I have a 2024 Maverick XL with the 2.0 Ecoboost engine. It rides and handles very well. Averaging around 29 to 30 miles per gallon in mixed driving. I don't need a bunch of options, so I think the XL is the best value. Even the base model has cruise control and other options such as power windows, etc. The XLT is very nice, but costs around $2,500 more than the XL. If you add a bunch of options, you will pay $5,000 or more for an XLT.
I'm going to look at a couple Maverick XLTs this weekend, what are your more detailed thoughts on wind/road noise and the stereo? Is the wind and road noise enough at interstate speeds (70 mph+) to make conversation with passengers a bit difficult? And/Or is the base stereo not good enough to compensate for the wind/road noise? I've seen so many conflicting reviews where some people say the XLT is loud and others say it is actually pretty quiet. Hopefully when I test drive this weekend I'll get somewhere that I can drive at highway speeds for a couple miles. If not, I'm going to have to find a different dealership that will let me take it on a better test drive.
These vehicles were supposed to be sub-20k trucks, now they are 40k OTD, it's ridiculous, for that price, get a low mileage Ranger or F150, aka a real pickup truck.
Nice truck as always!

Sweets for the info bud
I just bought a 22 Maverick with the 2.0 awd XLT love it more than my 21 RAM 4x4 with the HEMI ....Gas wise
I love my 2024 Maverick XLT with 2.0 liter engine and AWD, 4k towing.
I just bought a 24 Lariat and it doesn't have the keyless keypad. It is NOT standard on the Lariat. You can add it to any trim level.
Any major power train or shifting issues? Thank you.

I think people are interested in the gas mileage and it being a "city truck"
