    Being pro-life does not mean being against women's rights. It means fighting for the rights of those who can not fight for themselves.

    • @Allistar123

      you're technically against a women's right to Body Autonomy when you are pro-life.

    • @iSaraSeantae
      @iSaraSeantae 7 ปีที่แล้ว +435

      Allistar123 And you're technically against the preborn human's bodily autonomy and right to life when you are pro-choice. You know, the way anti-abolishionists were against the bodily autonomy and right to life of slaves.

    • @1000aaronaaronaaron
      @1000aaronaaronaaron 7 ปีที่แล้ว +190

      sara are you okay?? you made zero damn sense. a preborn is not a fully grown human. it usually isn't even sentient in any way until later. and a woman's rights is MUCH greater than a potential babies rights. no woman needs to be forced to carry a baby to term. that is sickening and evil to do

    • @Allistar123
      @Allistar123 7 ปีที่แล้ว +36

      i agree a preborn should have their own bodily autonomy and should live separate from their mother so they won't get poisoned by stuff like alcohol. If we separate them from each other then neither will be intruding on the other right.

      ***** Newborn babies aren't "fully grown humans" (are you some kind of idiot??) and aren't yet self-aware yet they are fully protected under the law. Birth is a milestone in development like beginning puberty or entering menopause. It is not what makes one living or human.

    I was pro choice until I worked in an abortion clinic. It was very upscaled. I soon saw the lack of compassion or ethics. It was all about money,.

    I'm pro life, not for religious purposes but because I am a adult ( 8 months pregnant and have a toddler) I felt my baby move at 18 weeks, I saw life at 8 weeks. the moment I saw my son I changed my pro choice view, why? because who am I to deny this tiny human the chance of life I was given.

      taco supreme- Bless you,you have seen your unborn child for who he is- a human being in his own right.The only reason most people are pro-choice is because they are unaware of the humanity of unborn children.I am convinced that if they realised it,like you they too would change their minds and become pro-life. We have advanced scientifically a long way since abortion was legalised in Britain in 1967, anyone who makes a small effort can view the child in the womb and see them develop from conception but the abortion industry makes a lot of money and suppresses such information as they know they would loose a lot of business.This is what they did here in Ireland to convince the people to repeal the right to life of the unborn in our constitution, which gives you an idea of how desperate they are becoming.People in Ireland don't realise what they have unleashed but hopefully can learn from people like you! You should share your story all over the net,it could save lives!All the best!

    Equating pro-life with religion is absurd. It's simple science that human life begins at conception, because that's when the child has the full set of chromosomes needed for further development, ergo it is biologically a separate human life. This isn't a matter of subjective belief. It baffles me that there are people who claim that 'it's up to you when you think human life begins'. It's not. It's up to science, and science is unequivocal in this case.

    As a millenial who will never reproduce (I am a gay man, and I'm against assisted reproduction and surrogacy), it's not an issue I will ever have to personally deal with.
    But still, I do feel that the men and women speaking out about this have very valid points of view that should be heard and respected. To me, abortion, like assisted reproduction and surrogacy, feels very selfish. Whether it is killing a child, or choosing to spend so much money and resources on reproducing your own genes instead of adopting one of the so, so many children that desperately need it, I think that it shows so little respect and consideration for the actual lives of human beings.
    Reproduce wisely and take care of those who are created, whether they come from your blood or not.

      There is no 'especially'. All life deserves to be lived. God put us on Earth as a man and a woman to procreate. This is the way it was meant to be. There is more of a chance of the woman dying (not to mention not being able to have children) from an abortion than if the woman gave birth to the baby itself and you know this. You lie to yourself with these 'facts' but you know the real truth. Open yourself to the truth. The truth that Pro-choice is benefiting the parents, not the child(ren). Sure, the child(ren) may have a pretty sucky life at first, but at least they have the chance to turn that around. Rape is no excuse. Life is life, no matter how unexpected, or in what cruel ways is was established. If we could realize this, that accidents will happen, that we must overcome them, then we can finally live with the burden lifted from our chests. Many people cannot have children. They would be delighted to raise a child of their own, but no. That child was cut up into pieces inside the mother, each pulled out one by one, making sure that they had all of them, because, if they didn't, the mother could suffer from an infection leading to death. The child is thrown into the dumpster, cold, alone, no one to love and nurture it. But the "parents" did not think about this. They decided to give up their precious beloved, thinking that they could not care for it, not realizing that anything, ANYTHING, is better than the clutches of death. My soul mate could have been aborted. This thought always sends chills down my spine. Do you think I would have cared that her mother was raped or her parents couldn't care for her so she was put into adoption? No. I wouldn't have. Would you?
      Remember that these are my personal views. You can do absolutely nothing to change them.

