Yeah, it requires a little tweaking to get it dialed in for HO cars, I think it came setup for 1/32 scale cars. It has some good features though at its price point.
It was not set correctly when you used it, adjusting the internal pot made a big difference in how it runs the HO cars. Someone else told me they come set for 1/32 cars and you do need to adjust the internal pot for it to properly control HO.
I think a better comparison would be this versus a Professor motor controller. Of the 4 he ordered , I am the buyer of 2 of those. I plan to compare it to a PM and a SCP-2 slot-it controller. As for having to adjust the Blue pot, it isn't surprising as they are primarily set for 1/32 scale and up slotcars. I also like that like the controllers are self contained. It's just a cleaner setup to me.
Thanks BigDaddy for the info, I figured it may have been set for a different scale and agree about them being self contained, I like that look as well.
I have these for visitors to my home track and I'm very pleased with them. I use their PWM controller for club racing, it works so well with a variety of motors, vintage and modern on various tracks
Yep I have one. They are fast becoming the most popular controller for HO racing clubs in Australia. The best value for money HO controller I’ve seen and used.
Thanks John, yeah the more I use it the more I like it. The trigger spring is a little stiff for my liking even at the loosest setting, I think I am just used to my Difalco controller spring.
If those guys get a US distributor and ship some inventory over here, they could really have something. Really interesting trigger contact. I like what I see. I'm inclined toward the MT1. I've been considering moving up from the classic Parma resistor controllers but they are just built like tanks and even though they have a limited ohm range and no drivability features, I'm never concerned about blowing out electronic components. But these British controllers are +/- tolerant and in my price range. I'm really interested. Thanks for sharing!
Yeah I like what I am seeing as well and the more I use it the more I like it. Took a bit to get used to the stiffer trigger compared to my Difalco but I am adjusting. I seem to have better control with this controller but the cars seem to go a little slower with this controller which is not necessarily a bad thing, helps keep the car on the track. The build quality seems good, it seems like it can take some abuse, I like the enclosed design.
Thanks for sharing! Curious to hear your final thoughts! Looks well made for the money! 😁👍🏁🏎
I will keep you posted, yes seems very well made and had a premium feel to it.
MSCG..those TS's are nice. I saw some videos on those, I like the trigger adjustment deal. Yea,do a video comparison 😎
Thanks, I plan to do a follow up after I have used it a bit more.
Definitely let us know what you think after using it for a while. I just picked up a OS3 All pro, like it so far.
Thanks, and yes I plan on doing a follow up. Glad you like the OS3.
Really well constructed, yeh?? Looks it
Yes! I was impressed with the build quality, felt very sturdy in the hand. Seems like it packs a lot of features for a very reasonable price.
Seems like a little more work than a DiFalco ??

Get yourself adjusted to the new controller and do a comparison video!!!!!!
That's my plan, thanks!
I did not like it but I only used it a short time today

Interesting I’m interested in how you like it I’m looking for a new controller actually
I will do a follow up once I get a little more time driving with it. Will keep you posted.

Hello Mark, I want to ask you that speed control system is positive wiring or doesn't matter??
My track is positive wired. Thanks.
Enjoyed your video! Looking forward to follow up video to.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Thanks for stopping by!
Is that a dual polarity controller or neg or pos only
Negative or Positive only, according to the side you need to specify which when ordering.
Hey, Mark, what did you do for connecting to your track? Alligator clips or phone plug?
Alligator clips, they are standard here for the most part. My Difalco and OS3 controllers already came with alligator clips. Thx.
Thank you Mark for your response, I just got my truspeed controller about a week.
Any time Harry, I think you will enjoy the TruSpeed, it's a nice controller.

The BP II does seem like a nice controller for the money. Thanks for checking out my videos.

Thanks for sharing mark and don't sound bad for the money let me know if it's any good look forward to the other video❤
Thanks Shawn, will do.

@@marksslotcargarage I bet if you put that two finger trigger on it, that stiffer feel will go away.
