Sis, if you get a townhome with HOA Its a world of hurt. They will raise your common chargers at will and charge you a lot ridiculous fees at will so be careful.

@@Everythingteash Girl....please take my advice. Background: I'm 48 but have only "had to" live in an apartment complex for 14 mos out of my entire life. I prefer PRIVATE landlords: garage apartments, basement apartments, 4 plexes, etc. I also love remodeled condos. These (gorgeous, affordable units) don't come on the market every month (more like 4x a year if best)....but its worth it...even if you have to break a lease at an apartment complex. Right now, I live in a GORGEOUS, brand new garage apartment in an upscale area. I pay $1700 that includes ALL utilities/Internet....guess what? No noisy neighbors....you get to live on a gorgeous residential street...your landlord is a human being....not a corporation. Just go to coldwell banker home dallas rentals....put in your filters (price, etc)...and then be on the lookout everyday. The BEST places come on the market May-October. Again, do not be afraid to break a lease to get into a private rental.

Hi Teash, are you able to share any apartment complex recommendations?

Hiiii, just seeing this. What’s in my videos are what I can recommend. I plan on doing an updated video of areas to live in however, I’ve passed places that I think are nice but I’ve toured them all I feel. I’m hoping I have finish editing all my videos and post two a week. Some are more expensive than others, etc.. but they’re coming 😊

Hey probably a dumb question, but are any of these furnished or are those just for show?

Majority of the complexes here in the DFW metroplex are unfinished. If you want furnished apartments, they are much higher and predominately in high rises
