This is...and will always be my most favorite television series - ever. I think what Peter Morgan and his team created was absolute magic. And what the cast brought created even more magic... and together, along with everyone else behind the camera - a masterpiece was created. There's a reason why everyone refers to this series as the crown jewel of Netflix. And it will always remain so. Thank you to everyone who was apart of this project. You outdid yourselves. Bravo.
The only show in Emmy history to win best drama series, direction, writing and the 4 acting categories in the same year. I agree, it's one of my top 5 shows of all time and Netflix's best show
I will say it again and again... Elizabeth Debicki does not get the praise she deserves from portraying Diana. She completely embodied that role, moved me to tears a couple of times throughout the show
I’m British living in South America for quite some time now, I’ll miss the crown, it was my go to on nights where I felt a little homesick for the quirks and dry wit of my home county. Although I feel as if I’m reminiscing about a country which hasn’t existed for decades now. Life is a funny thing.
I’ve watched the entire season more than 5-6 times and will continue watching it over & over. I find the series so comforting and love watching/listening to it while I work. It is and will always be my favorite Netflix series. All of the cast were amazing!
Just finished the last episode. This show was great from start to finish! They captured lightning in a bottle with this one. Mad props to everyone who was involved in the making!
I keep watching this over and over. I’m a mother of four married to a Gmail in pro sports. Intelligent is EXTREMELY important to me and this is truly one of the most brilliant performances on TV I have and probably will ever see on television. SIMPLY BRILLIANT
I have watched the entire series twice and will undoubtedly watch it many times more. It is truly a masterpiece and it is very nterestin got see the behind the scenes nuances❤
It goes without saying the writing for this is phenomenol, as is with every good TV show. What really elevates it for me is the genius behind the cast. They gave the show a chance to breathe and grow by pulling new talents where they could. Every "no namer" on this show was catapulted after, not just Claire Foy. Unlike a lot of shows/movies now that just recycle the same Hollywood stars you can see why they casted who they did. But they also pulled out the big guns, the veterans, for the continuation of many characters in later seasons because it requires a lot more experience. Love love love this show and so glad I was here to experience in real time.
I watch this show all the time. It was my comfort show. The acting, the history, and the sets. It was stunning. Thank you for being my comfort and I learned more about this complicated family. And able to learn more about Diana who my mother loved so much
This Show was a masterpiece , no doubt. But i Rreally would like to appreciate the editing of this video, which is done so masterfully to be able to capture the essence of 5 seasons over 7 years , Nice Job Netflix.
This is THE most wonderful series I’ve ever seen. The acting the actors the writing the sets the clothes the jewelry the houses the boats the planes everything was impeccable. I am totally in awe I wish they would continue this with the current crowd which could be very interesting in view of the British people press Royal Family etc. i would make a point to watch all over again. It took the producers 10 years to put this together and it shows. I try the follow the actors as they have moved on to other projects and performances. But. They will probably never have the kind of opportunity they have had with this series. Totally amazing. I will miss it a whole lot. Please let’s try to continue it.
This was and is without question the most enjoyable hours of television I have ever watched and continue to do so over and over! I’m not sure anyone or anything could top this! Brilliant
I loved the whole thing, but I wish they told some stories from the Queen's later years rather than give most of the attention to Diana and Charles.. and basically end the show a few episodes after Diana died
Now Netflix should come up with a theatrical release movie of The Crown showing the death of HMQEII and the proclamation of the new King. The monarch dies but the Crown moves on..
Claire Foy's performance as a young Queen Elizabeth II was disappointing -- she played the monarch as a naïf scared of her own shadow. Imelda Staunton's work as the elder queen was serviceable. But Olivia Coleman's depiction of the middle-aged sovereign was superb. She got it -- Elizabeth occupied the most exalted social position on earth and, far from engaging in self-pity or musing about the meaning of life, she said: "𝗟𝗲𝘁'𝘀 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝘁, 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘄𝗲?"
You really didn't understand the series. That's the beauty of the crown, seeing the nuances of Isabel, how she built her personality and everything she had to leave behind.

We need a roundtable for the actors who played QE2

6:19 i love how smoothly the scene goes with the words being spoken. Give a raise to the editor
6:57 also this one

In my opinion John Lithgow was more than BRILLIANT as Churchill
The most brilliant Churchill ever played
They were all brilliant.
I loved it! Every minute of it. Perfect every two seasons with different casts.
The fact that they found the perfect cast for the evolution of Queen Elizabeth II throughout her reign is just mindblowing.
Claire Foy ❤️
I loved the whole thing, but I wish they told some stories from the Queen's later years rather than give most of the attention to Diana and Charles.. and basically end the show a few episodes after Diana died
Such a great show. The 3&4 seasons cast are my favorite.
Season 1 & 2 carried that show tbh... the young cast set the standard
What an incredible show and group of artists
We shall remember Her Grace Forever.
This serie is what I call "setting the bar incredibly high".
I only got Netflix in the first place because of the crown. Money well spent!
oh, I miss it eventhough it’s there to watch.
Churchill was really good
Lesley Manville was amazing as Margret in the final 2 seasons
i hope they'll make something like this focusing the victorian era! best series ever
Netflix, i say this in a nice way, i dont know how you can top The Crown!
Love the unity of all departments
I wish Kate Winslet, Tilda Swinton and Cate Blanchett would have guest starred in this show as well all incredibly talented actors!
This was cinema!
drama series gold standard indeed
This is the role that broke Imelda Staunton out of Dolores Umbridge for me.
Amé cada temporada. Lo mejor q he visto lejos hasta ahora
Best show ever
Claire foy est la meilleure
The cast have always been great but unfortunately the story of the last two seasons were not good enough. I’ll miss the show a lot
Hands down my favorite! I can watch again and again and again, and never get bored 🤍🤍 such beautiful work 🤍🤍🤍
This left me teary eyed. 🥹
05:55 which episode is this?
Deixará saudades.

No Claire Foy was definitely the best Queen by far! I wouldn’t say she was afraid of her own shadow at all.

you're disappointing
