I'm preparing for an open abdominal hysterectomy and I'm so happy I found this. I feel more in control. I'm in my early 30s going through this, so it's rough for me.
Had my Laparoscopic hysterectomy on 29th March..went well.. God's blessings.. recovering well.. Finding proper workout videos so that no weight gain and to be fit 😊
I really appreciate you saying that you can start at any time. I had my hysterectomy surgery on April 4th, and then I lost my mom to cancer on April 29th. To say I lost interest in my physical recovery is a huge understatement. My mom was my best friend, and losing her was gut-wrenching. I'm just now realizing how much I've been neglecting myself. I need somewhere to start, and this looks like a good place.
I’m so happy I found you! I just had an abdominal hysterectomy + sacrocolpopexy. I went into surgery fit but not sure how to get back on track. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I am so happy to find you here explaining step by step … am actually in the 6th week and I am afraid to do any workout and I don’t even have any idea when should I start and what kind of exercises . I thank you so much dear.. you are the best ❤️😘🙏🙏🙏😍😍😍🙏.
You couldn't have posted this at a better time! I've only recently found your channel, and just scheduled my hysterectomy. So glad to have this for afterwards
Thank you, I didn't know where to start. My OB released me at 6 weeks to workout & lift. I asked for what I shouldn't do to prevent prolapse (she looked at me like I'm crazy). I'm still having mild soreness around my ribs. So great timing with this video as I was feeling uncomfortable working out.
Great infos! I wish I had seen this before my surgery, so that I knew what to expect, what to do,and what not to do.thank you so much! I did muddle along on my own…now at week 8, and I am keen to get strong again. Thank you so much!
So glad a friend sent me the link . It's my 3rd week after my hysterectomy. Have been wondering how or when I can start exercising. Thank you so much for this :)
I just this week, I had a complete hysterectomy.I am a yoga teacher, and I love to exercise. Thanks for your help and tips about how to start moving after the surgery.
These are great tips and I'm happy that I'm actually kinda on track with my recent hysterectomy. My exercise of choice is rock climbing and i hope i can get back to it in a couple months. I also have a pretty labor intensive job so im nervous about getting back to work but my bosses are pretty empathetic and it sounds like i can take work at my own pace for as long as I need
Thank you Jessica. I’m glad I’m Not alone in having no guidance from my doctor. He’s a nice guy and got great reviews, and my GYN recommended him but he said I could lift 30 pounds immediately postop! I feel like I have no idea what to do
Thank you so much Jessica you have really helped me I am 77 and have known I have a prolapse for about 3 years and only now doing something about it Am watching your podcasts and learning as much as I can Thank you again
I’m at week 5 and having very little help I think I’ve been moving too much too fast . I’ve had a couple of days of bad pain and spotting on and off . I go back to heavy labor work in a week and I’m scared.. doctor has strict restrictions with max 20 pounds lifting but I need to work so idk how to go about this. Last week so I’ll start stretching more .
Im booked in for a Laproscopic Myomectomy soon and this is helpful as i dont want to delay recovery but would love to get moving back in the gym by seek 4. Thank you ❤
I am having a laparoscopic total hysterectomy and glad I found this. How should I strengthen my core prior to this surgery? I also am having pelvic floor therapy prior and post surgery. I want to begin walking ASAP??? I want to be active.
I just found you and I’m excited you give me hope . Question: I’m 60 and just had my six week check up total hysterectomy , I have another six weeks of restrictions same as the first six weeks . I’ve not done any exercise except walking ,and light housework which I did from the start . I’m not that physically in shape except for normal life . Where should I start exercising?
Wow I’m the opposite- I am 3 weeks post op and cannot wait to do more movement- looking Forward to being able to get back to my regular workouts where I can work my abs again.
I loved this video thank you ! I have the 3 prolapse issues you had but no sign of surgery yet . I’m 43 and still want to exercise not sure what I’m allowed to do . Any help would be appreciated 💕
I've had an op a repair with mesh. And now have to have a hysterectomy which will be my 5th abdominal surgery. I will let you know if any of this works. But I get the feeling I'm never getting my fitness back after a year of 3 surgery's.
I'm in my first week after total abdominal hysterectomy. I have a 16cm incision. I'm walking around the house.. about 1000-1200 steps a day. I would love to do the ten week program. Where do i find it? how do i sign up??
Ok so I’m 11 weeks after my full hysterectomy. I’m really thinking of buying your 10 week classes. But since I’m already at 11 weeks how would I go about this? Don’t buy it? I need guidance on lifting! The only workout I am doing is the one you posted about 9 months ago. I do that one pretty much every other day. Please advice me💚🙏🏼 If you suggest your program I will buy it today, I’ll trust you 😊
Thanks for asking! It sounds like it could still benefit you as you haven't added any other workouts. You could start from week three and go forward from there!
Try to lose as much weight as possible... just 5 days after my abdominal hysterectomy and the belly overhang is the biggest problem i have. Someone had advised me to lose weight as much as possible before surgery i wish i did that. 😢
