Am i the only one that would've liked it if they made her hush instead? Like do what they did to her in movie 2 then reveal her as hush in movie 3... Boom!
The crazy thing is most criminals in Gotham even respected the Wayne family and many of the big crime bosses and such were shook by the death of the Waynes by some random guy. Even the bad guys knew that the Waynes were a symbol in Gotham, a symbol of power and respect. As the Wayne family is one of the oldest founding families of Gotham.
You basically had the experience I had, I was 100% a Spiderman kid. Im talking costumes, webshooters toys, the action figures, the whole shabang. I got into Batman through playing Batman telltale though, and then watching The Batman. They were all so good that I recently started the OG aniamted series and a few months back I watched these Nolan movies for the first time! So i def know you'll enjoy the other movies too!
In one of the comic books when Superman came in the Batcave and beat up Batman. Alfred rolled up and beaten Superman to a bloody pulp just to save Bruce.
While these movies have a lot of value, in their core there and really great representations of the comic book Batman. To get that, I can't recommend enough the amazing film Batman Mask of the Phantasm which is considered by comic book fans to be the greatest Batman film ever made. No other Batman movie dives as deep into the characters psyche as that movie does. It also has the definitive Batman and Joker with Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill.
22:26 'There is no 'relief' from JUSTICE!' The movie you can thank for the Arkham series. It restored a lot of interest in the character and had a game that plays like an early prototype of the series.
Great reaction!!! And yeah, Batman from the comics probably wouldn't have saved Ra's because he can go back to life via the Lazarus Pit, but in this film he can't do that, so in this case Batman SHOULD have saved him, either way, I love this movie
@@sharronbrennon899 I remember hearing a few things about that. Sad when you have to end your career for doing your job well. Reminds me of the actress who played the witch from wizard of Oz (the original), she loved kids but after the movie they were run away from her in fear.
¿remember in Spiderman 2 when Peter is not allowed to enter the theatre after the show started? doors are not suposed to open while the show is on to “mantain the illusion” that’s why they had to leave the theatre through the side door. 🙁 GREAT REACTION!!! instant subscriber !!! 💜🦇
Don't be afraid to check out some of the animated Batman movies they're 🔥 especially The Long Halloween. Also some of the animated series are a must watch, this includes justice league and Justice league Unlimited.
Definitely subscribed! I followed the Arkham gameplay, so I was waiting to see if you would get to a movie reaction. When you are finished with the Nolan Batman films, you should check the Batman comedy sketches by Pete Holmes. They are ridiculous and funny, I think you would get a good laugh.
Feels like a stupid question but have you seen Ironman with Robert Downey Jr? Ironman & Batman have always been my favs cause they are realistic heroes, no powers, no supernatural stuff, just brilliant minds with unlimited money and a undying devotion to do the right thing. Awesome reaction blaze bout to go check yur main channel
One of the issues this trilogy has is Rā's al Ghūl not being Arabic as he is described in the comics. Also, the name Ra's al Ghul is Arabic for "The Demon's Head". The Arabic pronunciation for the first syllable is "Rah-us". The character's creator however chose to use the Hebrew pronunciation "Raysh". Also the whole "I won't kill you, but I don't have to save you" is widely hated by comic fans. Batman in the comics goes out of his way to save criminals even when their lives are in danger which is a core essential of his character. These films also totally mishandled Scarecrow. Jonathan Crane was initially billed as the main villain of Batman Begins, before the reveal that Ra's al Ghul is the real mastermind. Scarecrow is one of Batman's greatest rogues, but the films he's appeared in would not have you think so. I really hope Matt Reeves uses him in the future in his movies, since he now has the perfect opportunity to redeem the character after the Christopher Nolan films brutally underused him. The film, despite wanting to take a more significantly more "realistic" approach with Batman than traditionally depicted, it shows its flaws with that approach more and more as these movies progress, but I'll save that topic for another day. Rachel Dawes barely felt as a real character. She wasn’t likable or charismatic, either played by Katie Holmes or Maggie Gyllenhaaland and is one of the worst examples of an original character created for the movies (she doesn't exist in the comics). The character was meant to inspire Bruce but I personally found her more annoying than inspiring. She has no real backstory, no real character development. What were her admirable traits? Stringing Bruce along I mean I get she was supposed to be a generic love interest but it was really poorly executed. Rachel was probably the weakest point of Nolan’s trilogy. And that's another thing, Batman should never want to stop being Batman (if he isn't in his old age) because it's completely antithetical to the core of his character. At the very most, he should consider it maybe once but in these movies it's all he talks about when talking about Rachel. Christian Bale is a phenomenal actor however unfortunately even though I thought he gave a really great performance as Bruce Wayne, his performance as Batman I thought left a lot be desired (especially considering Batman is the most important part to get right) and the extremely growly voice he used for the character it was hard to take seriously at times and it only gets worse in the later films. It's no secret that Batman voice has been mocked to death. I think he’s a wonderful Bruce Wayne but a bad Batman. Overall. this is a movie I appreciated a lot about, but never loved. The second one however is amazing (but it does have issues) but the third film I hate.
@@parsman9914 No no. I think this is a very admirable take on the character and really enjoy the first two movies (the third one is not great though). I just think that people exaggerate how true to actual Batman these films are and that they have no plot holes or inconsistent writing which they do. That doesn't take away from them being good but they are not perfect representations of the character. Sorry if it came off more negative than I intended.
From "Batman" (1966) (totally whack film) to "The Batman," there's a Batman for about anyone's taste. This is right up there with the TV live action version as my favorite.
Dude, if you’re okay with sitting down to watch a tv show, you should watch Gotham, which is a show based on Gotham City before Batman that follows Jim Gordon.
No, you can't save Ra's, I'm sorry. Look what happened last time Bruce saved him. And it's not killing to not save a murderer. It's making the right call. Ra's has to many acolytes that make sure to free him from any prison, and he would be right back at destroying Gotham.
Nah, Ra's ain't dead. Whenever he dies his goons drop him in the pit and bring him back lol. He's been around around from anywhere from 800-2,000 years. A train explosion ain't taking him out. Though in this trilogy they had it take him out.

This is actually my favorite live action Batman movie
After 2022, this one is demoted to second place. I still feel this is far and away the best of the Dark Knight Trilogy

Man, i suggest you to play the batman arkham series of videogames, you'll definitly enjoy those games if you haven't played them yet.
I like Begins the most out of the trilogy. Yes Ledgers Joker is captivating, but I just find this movie the most adventurous and stylish.
In one of the comic books when Superman came in the Batcave and beat up Batman. Alfred rolled up and beaten Superman to a bloody pulp just to save Bruce.
THAT WHY HE'S THE GOAT ! THE GOOOAAAT !!!
For context, Alfred was juiced up on Krytonian steroids to make it a fair fight.

The movie that brought Batman back into popularity. And the one that made me love Scarecrow
