These seem like good positions to adopt throughout the day, and they are a bit varied on the one and only that I use. I know I will be visiting these movements again. Thank you very much for this presentation.

It seems to be excellent postures to help me with my back pain during flights. Thank you.

I just found your videos in searching for lower back and hip relief through the Feldenkrais Method. The first position relieved some nagging lower back issues. Eager to go through as many of your vids as I can. Thank you.

I instinctively found this position trying to heal my herniated lumbar disc. It was working during the most severe phase of my disc herniation, still doing it sometimes using a TENS unit on my lower back

Great to hear you discovered this too! I have more lessons that might help with aligning/toning your core in my Vital Back series on Patreon (some excerpts here on TH-cam) and the "Moving in the Dark - Bat Wisdom" had some nice lessons for working with the spine. My Owl series also had some good lessons that help with the core. The Walk in Balance series also works with the core, and my audio CD series on Balance can be helpful. My back warm-ups on TH-cam here may also be useful. Thanks for writing!

Hi Cindy, Coccyx (tailbone) injuries are tricky to heal since most positions put pressure on the bone. This is one of the best position I know to take pressure off the coccyx-- and it may take some time for the inflammation to go down, but this position will help with skeletal support and circulation to the area for healing. I have other ideas, but would encourage you to try this position often throughout the day to relief pressure on the coccyx

Hi Cindy, an injured coccyx may take time to heal-- This position helps since you can relieve some tension for the muscles supporting the coccyx. It'll take time for the inflammation and healing -- as I mentioned in the video, you may need to spend more time or frequencies of doing this. There are other things to help as well, but this is a great position. Good luck!
