    I'm on my second one, bought the 23 XLT Hybrid, then traded it for a 24 Lariat Hybrid and my son also bought a XL Hybrid. They are awesome.

    Since Ford has deployed project for „small truck „ I became fan for it . Market needs different options to choose what is personally good for You.I believe Ford has gave opportunity for it. So , now I searching opportunities to buy , but definitely will go for 2.5 hybrid option , with XL trim or XLT depends of load . Very good presentation, clear and open . Thank You .

    I’ve had my Maverick eight months now it’s an XLT hybrid no extra markup because I waited for this truck 10 months and the dealer honored everything that we spoke about ….. I paid 32,500 out the door including an extended warranty, platinum, bumper-to-bumper

    I went shopping for a few months and I ended up with a Red Ford Maverick 2023 XLT fully loaded Tremor.It’s just fantastic.
    High off the ground
    Great vision
    Square shape with lots of head room.
    AC very powerful
    Seats very comfortable
    Great for parking in Brooklyn
    Makes me feel safe.
    Cheap plastic is real great.
    Has bind spot monitors
    Heated seats
    Clear view out the back with no chicken window and tinted windows are not dark.
    The red is a orange red so looks very cool.
    Screen is small but ok.
    Music/sounds system is fine.
    Has full size spare tire
    Bed is not big but good enough for every day basic needs.
    It fun to drive even in Brooklyn.
    The only issue is I wish Ford bind spot and land keep’s would make sounds.😢
    Also I wish you could put a extra front bumper.

      @stevezilla68 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      For sure. I paid $29k for a 2023 hybrid XLT with moon roof, BAP, and a hitch. Same configuration on a 2024 costs $35k

    • @trevorbraun2574
      @trevorbraun2574 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@stevezilla68 I have a very similar configuration, less the moon roof. I was “lucky” to have my build delayed so much that they pushed me to 2023 and I got price-protected. Had they not done that, I likely would have cancelled even with the increases at the time.

    If I buy one and I’m considering it, I would order it as an XL, 2.0EB, AWD and 4k tow package for the upgraded cooling package. It would ultimately be more reliable and less costly to maintain than the hybrid.

      @Reluctant_Hero 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The Ford Maverick is rated as one of the most reliable affordable cars, and one of the most reliable trucks on sale. It's more reliable than a 50k Tacoma or 90k tundra. I might need to get software updates, but at least my engine isn't blowing up.

    ty for sharing, over all kool truck I mainly buy the more base models for work or around town beating and I get cost saving + lowering your expectations for price point but common 2024 and manually adjusted mirrors, 🤣 that's just a new ford low ... Kool truck but at certain price points certain things in 2024 should be standard.

    • @mrmrlee
      @mrmrlee 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Crazy thing about the manual mirrors; I would expect them at least to have a little joystick inside the door pillar with linkage to manually adjust the mirror like on older vehicles but no, you actually have to lower the window and push on the mirror glass with your fingers! Considering my car is a base model and it has cruise control and intermittent wipers the mirror lack of features is pretty weird.

      @christopherpardell4418 11 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Cut them some slack. The Maverick is the only thing Ford makes that folks want right now… Their other trucks are ridiculously high priced. The dealerships are close to folding. I went to a Ford Dealership in Temecula, and they promised sticker price for any truck Ordered direct from Ford thru them. I ordered like the second day they were taking orders. It took almost 6 months to get it, but I got exactly what I wanted. And I paid the sticker price. I have a friend who bought one off the lot and paid a markup, but the markup was only 2 grand, which made his truck 30k Still 15k cheaper than a comparable tacoma or ranger.

    My 17 F150 was Flawless not a single proton 95K and my 23 F150 seems to be on the same path! Both are lowly XL’s with 2.7 Ecoboost engines and pretty fast to, I’m fine with a recall and I have one, it happens to all the brands. But so far my 2 F150’s have been way more comfortable reliable and efficient compared to my 2002 Tacoma which rusted out and my 2015 Tacoma that chugged fuel worst shifter I ever drove and horrible comfort, was rusting in less than 2 years, but I did get a great trade in on my 2017 F150, in 10 years I’ll be 71 if God allows that for me, I’ll probably buy a Maverick m, easy to get in and out of.

    For $25k? Yes, a good value. Good luck getting it at that price however. Dealerships froth at the mouth to offer "VIP perks" or dumb BS to pump that price right into the low 30s. Unless you're placing an order and waiting a year or more, good luck finding an XL hybrid at that price and a dealer that isn't trying to rip you off. If you get below $30k, go for it. If it's above, walk away. Speaking from experience, I should have negotiated harder. They'll keep ripping us all off if we keep buying XLS above msrp. Don't let them tell you it's a union strike problem or a supply chain problem. It's a "let's give the CEO a 30% YoY pay bump and ship all manufacturing to Mexico" problem. Let's not forget the 5+ recalls on the 22' and 23's. Safe bet is to only look at 24's, and even then, with a healthy does of realism. This isn't a $25k truck, it's a $30k truck minimum after taxes, add ons etc. The $19k era is long gone, and good luck with interest rates. Anything below 8% with good/great credit is standard. Go in PREPARED.

      Ranchero was more car than truck as far as looks. I feel like the maverick was the successor to the Ford Explorer Sport Trac which was the Explorer suv made into a truck the same as the maverick is an Escape/BroncoSport turned into a truck. Sure it doesn't have the body on frame but it is targeting the same audience.

  • @Chubbydippin
    @Chubbydippin 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    Trucks are for having room for stuff more so than room for 4-5 people. If you have more of a need for room for a family rather than for stuff, I get it. But a 4-4.5' bed? Great gas mileage is a plus. But I have no use for a 4.5' bed. That's a hatchless hatchback. Or a suv with open air rear storage. Or better yet, call it a small bedded sedan. That being said, I'd buy a Maverick if they had a small cab 6' bed option.

    • @mergenocide
      @mergenocide 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Exactly! This thing is like an ute, which is big in Australia and I imagine if ute-styled vehicles were released in the US they would also be popular but its use case is distinct from a truck imo. I was also on the fence with a maverick, I was saying just that for about a year or so "If only they came with a six-foot bed!". Ended up going with an access cab tacoma with a 6ft bed instead.

    I'd lease one of these for a few years, ain't no way I'd buy one. That carbon buildup at the intake valves makes me nervous, only real way to clean it is to remove the head and walnut blast. I would not use a spray cleaner, you can lock up the engine. And finally you can add a catch can and that will definitely help but you'll just be delaying the inevitable. Most people that buy these things have no idea what they're getting into, they're not car people. They just see shiny and sign their life away.
