**Update, The coolant issue with the 2L Ecoboost has been fixed which is great news, Secondly I was NOT able to tow with the Maverick just got rained out. But if there is enough interest I'll get this truck back on the channel and we'll do a towing loop and payload test. I think it will be fun!

I'd love to see an mpg loop. I've been trying to convince my bosses we need one as a work truck for when we need to move guys more than stuff. We've got a GMC 2500 extended cab that gets 10mpg and a regular cab f150 that's getting like 12-13mpg. If you need to move 4 guys and a couple tool bags, the maverick starts to make a lot more sense. Had to drive the 2500 to our warehouse for some clocks the other day... Felt pretty overkill
It's as much of a truck as most people really need and that's just fine. I think it fills a niche that hasn't been filled for many years and I appreciate that it's doing that
If you only need a vehicle for light duty work this looks like a great alternative to a full or mid size truck. Most people who buy a full size truck but don’t use it as a work truck never come close to utilizing their “real” truck to its full capability.
Used to have a F150 but it was getting old. So looked at a Ranger, Maverick, and Ridgeline. I went with the Ridgeline even though it was over $10K USD more than a Maverick, just seams like a better vehicle. And no turbos to worry about. And it’s built in the USA.
I have three trucks, F100 restomod, 2018 F150 XLT FX4 and a F350 4WD flatbed. I have seriously considered a Maverick as an addition to my small fleet. As garage fitment goes, I build the garage on our house to generously accommodate my F150.
The 2.0t had a redesign of the coolant slots between the cylinders to fix the coolant issues. The slot was replaced with a drilled hole to increase the head gasket width between the cylinders. I had my short block replaced under warranty on my 2017 Lincoln MKZ with the updated design.
I'm excited for this series! If I didn't need a full size for towing / working, like if I was an office guy, I'd totally get a Maverick or Ranger. Ive always loved the mini trucks.

The advantages of size and maneuvering in increasingly tight parking spaces is another plus. But the advantage to consider is its PERFORMANCE (MPG). A family member has a 2016 Fusion AWD 2.0 Ecoboost with well over 150,000 miles on it and it still runs strong. It has not shown any performance problems due to carbon buildup and the turbo is the original with no issues. Properly maintained these engines will last. Being turbo charged you need to change the oil more often than Ford schedule 5,000 to 8,000 miles depending on usage. City driving requires more frequent changes.
I've had 3 F150s since 2010. I just got a maverick XLT Lux AWD. I honestly can't figure out if I love it or hate it. It's a massive adjustment in luxury appointments to drop from an F150 Lariat. Yet it's just so much easier to drive in an urban environment. Then factor in the price and it's ..... Such a great and versatile vehicle it's nearly impossible to fault.
It's a baby truck with a payload of an F-150. Neighbor has one with over 1500lbs payload on the door sticker but only tows baby trailers. The gas mileage of the hybrid is quite nice and heard a rumor that AWD will be paired with hybrid in 2025+, but I don't follow the little trucks closely.
I've got the exact same truck but the hybrid version. For bigger stuff I tow a 6x10 ft aluminum trailer. Did a 400 mile trip with 400cc bike and small ATV including hilly terrain (WV) with ease on gravel roads. Including highway got a combined 18.5mpg doing legal speeds. Mixed driving unhitched average is so far 44-45mpg. 7,000 miles in 5 months with no problems. Bought a cap and a pullout bed = great tool truck for farm chores. Perfect all around commuter. For heavier duty the HD farm truck steps in. Front wheel drive in winter is like 1/2 an AWD😜
One thing many people don't do is let the turbo cool down before shutting it off. I know it;s a pain in the butt, but if I'm doing highway driving, I let it cool down a 2-3 minutes before turning it off. If I'm doing low speed around town driving (30 - 40 mph) I give it at least a minute to cool down. I also only use only 90 octane non-ethanol or 10% ethanol 93 octane. I also use full synthetic oil every 4000 miles.
