Good video, I laugh a lot, it was funny how mad your daughter was when she couldn't remember the film!. It is not just about the cars , it's about the family. Someone will love the car, a lot of time an effort has gone into making it the best it can be without spending a fortune. It will be a one of a kind!

Thanks Andy! She’s quite the character. I can hardly wait to daily drive this thing. My brothers and I have always like pintos, pacers, gremlins and other oddballs. This one’s special to me for some reason. Even more so with the kids help building it.

Being in Arizona we do swamp coolers. They work awesome in low humidity. Lower humidity the better. It goes back to the ancient Egyptian people who would soak wool blankets and drape them over a frame. We tend to use aspen pads in them here. As I say though when we hit monsoon swamp coolers stop working. Around 30% humidity is the end of their effectiveness.

House I have now my first 10 years here we only had swamp cooler now I got AC I gave up swamp. They work till monsoon. Then we’ll it cools itself off anyway. Always a few weeks of uncomfortable here. I know Texas can be more humid. Wouldn’t work well in a place like Houston. I remember living in Houston in the early 90’s it was always 110% humid. Lol.

There have been quite a few humid days where the swamp cooler just makes us sweat more. In those cases we just use the fan feature. Overall, its been a blessing.

    Put bed liner in it

I cautioned against bed liner because of past experiences where the bed liner doesn’t fully cure. I didn’t want to deal with that mess on the interior.

I agree. Check out my previous videos. I repaired the fuel tank in one of them. They are nearly impossible to find.
