 pounds lifting but I need to work so idk how to go about this. Last week so I’ll start stretching more .

I just found you and I’m excited you give me hope . Question: I’m 60 and just had my six week check up total hysterectomy , I have another six weeks of restrictions same as the first six weeks . I’ve not done any exercise except walking ,and light housework which I did from the start . I’m not that physically in shape except for normal life . Where should I start exercising?

I've had an op a repair with mesh. And now have to have a hysterectomy which will be my 5th abdominal surgery. I will let you know if any of this works. But I get the feeling I'm never getting my fitness back after a year of 3 surgery's.

Ok so I’m 11 weeks after my full hysterectomy. I’m really thinking of buying your 10 week classes. But since I’m already at 11 weeks how would I go about this? Don’t buy it? I need guidance on lifting! The only workout I am doing is the one you posted about 9 months ago. I do that one pretty much every other day. Please advice me💚🙏🏼
If you suggest your program I will buy it today, I’ll trust you 😊

Try to lose as much weight as possible... just 5 days after my abdominal hysterectomy and the belly overhang is the biggest problem i have. Someone had advised me to lose weight as much as possible before surgery i wish i did that. 😢