Leaking head gaskets were a problem on earlier generation 2l ecoboosts. The new engines have a redesigned block that prevents that problem from occurring. I have worked on a 2l ecoboost with the bad designed block. It had over 250,000kms on it and had never had any engine issues so the new design has a good chance of having good longevity. Only time will tell.
Yeah always funny people trying to act macho and using what they drive to try and "prove" that to others. Maverick is great for what it is. My bare bones F-150 has a 2060lb payload but to be honest I could probably get away with a Ranger or Maverick most of the time.
1500 lbs is also pretty similar to what you get on a Ram Power Wagon, since its GVWR is derated for its off-road suspension. The Maverick isn't particularly good at off roading or towing, but the size is great for many people, and its payload is pretty surprisingly good.
lol I love this, I have a crew cab long bed f150 it’s payload is 1895, I saw a powerboost with a 1212 payload, at that point, as cool as the onboard generator is, there no way you could tow a camper and a family and not be far far over payload
Cracked exhaust manifolds are not an issue on the 2.0l ecoboost. It doesn't have an exhaust manifold. The exhaust manifold is an integral part of the cylinder head and the turbo bolts directly to the head. BJ
These trucks really do make a lot of sense as a daily driver. I don’t know anyone with the hybrid getting less than 30 mpg. The 2.0 ecoboost got the updated block in 2020 I believe. My wife has the 2.0 in her Lincoln and it makes some impressive power for its size and compared to other engines in its class. I work in construction and you’d be surprised how many of them I see as fleet vehicles.
I bought one 6 months go. Great truck, nimble easy to drive and park. Lots of low to mid range torque. Main thing is oil changes at 4K-5K to keep intake valve carbon in check as much as possible. AWD...accelerating it applies some torque to the rear wheels, also in slippery conditions of course. But during normal cruising conditions it's front wheel drive only. Note though, it does apply power to the rear wheels when needed properly. One can go to the AWD screen and observe the torque distribution if desired. Awesome fuel mileage... 4,800km trip averaged 7.8L/100km. Thats flat prairie's doing 110-120kph to West coast mountains, and some city driving.
Their has been a vehicle class for over 90 years for this type of vehicle (Ford came up with it), it absolutely fits in to this class. Its a "Coupe Utility" or a "Ute". Its a "Passenger car based vehicle with an intergraded cargo tray." It shares the same unibody platform as the Escape and the Focus. Can I call the Subaru Brat or the El Comino a truck? Great video! Thanks.
I had an FX4 Maverick for awhile. I really liked it and was very impressed with it's capabilities. Only got rid of it because I wanted an F150 Tremor more.
The Ford Maverick hybrid is basically just a car sculpted with a bed.... which is exactly why I bought my 2024 base model in blue (which has every feature most really need). Smooth, quiet ride for my daily commute, 40 MPG all around except in real cold weather, good ground clearance for forest roads and I can throw a dead bloody deer in the back 2-3 times a year and hose it out. I never tow anything anyway. Will it last? I can only hope, but I'm sure as hell loving it right now.
I would absolutely get a Maverick or something like a Hyundai Santa Cruz. I currently drive an F350 Power Stroke crew cab and would like to not have to use it for basic stuff. I want tio be able to hop in a much small daily driver and go do what I need to when not towing or hauling big stuff for the home.
I say buy what you like. I have a 2023 XLT 2.0 FWD. I don’t need all wheel drive and I see front wheel drive as a “poor man’s” four wheel drive. I don’t need a big truck and personally don’t like the looks of them. I basically needed a reasonably priced and sized vehicle that could carry four people and have an open bed when I need to haul something odd sized or dirty and I can haul a motorcycle around. Almost zero chance I’ll ever get anywhere near 1500 pounds in the back. So far I’m getting on average 30-31 mpg with probably 70% 2 lane road and 30% city driving. I’m not really thrilled it’s a ford as I don’t have a ton of faith in the long term reliability of it but as far as design and features it’s like they read my mind and made the perfect vehicle for me.