    • @amandamaxwell7370
      @amandamaxwell7370 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Rock of Sisyphus Empathy led to the "creation" of religions. Religious leaders taught morality. The majority of humans in the world decided they liked having moral rules to abide by, which kept them safe. These rules became the purpose of having a government. Governments were created ultimatley to enforce these laws as chosen by the people. (this is excluding the authoritarian governments that were established by sociopaths for the mere purpose of expanding their wealth and power)
      The concept of human rights has always been around in some form or fashion. But as society progressed, humans tried to simplify the concept down to a model that would help people of the world understand what would or would not be considered "human rights." And now it is being applied globally.
      A sociopath lacks empathy and therefore cannot understand the very first concept that makes human rights important. So a sociopath must understand that the reason this concept matters is because it is part of what has made society progress from the time of our primal ancestors. Killing is the ultimate method of violating human rights. Liberty cannot be achieved without the right to life. That's why any termination of human life is an insult to freedom.

    I am 21 pro-life and don't understand the choice in pro choice. Pro Choice is contradictory because you choose to have baby when you choose to have sex. You can't take it back because you end up getting pregnant. That's like choosing to drive drunk then saying wait never mind after you crash. You know the consequences so you have to make the choice before you take the action not after.

      The control over their own bodies might be done without affecting another person, in this case, the baby. The decision of having or not a baby might be done in the bed, not in the hospital. A baby is not a disease: it is a normal biological procedure of having sex. If a man or a woman are old enough to having sex, they are also old enough of knowing what it implies. So they should use sex properly, not as a simple toy.

      K8 b - Your comment makes you look like you are subhuman and not human. Obviously you have severely reduced ability to think. To comment properly requires knowledge and you do not seem capable of doing a research or learning. Otherwise you would have known that a mother and her child DO NOT SHARE THE SAME DNA.
      Every human is genetically unique, an individual's DNA defines him as an independent human life. A MOTHER'S BODY IS NOT THE BODY OF HER CHILD WITHIN HER. A growing individual within his/her mother's womb has a DIFFERENT BODY FROM THE BODY OF MOTHER. A child within a woman uses resources provided by that pregnant woman , that child is sheltered within a mother.
      Therefore, for a woman, or for a very stupid man, to say that a child within that woman is her body is an utter stupidity. Everybody who says this nonsense is designated as a total moron who is a waste of oxygen and resources on this planet. He or she can be lawfully killed to make space for more smart people. What is your address ? There are people who would be interested in visiting you.

Science says that a unique human being is formed at the moment of conception. ALL humans deserve the inherent right to live. It is the most basic right as a human being. A human being shouldn't be denied that right regardless of their size, stage of development, or place of residence.

    It can be a bit awkward because although I share my pro-life opinion with religious friends, I'm socially liberal which clashes with them. And for my more liberal friends, being pro-life automatically excludes me.

    mom told me that when i was born,she held me up from her hospital bed
    and looked at me, and said to herself
    (you mean i get to keep this little baby !!) that just went to the core
    of my very soul to hear that,i always knew that, but to hear it just

During my life and speaking with girlfriends [prior to marriage] my wife and other women along the way, the most repeated thing I’ve herd is the regret and sorrow of having an abortion. This is one of the most pain full things I’ve ran into during my 57 years. So people should pause and think first.

    I'm 14 and a black Jamaican female. I go to an all girls school and most of them don't care for Jamaican politics or American politics. I'm prolife and im sure if people knew I supported Trump rather than Hillary I would get shit for it. I find that the majority just take what they see and hear from American media as fact. There is one girl in my class (that I know of) that is a feminist and she is pro-choice. I haven't gotten the chance to have a debate with her tho. Though most, I'm sure aren't feminists, some of them are prochoice and I just find it ridiculous. The class's form captain told me that I seem to be insensitive because of my stance on abortion (she's my friend so it's cool) and frankly I don't care about feelings when it comes to the life a defenceless baby. I'm a happy that abortion is illegal in Jamaica with the exception of birth complications and rape. Tho I don't believe a child should be killed for a rapist's crime and I don't believe someone with mental illness is less of a human, I just believe adoption can solve it and not murder.

    The abortion issue has two major aspects, the rights of the mother, and the rights of the person performing the abortion. The pro-choice crowd almost always ignores the latter.
    If a mother wants to use an abortofacient, then it should probably never be a punishable offence to make that choice. The only thing punishable would be financial, if the woman received goods and services at the expense of others to help care for the baby, then she should be required to repay that to the state, charities, friends, etc.
    A medical practitioner on the other hand is supposed to strive to preserve life. A physician killing an unborn child without a justifiable cause should neither be allowed or condoned, and at times should probably be a punishable offence. Some will bring up the issue of "viability," but the reality is a healthy unborn baby or newborn is always viable unless the mother refuses to care for it.

