Never felt like 3 different actors have played the role of queen. The transition was very smooth. I’ve always felt like the natural progression of Queen Elizabeth while watching the actors. The casting team of this show is amazing.
The actresses picked for the queens role were phenomenal. Could not have picked better. Even the littlest queen Viola Prettejohn looks remarkably like Claire Foy. Even the brief eye colour change didn’t bother me. Olivia Coleman nailed it despite that.
I love seeing Imelda Staunton and imagining her as one of the best villains in movie history -- Delores Umbridge. There are so many amazing old school English actors.
She is amazing...and honestly, she was truly unsettling as Umbridge. However, it made me aware of her as an actress and discovering the rest of her work was a delight. Love that she's married to the actor who plays Carson.
0:00 CLAIRE FOY can’t say who’s replacing her in THE CROWN 1:36 OLIVIA COLEMAN can’t express much when filming THE CROWN 3:19 JOSH O’CONNOR and EMMA CORRIN on playing royalty in THE CROWN 5:50 MATT SMITH on meeting PRINCE PHILLIP 6:45 IMELDA STAUNTON is served by JIM CARTER 7:40 LESLEY MANVILLE will get to meet PRINCESS MARGARET 8:13 VANESSA KIRBY had an awkward encounter with a fan of THE CROWN 9:46 HELENA BONHAM CARTER has a psychic friend 12:11 OLVIA COLEMAN keeps her OSCAR hidden away
I would love to see Olivia Colman as well as Claire Foy star together in a film in the foreseeable future, possibly directed by either Chris Nolan or Sam Mendes!
I always thought it would be hilarious if the person taking over from Claire Foy was actually Emma Thompson … who was sitting next to her in the interview while they were trying to get her to tell them 🤣
One of my all time favorites was her meeting Jacqueline Kennedy. They were both birds in a gilded cage. Very well done….even knowing it was speculative conversation.
Cut the best part of the Margaret medium exchange.. someone then asked Oliva if she considered seeing a medium to help with her role. Oliva looked a little confused and said something like, "thats not my thing, and she not dead yet anyways'''
1 - I LOVE The Crown, 2 - Claire Foy will always be my favorite incarnation of the Queen, 3- I think it's BS actors can't have props from their own movies and/or TV shows
They started a series on Queen Victoria with Jenna Coleman and then it was abandoned. I was enjoying it. I wondered if it lost momentum over COVID, but they never returned to it.
Omg I'm glad I'm not the only one who saw it, what I wonder is, what is it doing there? Because obviously He died and I doubt they recorded this before his death, plus the crown didn't come out long ago.
I wonder whether it was the instructions that they gave to Coleman that she wasn't to show any emotion. It made her portrayal of the Queen somewhat dry.
Norton is such a crawler round his guests , never was like this on 4, but BBC requirements and the lure of the dollar, sell your instincts and abilities for woke enforced acceptance of everything is wonderful, and the first 2 queens were watchable, the last 1 struggled

I prefer to live in a world where Graham Norton is always interviewing someone and the show is always on. 👍🏼😎💯❤️
Claire Foy struggling not to give up the next cast at that time is simply adorable.
Vanessa Kirby’s anecdote was the most Princess Margaret moment ever!
I was WAITING for Graham to joke - o bottle of vodka - is such a Princess Margaret thing to do😂))
Oh god that first cut was so seamless when they’re like ‘Claire tell us who is next!!” “I can’t!!” “ok… so Olivia…”
The actresses picked for the queens role were phenomenal. Could not have picked better. Even the littlest queen Viola Prettejohn looks remarkably like Claire Foy.

literally could not tell while I was watching, even the voice wasn’t far off they did amazing 😫
i literally thought they used AI at first when i saw Prettejohn
the part where imelda staunton’s husband as carson came out literally sent me😭 also they look like such a sweet couple
The cast for The Crown were amazing.🏅🏅🏅

She is so good that you can hate her as Umbridge and then love her as the Queen.
umbridge's villainy pales in comparison to her author's
@@ella17734they played on that in the second Downton movie
awwww seeing Chadwick brough a beautiful tear to my eye =)
The last episode of Princess Margaret is sad and heartwarming.

The bit where Olivia Colman’s face is on the stamp! Sooo cool! Glad she has it! ❤
9:39 drinking vodka is such a Princess Margaret thing to do))) actors staying with their characters till the very end😂! I LOVE IT❤
Imelda literally getting served made me snort with laughter lol
Vanessa smacking Josh on the arm as she got into the story was hilarious. And beautiful Chadwick. Miss you, king.
I would love to see Olivia Colman as well as Claire Foy star together in a film in the foreseeable future, possibly directed by either Chris Nolan or Sam Mendes!