Considered buying the 2.0L, AWD and tow package Maverick for over a year. Ended up getting a 2.7L GMC Sierra with tow package for a similar price point. Just far more capabilities in the 1500 than the Maverick. Still a solid option for those who don't need the capabilities of a body on frame truck.
I have driven it all over my familys farm land and it hasnt gotten stuck once yet, something i cant say about the 93 1500 GMC farm truck. I just had an overcab rack on my maverick and drive a kayak and all my luggage and fishing gear 500 miles very comfortable over the 4th of July weekend. Overall would prefer a longer bed, thats my only complaint.
There are no exhaust manifolds on the 2.0 Ecoboost. Turbo bolts right to the head and the head has the exhaust manifold cast into it. Also the block has been revised to eliminate the coolant issue as stated above.
Were the Chevy El Camino, Ford Ranchero, VW Rabbit Pickup ... pickups ? So yes. Looking forward to more. Spyshots seem to imply that '25 will have hybrid AWD.
I traded in my F150 for a 23 Maverick Lariat, and am enjoying the heck out of it. I loved the F150 but couldn’t justify the MPGs for how little I used it to haul things.
I bought a 2024 Maverick about 3 months ago. Mine is the XL model and I really like it. The Ecoboost engine is averaging between 28 and 29 miles per gallon over the first 2200 miles. It handles and drives much better than my old Ranger, and gets over 20 percent better gas mileage. It is also nice having a back seat with storage under the seat.
Great review. People get hung up too much on the "real truck" nonsense. Most trucks are either commuters or lifestyle vehicles. I doubt more than 1 out of 10 are used seriously. Suggestion: I'm not sure if it is available in Canada, but one I would love for you to take a crack at is the 3.3 NA truck.
@@GettysGarage I believe they are still available for fleet sales, and maybe a few sneak out for the market. It appears that you cannot order a truck with one however.
@@GettysGarage no, the Ridgline is a little bigger than the maverick, I thought it was semi-trying to compete with trucks like the Tacoma. I was thinking if Toyota made a little baby truck like the maverick it would be perfect.
If you want an aggressive grill you gots to pay extra for the aggressive grill package. It's an extra $8,000CDN but you can spread the payments over 8 or 10 years.
The one thing I'm surprised you didn't mention and that I believe separates the Maverick from "real" trucks (hate that term) is the same thing that differentiated Crossovers and SUVs in the past. Trucks and SUVs have body on frame construction to the added durability in adverse and rough terrain. The Crossovers and these newer Mini-Trucks is the unibody construction. While great and usable for anything on road and even okay for occasional forest roads, they just can't take the abuse off road that the heavier body on frame vehicles can endure. That doesn't make them lesser or worse. Just different tools for different jobs. For the occasional hauling or camping trips that most trucks see the majority of the time, something like a Maverick is great. Many trucks are over kill for the needs of the owner. Essentially anyone who lowers their truck or only drives on pavement and never tows, but might need to move a couch or appliance on occasion, could probably get by just fine with the capability the Maverick offers. That said, overkill is highly underrated!
You need to check out that titan. There's not a lot of information on them but they're great. I have a 2018 midnight and I absolutely love it. Especially the power
If you order it with tow package you also get 373 gears. I had one for 50,000k and I got more than I paid for it. I would buy another one. Handy little rig. Came with a brake controller too!
If I didn’t have to tow a 7000 lb trailer I’d 100% get a Maverick - it would work just fine for everything else. PS: I saw a Maverick at a campground pulling a Winnebago Micro Minnie (about 4200 lb UVW)! Yikes!
