When this mask thing comes up the normal question to ask is did it have eye holes cut into it so she could actually see where she was going without crashing the car? Columbo doesn't seem to address that, only that as a flat photograph there was no shadow under the nose of the driver.
@@Backup_Plan It was a speed camera in a specific location they obviously knew about. Drive over the speed limit for 200 yards before the camera. Stop just after and remove the mask with minimal risk. Total distance driving with the mask on perhaps about 300 yards . Mask attached to the cap. Mask flipped up with cap slid toward the back of the head but not so far as to fall off, and mask up far enough to see the road. Small eye holes to see enough for a couple of hundred yards. Not driving 50 miles with the mask on. That would be silly.. If the speed limit was 60 mph , then 200 yards before the camera , pedal to the metal and reach 75 or 80 mph to get flashed with mask on. 200 yards at that speed takes 5 - 6 seconds.

I can only find seven
Wow, Sondra Currie had a magnetic smile there
When this mask thing comes up the normal question to ask is did it have eye holes cut into it so she could actually see where she was going without crashing the car? Columbo doesn't seem to address that, only that as a flat photograph there was no shadow under the nose of the driver.
Yeah, I noticed that. Not the first episode with plot holes.
If it had pin holes where the eyes were that might be enough. I don't think this would stand up in court though.
if he planned murder alone, and only afterwards she got him confess to her about it, how did she know that must drive in his car to produce the ticket?
@@ephelduath610 It's explained earlier in the episode. He had asked her to do that without telling her why. She even tells him later (after she figures out that he is the murderer) "Ever since you borrowed my car and sent me on that "research assignment" I've been wondering why. NOW I know why!"
Just great, the final scene when Columbo reads the rights to him 👍🏼😂
"Let me just drop all this evidence on the floor.."
The picture Masks have no holes for the eyes to see!!
This is the silliest ending in the series. There’s no way…
Dabney could play ANY ROLE, I loved him in 9 to 5 and every thing else.
I liked that officer. She was in a couple of episodes. She really added to the movement of the plot...
Great job here by Dabney Coleman, with the arrogant bad guy teetering between a show of smugness and hints of fear. At 5:30 his eyes water as he realizes his goose is cooked...
Columbo has such a mean sense of humor!
Its funny how miranda rights were a new thing within the past 10 years of this episode airing, making that bit at the end funnier.
Интересная серия-как обычно спасибо Коломбо!
I like that he just drops the evidence after digging it out of the car.
I love columbo, he is one of the best
Columbo catches the Commodore :)
How could she see through the mask?
good question. its a flaw in this episode
She only needs to wear it long enough to get past the speedcam. She can just cover the eyes with something that doesn't show up on film.
Eyeholes? Small ones at the pupils, maybe?
4:30 that police woman who was in columbos car was also in Knight Rider and Airwolf.
Concrete Jungle ('72), Kolchak: The Night Stalker ('74), Policewomen ('74) and many other shows and movies. Sondra Currie had a very active career and is still working.