    Way back many years ago, I was having sex with a girl 7 days a week for 2 years straight. She was taking the pill. One day, she purposely stopped taking the pill because she wanted to get married. I didn't want to get married. Her and her mother went to planned parenthood, called me, and she threatened to get an abortion if I refused to marry her. I went to where she was, and I accepted her proposal. I wanted to live with her, but she said she'd kill the baby if I didn't marry her. That was terrible. I actually ended having a nervous breakdown, but I agreed to marry her for the purpose of saving my child's life. Right now, my oldest son tells me thank you every day because I saved his life. I didn't want to get married, but I didn't want to be responsible for murder either. Although the marriage didn't work, I am still glad that I stopped that crazy girl from killing my son.

      Further, you exhibited stupidity when you made it an important "argument" that a LIVING bundle of cells called 'woman' has rights which"unborn" bundle of cells should not have. How stupid you are, a child in a woman's womb is ALSO ALIVE. Have you, until now, been living under the impression that a living growing child within a woman's womb is a corpse ? This is too much.

    • @matthewbragonje9333

      Aren't we as bundles of cells? Life is: "the condition that distinguishes animals and plants from inorganic matter, including the capacity for growth, reproduction, functional activity, and continual change preceding death." doesn't the baby fit these requirements? They are both living and one does not have the right to kill the other.

    I'm considered under the bracket of "millennial" and I am both pro-life and pro-choice. I believe that abortion should be readily available to all women who choose it and I believe that addressing the real problem of unwanted pregnancies will naturally make abortion and unneeded option.
    Forcing women to live out an unwanted pregnancy is just as cruel as rape. More energy needs to be put into the babies that have already been born to ensure the health and well-being of the babies yet to be born. Making abortion illegal does not address the real problem.

    All abortion defenders use fallacy arguments. none of a consistent stance. When someone says "what about rape" I like to ask them the following: Ok, so in the sense of finding a middle ground, if I was willing to concede that the 1% of abortions that come from rape should be legalized for that specific situation, would you be willing to concede that the other 99% of abortions should be made illegal because they are wrong? Every time I ask this the abortion defender says "No, because it is still a woman's right to choose" in which I respond, Oh, so you were using the most disgusting and terrible case possible of rape, which is just 1% of abortions, to defend the majority of abortions which are based on the convenience of the mother because she doesn't want a baby. We don't make laws based on the marginal, we do it on the majority. Every time you destroy a pro-abortion argument they switch their stance. if they claim viability and you prove that this is a dumb logic, they switch to the womans body, destroy that and they switch to rape, destroy that and they switch to the hardship of the child. etc. etc. Just have the intelectual honesty to admit your stance, you want abortion as a way out of pregnancy and you don't care if it's killing a life. Because at the end of the day only 1 question matters. Is it a life? if it is not a life, then who cares what the excuse it just abort it...its not a life....but if IT IS A LIFE...then you can't kill it and the excuse to do so doesn't matter because it is a life

  • @TrueChristian

    I love when an abortion survivor is able to give their testimony. Listen to her. She said, IF my mom didn't leave 1 minute before she was scheduled for her abortion I would never have lived, graduated college, gotten married. The reason it's so easy for these pro-abortion people to kill the baby is because it is gone before it has a voice, they have empathy for the "mother" but not the baby. But I want you to hear that woman's testimony and how grateful she is to be able to live, and apply that to 60 million human beings that would have said the exact same thing had they not been murdered in the womb. It's so ironic to me that the only people that defend abortion are people who did not have to suffer an abortion, everyone who is pro-abortion had a mother who was at least pro-life when it came to them.

    I don't want you to be forced into having an abortion, but I don't want you to be forced into being pregnant, or having a child you didn't want. Just don't get pregnant if you don't want a baby. Not that hard.

    I am against abortion, but I am pro-choice since I believe women should choose for themselves and not because I feel like it's wrong. We all have different morals.

    Im a millennial and i think its great that there are other millennials reaching out to each other about being prolife. Its terrible that theyve had to endure hate from other people just because of a difference in beliefs. I think its fine if some people are pro life or choice, they can decide whether they want an abortion or whether they want to abort without having to sacrifice their beliefs! I just dont understand why you would want to impose your beliefs on someone else? And this goes for both sides, because people can be hateful on both.

    under the constitution the rights to life, liberty, and persuit of happiness cannot be denied to any human unless through due process. unborn children are living. therefore they have those rights. i think it is always unproductive to cast the pro choice side of the argument as murderous and immorral, as most people would reject being cast that way. Whatever our views we always need to make it an argument of constitution to keep everyone open to your thinking. that is a well-founded stance in the U.S.

      the issue is that the babies right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness is coming at the expense of another person, the mother, which is a big no-no.

    No, there is no religious opinion needed, this is a political issue. Religion and politics shouldn't mix because of your beliefs

    We not only want everyone to survive the time in the womb, but to live long fulfilling and exiting lives, which includes making the next generation, while on the way to becoming "seasoned citizens" themselves. Take this from an old white man.