To your opening question, "Is it a truck?", in addition to the application, you also need to think about how you define "truck." If you define it as body-on-frame, the Maverick is not a truck. But that seems arbitrary. I prefer a more functional definition - in other words, what it can do. It has a bed which means ceiling to worry about so I can, for example, haul a refrigerator to the dump. I can also drop the tailgate and haul 4' x 8' plywood or long boards. I wouldn't want to do that often, but I can do it. It's comfortable going down a pothole-ridden gravel road too, even with an inch or two of snow. With the tow package, it can tow a moderate trailer. Those all seem like truck functions while most of the arguments against it being a truck are based on aesthetics or arbitrary design criteria cherry picked to preclude the Maverick from qualifying.
I went to our Ford dealership to get a F150 but i am not paying 50-60 thousand for a truck the sales person said you are retired do you really need a full size truck then he showed us the Maverick 2.0 8 speed trans ABS tow package bed cover sprayed bed i drove it i bought it it the right fit for me an my wife for pellets an for her flowers for less then half of the F150 ian i love it
A 3 liter diesel version or an electric gas engine combined of this thing with beefier parts to tow 5500 -6000 pounds would be nice !Especialy with an off road package with 2 inch higher overall ,a much more optional and modular vehicle just smaller than a Ranger .At the same time keeping the price tag under 65k!
It is a homeowner's truck. Trips to the garden center and hauling stuff too big or too dirty to put in the back of you car. I am retired. I don't need AWD and 40 MPG appeals to me so I got the hybrid. You can get AWD in the 2025s
Ram has the Rampage in Brazil .. I think it should be sold here as well probably kill their 1/2 ton sales.. I hardly ever tow so I would dump my 1500 in a second …. Maybe a baby hurricane engine!!
Well I got one exactly like that that 36 mph 31 average it makes a great truck for the light duty stuff and the wife can handle it without backing one of my other trucks in to stuff
I traded my 2019 f150 Lariat for 2023 Maverick Lariat 2.0l. The F150 had a payload rating of 1620lbs. The Maverick is rated at 1490lbs. I had a 2018 F150 that was only rated at 1280lbs. The bed is plenty big for what I need on a regular bases and is only 12 inches shorter than my F150 bed was. Much nicer truck than my 2008 and 2012 Rangers and much more comfortable. I loved my F150s but the Maverick is much more suited my need and much easier to live with on a day to day basis.
It would be nice if you could get one. I ordered one on May14 and still have no answer except they did send me an E-mail that my order had been received and they would let me know when it was in production. So far nothing and I have sent them E-mails inquiring about it but nothing. I even wrote to customer service in Dearborn asking about it but they will not answer me.
It's a new version of the old Ranger. And here in the Maritimes......they're still EVERYWHERE!!! I've got a 2019 Ranger and I still my '07 Ranger desperately.. My next vehicle will be a Maverick. Just waiting for the 2025 rumors to be fulfilled of a Hybrid AWD extended cab.
To answer your Q, too small. I owned Tacoma for 6 months, could not wait to trade out of it. I took a picture at the dealership of it parked next to the half ton I traded it for and it was dwarfed in comparison. And it was a TRD Offroad with longbed. Coming froma 1st gen Tundra I thought it would be a comparable size. Definitely not.
Let me just say something else before I explode. You cannot buy an *F150 XLT* down here in the states with a heated steering wheel. Fact check me. That's pretty amazing that the maverick has it.
@@GettysGarage From my recent escapades in new truck shopping, the cheapest trim for an F150 with a heated steering wheel was the Lariat and that was over $70k USD. But walk across the street to the Chevy store, and you can find heated steering wheels in trucks costing much less. What's annoying is they'll pack all this stuff into other models, car based models and it will be included for a lot less moolah.
That size is great for certain lifestyles. Just look at the Stout diesel. We need something like that here. I wish the Maverick had a better injection system. Concern is carbon buildup.
We have ~90k on our 2015 Focus 2.0 Ecoboost and it's doing perfectly still. Have a catch can on it that gets cleaned every oil change (5k intervals) but even without it I doubt we'd have any issues that could not be remedied pretty quickly/easily.
