Hi Mark ... before I started collecting TYCO cars early on in my 6 ,moth of being in the hobby LOL I really thought what you do with building and tools was where I was leading to , I bought the Harden Presses and Pullers and some parts off Terry , I even gave him a ring once , cause I was looking for tyco pre maid axle .. so when there were none Tyco he told me what viper wheels to by etc etc .. my point was then I get heavily into collecting cars ... way to expensive part of the hobby ... point being I really thought I would be more into what. you do .. yeah I need some more tools , but heck the money I have spent on TYCO cars compare to had I just bought a few cars , viper , super 7 ..heck I don't even know what all theses chassis are called ... so some cars, parts and tools it would be night and day money wise ... I have one of those scales but not sure how to build it as you have it ... Anyway I dont watch your channel enough to justify wining anything .. If i happen to win anything we can regift it LOLsee ya Mark

Mark, Excellent show! This is the direction I want to go into the hobby!! I’m going start fiddling and I figuring it out but eventually would like to get into car setups like you do. I’m Amazed at the tools like the dyno I’ve seen, your down force scale you use so much, gear and hub puller. So cool. When you were pulling the spring I immediately thought he needs a mini (coil over load machine) like a Dragon Slayer. Take that for what it’s worth. 😊 Definitely appropriate the video it got me super excited to get started!

Can you tell what is the best controller for these cars ??
Depends on your budget. A decent controller with a sensitivity setting is your best overall option as that controller will run just about any car. If you are looking for a good budget controller the Difalco DD505 or the OS3 Lite are both good options.

No, the track and controllers are wires for positive polarity, I can't just reverse the supply. I guess I could turn an axle around and let the car run the opposite way.

I know when i first set it up it was as near to the track we were club racing on so i could set my cars up to try to match the competion.
That comes in handy for sure. I find I setup cars that run great on my track but not so great on the track we are racing on...lol All part of the fun.
Really cool Packaging with those Rooster Racing cars ... Out of the guys I'm subbed to your probably the only guy that races competitively .. ( poss Scott a little ) I'm not sure he's in a deep are you ( by all means no knock on Scott , cause he is so busy with a lot of stuff ..The his Mustang and the channel , I will have to google Roosters site , Not that I will race competitively ... just want try one of these Roosters for the heck of it ... really sharp look with a clip and hard body I comment as I watch ..just so you know and at times my comments are too long lol .. @@marksslotcargarageI thank you for getting back to me, i am not racing and while we have been out west i haven't been able to put up a track, we are in the process of moving back to ohio where i can reclaim my internatioal 4 lane track from my son, so we will see what changes. I would like to build some chassis and do some racing back there.

Another option to consider when looking to up grade with out having to add more after market stuff for speed, does that make sence?
I think that's what the Rooster Racing version gives you, a car that is pretty much already upgraded as far as you can take it.
I guess the question is how fast or how much is enough?
I can't answer that...lol
At 65 dollars it is a definate up grade from aw or afx. It is a little higher than a vspec viper though.
Yeah the Super 7 is not meant to replace AW or AFX, it's a different class car. It also has features a stock Viper VSPEC does not have. By the time you pin the rear axle, add an independent front end and a balanced arm not to mention add a body and shipping you are way over $65.

Mark have you ever tried? The brass crown gears had great success and they sound awesome with an aluminum pinion gear.
I have seen them on Neo cars with 1 ohm arms and strong magnets. I think they are a bit overkill for a 6 ohm level 4 magnet car. Thx
