Well, in post-game, Mimir mentions that she wants to retire. Meaning Hraeslvelgr just wants to quit the job and can't be fucked with it. So, think mythology Hades who does his job well, but suddenly wants to quit.

All y’all forgetting Kratos literally killed Death himself. Thanatos was a primordial, the original beings and creators of the universe far more powerful and than gods or titans, with Thanatos being the physical incarnation of death. Hraesvelgr is nothing. Of course, having died himself several times, Kratos still respects her position.

When I first heard Jörmungandr talk, I almost pooped my pants. It was such great sound design. I expected Hresvelgr to sound similar.
However, this is/was something else. I got terrified when I heard her, especially because I was still up at 3AM while listening through Dolby headphones at max volume. Absolutely demonic, especially the part at 0:35 (THAT terrified me).
Anyway, can you imagine being the voice actor who recorded this? Must've been a fun session at the sound booth.

I cant believe how much you could do with atreus and freya w/ all the different dialogues in each side quest. It really is replayable to do all side quests before the ragnarok mission

I think they're hinting that she hasn't been born yet. Atreus made Fenrir using his soul and Garm's body and Him and Angrboda made Jörmungandr. They easily couldve made it so they pull another with this bird but chose not to. That makes me think that we'll see Atreus and Angrbods have an actual birth daughter in the future who will be Hel in some way with slight abbreviation since she will be born after Ragnarok.
When going to Helheim again in Ragnarok I was really hoping to see Hraesvelgr again, so i was really happy about having this moment

Ragnarok started early cus kratos entered their realm which changed the timeline So hela isnt born yet Atreus got fenrir soul to garm and Jormangadr from time it would be nice to see hela see her young father but i think loki and angrboda will have a future together in the up coming GOW games
The only reason why we never saw or heard of hela is because marvel copyrighted the character for Thor ragnarok and SMS got his with a lawsuit for using hela in the game so they dropped her completely

Probably similarly made as snake that they found in basement, and then it became Jörmungandr, or at least will be similar to Fenrir- a pet.
Unlikely, she mentions she wants to retire and makes mimir agree to find her replacement, I imagine a future conflict will be atreus and angrboda's child being chosen.

First time hearing this thing's voice and it's the scariest goddamn thing I've ever heard. The World Serpent sounded like how you would expect a monstrous intelligence snake to sound like. This bird sounds like straight up demon from the darkest pits of hell.

Unpopular opinion: Hrasvaelger is one fight that Kratos will not win. Like Garm, she doesn't have a soul. But not only does she not have one, she never did. Using the trick Atreus did on garm won't work on her. So I'm glad she's not an enemy

This part is when Kratos and Atreus are chasing after Garm. There's a fork in the road, where you can go right or left. Left progresses the story, but right takes you to this scene. I'm assuming you immediately went left and not right.