Grandsons 2016 Fusion AWD 2.0l turbo has over 150,000 miles with no carbon problems and still running on original turbo. It has not had any engine related issues and it is the old style block that is supposedly prone to coolant problems.
The hybrid is front wheel drive. The Ecoboost 2.0l is available in front wheel drive in the USA or all wheel drive. The 2.0l is only available in all wheel drive in Canada.
@@dpl2617 Now you’re getting it! Hand carts are also called “hand trucks”. The term truck came before the automobile and the “pickup truck” is simply a style of automobile. Why else is it under the style category along with SUV, sedan, coupe, etc.
I saw someone towing a 14-16’ trailer loaded up with lumber with a maverick, dicey! If it had a simple v6 maybe I’d get one but with the 2.0 eco oops that would be no.
"Is it a real truck?" Who cares what you call it, does it do what you need it to do? Do you enjoy the way it looks and drives? Call it a turnip for all anyone cares. 🤪
My honest opinion! Overpriced Garbage. For that claiming to be a truck! It's not a truck at all!! It's based off the last gen Ford Escape platform which is based off the Focus in reality which wasn't that good of a car especially the final generation if it! I'd never buy this or anything now considering how things are made to break and or have little to no warranty after awhile, so leasing is what I do that way I get new upgraded rides that are always in style, with warranty from factory. For those who want a small truck lease the Ranger It's a little bigger, but it's a much better option and it's actually a real truck.
That fuel economy is nothing to write home about; my 2.0 td Ranger averages 7.5 L/100km (over 30 mpg) I know it's a diesel, but it's still a bigger and heavier car than the Maverick. Having said that, I think they're really cool and if you could buy them in Australia I reckon I'd buy one 👍
Your knowledge of the 2.0 Ecoboost is obsolete. The head gasket coolant leak was fixed four years ago. There aren’t complaints from the updated design. A reviewer who doesn't understand what he's reviewing isn’t much of an asset. The Maverick is no more of gimmick than a CUV or your channel. Nobody is cross shopping full sized trucks with this thing. Nor is no one looking to go to Moab. If you can’t do an review with intellectual honesty. Just don’t do the review.
@@chadmiller6487 Chad, you need to learn that your truck isn’t an extension of your own shortcomings. I have equipment that dwarfs your truck but I don’t boast like you do.
**Update, The coolant issue with the 2L Ecoboost has been fixed which is great news, Secondly I was NOT able to tow with the Maverick just got rained out. But if there is enough interest I'll get this truck back on the channel and we'll do a towing loop and payload test. I think it will be fun!

The Maverick is a great little pickup. I think the segment will become quite popular if Ram and GM decide to join the fray.
A small class GM pickup with the 2.7 turbo max engine would rip hard off-road if they built everything around the engine tough enough.
The Maverick is the perfect small truck. Ram should bring over the ram 1200. GM will be late to the game and screw it up as usual

It’s got a good looking profile especially when lowered .
Ordered my 2024 XLT in Carbon Gray
Great review, you should look at doing some a single cab half ton truck. They can be made very affordable.compared to others.
Those things are hard to come by. But I agree, pretty ram doesnt even make standard cab truck anymore, at least here in canada anyways it seems
My dads maverick gets 52 city. It really makes me want one now a days.
now a days?
As per se, a small pickup truck is not a bad thing. It's the application that counts - as you correctly pointed out 👍
Were the Chevy El Camino, Ford Ranchero, VW Rabbit Pickup ... pickups ? So yes. Looking forward to more. Spyshots seem to imply that '25 will have hybrid AWD.
Hopefully they drop the Hybrid with the AWD it only makes sense.
I love it!! If I ever need to downsize from my F150 I'm having one.
I traded in my F150 for a 23 Maverick Lariat, and am enjoying the heck out of it. I loved the F150 but couldn’t justify the MPGs for how little I used it to haul things.