I thought it was Emma but for a second as well lol but I’m pretty sure it’s Cara Delevingne
I can’t tell you how I feel for Adam Sandler on a couch with Claire Foy, Emma Thomson, and Cara Delevigne and having nothing to contribute
what a brilliant transition of clips at 1:36
Josh O'Connor is more Charles than Charles himself.
And soooooooooooooo hottt
@@FarhanAmin1994😭
I LOVE Olivia Coleman! She is wonderful ♥️
How can you not love Olivia?
Awwwww. The Queen of England and the King of Wakanda. 🫡
I’m amazed how all three ‘Queen’s’ hit it on the nail. Well done Claire, Olivia, and Emelda.
Who else just randomly got addicted to The Graham Norton Show?
Who else is stuck in the never ending loop of The Graham Norton show 👀
Seriously?!? You need to change your plea for attention. Good grief. 🙄

Vanessa’s story has me ROLLING. 😭😂
RIP Chadwick❤
They are all great but I love Olivia so much.
I’m actually more amazed to see Adam Sandler on that couch sitting in a suit!!
I only saw an excerpt of that show - and it didn't show him. What's a talent-free zone like Sandler doing on the Graham Norton show?
Olivia Coleman seems like such a fantastic bestie ❤
Claire Foy, Make me very obsessed with The Crown and I cant move on to the next Exp.😂😂 Young Queen is so very elegant , clean , natural and simply❤
They were all very very good at playing their queen
My partner just finished watching the entire series absolutely brilliant the ending was really sad but beautiful 😢
I love the whole cast. Very well done Netflix
One of my all time favorites was her meeting Jacqueline Kennedy. They were both birds in a gilded cage. Very well done….even knowing it was speculative conversation.
I loved Claire as the young Queen.
Olivia Coleman is so adorably and delightfully awkward with her nervous energy every time she's on the show. She's just so damn cute
Vanessa Kirby is stunning as Margaret.
Matt and Claire have such chemistry on and off screen.
Vanessa Kirby ♥
Gran serie The Crown y grandes actores!
Olivia Coleman is such a delight.
*Colman😌
Vanessa Kirby is a dead ringer for a young Carol Burnett!
The graham norton show is so much funny 🎉
Cut the best part of the Margaret medium exchange.. someone then asked Oliva if she considered seeing a medium to help with her role. Oliva looked a little confused and said something like, "thats not my thing, and she not dead yet anyways'''
They really nailed the casting of Charles and Diana.
Props & scenic techs always slipped me unused camera-ready food.
Thanks Ana, Tony, Jim, Diana, etc... ;-)
Emma Corrin's style reminds me of Molly Ringwald in "Betsy's Wedding" ~ she is really a style all of her own!
Helena and Olivia ❤❤
@3:58 those sleeves are absolutely ridiculous! And, I'm just _loving_ them. 😍 😂😂
Seeing someone wearing something like that, immediately causes me to doubt their judgment in all aspects of life.
😐
😂
@@lori6709 Ain't fashion fun? 😂😂
LMFAO!! (In American!)
Thanks Carson!
Love this show!
Wow, a stamp with your face on is so cool.
Feels awesome being here in the first hour 😂
Claire Foy and Vanessa Kirby were exceptional. The others met expectation.
Imelda is such a great actress! Made me grow up hating her as umbridge. Shes just so good.
Hilarious 🤣 perfect casting of Queen Elizabeth
Hbc was perfect as Margaret
She was superb!

Olivia and Imelda are wonderful 🎉🎉
Love Claire ! As herself or queen !
I love the fact the people with posh accent actually say Philip (like i would say and i also spell it Filip) opposit to most people saying Phylyp
Olivia is the best person ever
It was great to meet Olivia as herself. She played a very strange character in an episode of Midsomer Murders (her hair was blonde in the episode).
Wow who knew Carson was handsom
Thanks.
gotta love us some Olivia, eh? 😁
Didn’t see Tobias Menzies on Graham Norton show..🤔
Even though Claire played the Queen. Could she have played Queen Victoria?
Interesting question
She looks more like Victoria then she does Elizabeth.
They started a series on Queen Victoria with Jenna Coleman and then it was abandoned. I was enjoying it. I wondered if it lost momentum over COVID, but they never returned to it.
I love the crown.. But chadwick is there... Snif snif

The best was Claire foy
Deadpool, Thanos and Sue Storm
Vanessa Kirby gives Jennifer Lawrence vibe
❤❤❤
WISH CLAIRE FOY WOULD'VE DONE ELIZABETH II ALL THE WAY THROUGH!!!👍👍👍👍👍❤❤❤❤❤❤
Part two?
Only season I am watching is the last one
Who in their right mind would suck a bottle of vodka while walking down the street ??
the real prince charles sounds like he's constipated.
If the crown includes something it's questioned if it's factual. If something is left out or hardly mentioned they are slated. Can't win
😅 Ben looks at them like Keanu and feels like me! 😅 English people! What?! 😅
Quirky, eccentric, articulate, witty, sharp, frank, urbane, unpompous. I love 'em.
I love you Brits.. cheers from Argentinean whos grandad fought for all your arses and never was given a penny
Hi mom love you
Love you too, dear.
Graham noorton the best from lorraine
I really liked Claire Foy, Did NOT like Coleman. Liked Staunton
I wonder whether it was the instructions that they gave to Coleman that she wasn't to show any emotion. It made her portrayal of the Queen somewhat dry.