Either that truck is lifted or you’re vertically challenged, I can touch the bottom of most boxes 😉. Miss you buddy!! See you soon !!
Great info! 👍👍
Thank you sir
Great review. People get hung up too much on the "real truck" nonsense. Most trucks are either commuters or lifestyle vehicles. I doubt more than 1 out of 10 are used seriously.
Suggestion: I'm not sure if it is available in Canada, but one I would love for you to take a crack at is the 3.3 NA truck.
those engines are slim, but have run into a couple. I believe they are no longer making them with the 2.7L ecoboost now being the base engine?
@@GettysGarage I believe they are still available for fleet sales, and maybe a few sneak out for the market. It appears that you cannot order a truck with one however.
Good review. But if I'm looking for a truck in this class (small/mid size unibody) it would be Honda Ridgeline all the way.
I love the idea of these super little pickups. If someone else made them besides hyundai and ford, I would probably buy one when I'm done with school.
Honda ? lol the old Ridgeline
Hybrid awd is what I want. They make that for under $25k usd, and I’ll be at the ford dealer tomorrow
I'm not sure where you're getting your numbers from but here in the USA they start around 45k for the base model if you add 4x4.
Yes sir, nothing wrong with more aggressive gears on this little rig
Do you have to put it in tow mode to get the aggressive gearing or is it 373 gears across the board?
I drive the inlaws maverick it gets a constant 25.9 miles to the gallon In the Appalachian mountains!
If I didn’t have to tow a 7000 lb trailer I’d 100% get a Maverick - it would work just fine for everything else.
PS: I saw a Maverick at a campground pulling a Winnebago Micro Minnie (about 4200 lb UVW)! Yikes!
my wife wants one. its perfect for her. great gas milage
If they came with a 6ft bed option it would be great for work
pls pls ..keep the l/100km numbers for your canucks fans.., its easier if you can display both pls
Im pretty sure your not supposed to tow more than 2k unless you get the 4k package. They throw in transportation cooling and a different gear ratio
Doesn't come in Awd in hybrid form.... yet! Also, did they solve the coolant leaking into the cylinder a few years ago???
Yes a couple people have mentioned the coolant issue being fixed, and it does seem like ford will bring the AWD to the hybrid. I hope they do.
Ever heard of the 3.0 duramax in the 1500 Silverado? What about the 2.8 duramax in the Colorado or Canyon? Look up the numbers on the 2.8
With a lift/bigger tires they actually look good
It is a homeowner's truck.
This must be Canada 🇨🇦. I bought a 2024 Black Ford Ranger XLT 4x4 Sport for a little over $43,000 which was $47,000 oh the door in USA 🇺🇸 California.
Well I got one exactly like that that 36 mph 31 average it makes a great truck for the light duty stuff and the wife can handle it without backing one of my other trucks in to stuff
lol I didn't want to explicitly say it BUT a perfect truck for the wife.
A 1400-1600 lb payload is pretty much a necessity to do anything. Most SUVs have that as a standard payload target as well.
Has Alex tested a Frontier SV long bed 4x4?
It would be nice if you could get one. I ordered one on May14 and still have no answer except they did send me an E-mail that my order had been received and they would let me know when it was in production. So far nothing and I have sent them E-mails inquiring about it but nothing. I even wrote to customer service in Dearborn asking about it but they will not answer me.
Ford Ranger next..... my boyyyy
Should have waited for the 2025 - the Hybrid will have AWD optional.
Its not for everyone, I agree with you, its too small for my needs.
@@GettysGarage Hauling needs aside, the interior was cramped and uncomfortable. Supposedly they improved it.
Hi Alex, It's a real baby truck. Is the Honda Ridgeline a real truck too?
I mean I would have to say yes - to the right person.
This truck reminds me of inflation or shrinkflation. Same price as an f150 from a few generations ago. Kids, behold!
Exactly and people are accepting this as the norm. I refuse to accept it I’d rather buy used
You should do the Hyundai Santa Cruz now
That thing is apparently pretty quick with the 2.5L turbo
Let me just say something else before I explode. You cannot buy an *F150 XLT* down here in the states with a heated steering wheel. Fact check me. That's pretty amazing that the maverick has it.
I was impressed with the options on this thing. BUT there are only like 3 trim levels I believe so they got to fit stuff in I guess lol
I forgot to mention it's a 2024.5 model and it cost me the equivalent of $33k USD brand new..
The best bang for the buck in this segment is the Nissan Frontier
I don’t think this truck competes directly with the Frontier. The Maverick is more of a competitor to mid size crossover SUVs.
the Frontier is certainly a great option I don't disagree
@@GettysGarage maybe you can get a hold of one and let us know what you think
Isn’t the Maverick a FWD truck?
The hybrid is front wheel drive. The Ecoboost 2.0l is available in front wheel drive in the USA or all wheel drive. The 2.0l is only available in all wheel drive in Canada.
It's so cute, just like you!
Oh thank you.
Ram is out of their mind $70,000 for basic truck. $900 a month for 96 months 😂
Suggestion review the Jeep Gladiator.
Honestly I had the maverick or the gladiator this weekend and well took the maverick so maybe I'll get the gladiator next time its available.
Good little grocery getter, but not quite a "truck". Do a review a the Ford Ranger, a actual body on frame truck.
By definition it is a truck. A truck is a style nothing more.
Has a bed. Payload meant for more than just moving people. Tie downs. Sounds like a truck to me.
I mean yes and no, the fact that it has a bed would make it a truck but I agree the frame on body is much more traditional for a truck.
@@BradyReading My golfcart meets that same criteria, as does my SXS and yes it's registered for the road.
Dicey indeed! Apparently on the forms people are towed like 8k with the maverick lol I wouldn't.
Real truck, not a real truck, I don't care. Just offer it with a single or access cab and a 6' bed too. If they did, I'd buy one.
Agreed, 6 foot bed would be more useable.
Toyota should sue ford for making the Prius T before toyota did, because that's what this is lol.
"Is it a real truck?" Who cares what you call it, does it do what you need it to do? Do you enjoy the way it looks and drives? Call it a turnip for all anyone cares. 🤪
No a truck has a 8 ft bed, rwd, and a manual trans.
This is a AWD car at best
My honest opinion! Overpriced Garbage. For that claiming to be a truck! It's not a truck at all!! It's based off the last gen Ford Escape platform which is based off the Focus in reality which wasn't that good of a car especially the final generation if it! I'd never buy this or anything now considering how things are made to break and or have little to no warranty after awhile, so leasing is what I do that way I get new upgraded rides that are always in style, with warranty from factory. For those who want a small truck lease the Ranger It's a little bigger, but it's a much better option and it's actually a real truck.
Some of us can’t keep to the annual mileage and also some of us don’t wanna make forever payments by leasing everything.
“So….except for these 3 major engine problems it could be a reliable truck”
Yikes
Rims? Those are... WHEELS! Rims are a part of a wheel.
Guys, just stop with this rim stuff already.
That fuel economy is nothing to write home about; my 2.0 td Ranger averages 7.5 L/100km (over 30 mpg)
I know it's a diesel, but it's still a bigger and heavier car than the Maverick.
😅
I see no use for this vehicle. That said, please strap 4k to it and see what happens 😂
Similarly, your pickup comes up short to the trucks we use in our quarry. Yours is probably not a real truck, more like a poser. Just saying......
@cwqrpportable 23' GMC 3500 drw.. definitely a shortcoming..
@@chadmiller6487 Chad, you need to learn that your truck isn’t an extension of your own shortcomings. I have equipment that dwarfs your truck but I don’t boast like you do.
Not a gimick for me.
